Absolute criminals! Do not get insurance with them! I'm 43 and have a clean driving record. I was hit from behind in my tesla by someone making an illegal overtake move and after they basically demanded that I can not wait a month for tesla to repair it that I take it to another body shop or I lose my rental and start paying the lot storage fees for my car with 20-30000 dollars worth of damage on Christmas! They also did not take our side and without even asking our side of the story deemed myself at fault even though we were hit by someone making an illegal move! I told them I felt the only shop I felt comfortable looking at it was tesla. Our adjuster Jeannine Bavumi has been very rude unprofessional lied and not done a thing to make our life easier but made it even harder. Yesterday she even tried to tell us that the car had to be moved to out of storage and a car that is so badly damaged it is undriveable will be dropped off to our house without consent. My wife and I can not believe that this company would put us at fault when we both are injured victims of someone hitting us and now our lives are deeply affected they won't even protect us. We will be taking our two cars and house insurance elsewhere.

Wouldn’t recommend this insurance company to my worst enemy. This company had me driving around for 3 months with no insurance with absolutely no knowledge of it, I received a letter 3 months later. When I called they owed me over 100 dollars and had no care in the world that their lack of communication with their customer could’ve cost me my entire life if I ended up in a bad accident. Boycott TD bank and insurance services

One week has gone by since our flood took place and we have received zero help from TD insurance - no adjuster has been assigned to our claim and we have been navigating this horrible situation blindly and without any help or guidance. This has been the worst week of our lives and TD insurance completely let us down. Avoid TD insurance at all costs.

Hello everyone I have full coverage with my car and my car was stolen on December 12 and today is April 10 and they didn’t wanna gives me rent car or they didn’t wanna fixing my car I am very disappointed with the TD Insuranse and I don’t advise anyone to deal with them my advisor is name Sugumar and whatever he asked me for paper I send it to him he still not able to finish that looks like TD not good company with Insuranse home or Auto please keep your self away with TD I didn’t recommend it to anyone at all very bad experience I have with this company

Ils ont augmenté ma prime de 111$ (je payais 369$ annuellement pour ma voiture). Ils justifient l'augmentation de 30% par l'inflation. Même chose pour la maison, augmentation de près 21%. Je comprends des augmentations à cause de l'inflation mais quand ton dossier est excellent, aucune réclamation, 30% est ridicule. Quand j'ai demandé comment ils justifiaient une augmentation de 600$ à celui qui avait une prime de 2000$ car ils m'ont dit que c'était 30% pour tous, leurs réponses était exhaustives. N'hésitez pas à magasiner, la fidélité pour les assurances n'est pas payante pour les consommateurs.

I had a great experience with this branch! Jennifer, the auto claims advisor was wonderful, helpful and extremely kind. As a young women who just got in her first accident I was nervous to go through the entire process. However, the team at TD insurance auto centre was so supportive. I did have to wait a few months for the parts to come in but they updated me every few weeks and was transparent every step of the way. Thanks again!

I have been with TD Insurance Meloche Monnex for about a decade and the last 2 years has been nothing but a headache. I switched my policy from annual payments to monthly in 2021. I gave them everything they asked for to do so. They proceeded to not implement the changes or bill my account… then proceeded to cancel my insurance. After repeated calls and leaving me uninsured for days they finally admitted it was their mistake and reimplement my policy.

Now that policy is fully paid up paid up and they somehow expect me to pay them the first 2 months of next year’s policy over 30 days before my current policy is even up. What is even the point of monthly payments then?

Unless you plan to do annual fee payments they don’t seem to be able to figure themselves out.

Avoid.

- Initially quoted 18 business days to do repairs. Completion date: June 28.
- On June 24, receive an email that the completion date has moved to July 12 - no explanation provided. When I call to find out why I get voicemail. No call back.
- On July 8, receive an email that says car will be ready on July 12. Excellent - I make plans to use car the following week
- On July 12, no call, no explanation, when I call I am told new completion date is July 15. Refuse to provide rental car.
- On July 15, no call, no explanation, when I call am told completion date now July 26
- On July 26, no call, no explanation, when I call I am told completion date now July 29
- Front line person at shop and adjuster have no idea what is causing the delay. Asked to meet with manager of shop as delay is now more than a month! Manager refuses to meet.
- July 29 comes and goes, receive an email indicating new date is August 4.
- After more escalation, they finally provided a rental car on Aug 2.
- Eventually got my car back on August 17.

Total repair time: 76 days. No explanation ever provided for the delays other than "we found additional damage" but provided no explanation as to what that damage was. Except for the first time I never received any proactive communication about changing completion dates, the dates just drifted by and I had to call to find out what was going on. Zero ownership of the problem by TD Adjuster or Shop Manager until finally someone on the insurance side took action.

One positive: the repairs appear to be well done.

Ll these years I was mistakenly thinking this one of the best insurances and always was wondering why they receive such negative feedback.
Now I completely understand and you will understand once you have a claim with them (Hopefully you will never have one) especially when you are completely at no fault and they will try to reduce the cost as much as possible of the other insurance company at this time only you will start the feel of frustration.
I will try to do my best to reach out to all of those people and friends whom I referred them to use TD insurance and would say sorry please don't.
You start to feel very bad when your adjuster notify you that even you have 5 years replacement cost we can't declare it total loss (By the way air bags already deployed too) as the replacement cost will cost the insurance more than the actual value of the car even if the customer who at no fault would lose the trade in value of his car so this 5 years replacement cost actually works against insurance holder as insurance always will go to repair option to save and work on their best interest or other insurance best interest at the end the consumer who will get punished.
Even I told them I already had a signed trade in a week before the accident with deposit paid and dealer would refuse to take it, but TD wouldn't understand that. No choice other than legal case which is wasting time for every one that exactly how no-fault people can feel.
Please always consider many criteria before you decide about your new insurance company it's not only the premium price.

Liars! Constantly advertising that they have lifetime warranty on the parts they repair but when the parts do need work they say it’s not covered. They repaired my sensors for $$$$$ but would not even look at it when it’s broken shortly after.

An accident occurred on my car while I was parked, then it started shaking, and when I went to them, there is a tester who tells me that I can drive my car on internal roads, not highways. Is this an acceptable response when I put integrated insurance?

Only reason I am with them is because I get a very good rate. Some of their staff is nice and try to help you with your claim but the manager there is a joke. He does not care about your situation even if it's not your fault and wants to get you out the door as soon as possible.

I was them for almost 4 years now. During the first two years, I was a vey satisfied customer. Then I moved and changed address of course. This is where the problem began. I moved twice and my insurance sky rocketed twice. From $140 up $170 and now the latest quote is almost $200 and it is simply because of the new address (I'm in the suburbs of Ottawa). I have a clean driving record but that did not matter.
Definitely not keeping them!

I would like to make this short and simple.

TD has now attempted multiple withdraws from my account and when I blocked them from their mistake they couldn't fix, they sent to collections one of the payments that were supposed to be paid in less than a week.

I paid collections the actual amount owing and then TD stated they never sent a request out (even though the collection agency had all the right info) nor did they receive the payment from the collection agency.

Even after sending them screenshots of everything, I have yet to hear from any agents on whether the issue has been resolved.

Unfortunately they have made multiple errors through their system with 0 accountability since August.

Think real hard before choosing TD insurance before you enter another headache into your life.

I'm disabled and unable to ride my bike anymore.
It's up for sale.
Td wants 1100.00 uo from 580.00 in New Brunswick to keep it insured.and the bike is parked.
Plates are expired.
Now it sits in storage with no insurance.
Thanks TD insurance for nothing

I requested that our plociy been cancelled due to the sale of our house about a month prior. A month after the sale I noticed the premiums were still coming out. I had to jump through ropes to cancel. A copy from the lawyers showing the completion of the sale was not enough! They requested that my wife sent them a letter confirming the cancellation request. I guess it is in the event that she would like to continue coverage on a house she does not own any more.does that make sense? It is an insult to our intelligence to treat people in this absurd way! I have 2 other policies with TD, if they treat us this way when trying to cancel I can only imagine how they would treat us if we had a claim. I think I will move my policies to a broker, I will get much better service!

Customer service has gone way way downhill in last 2 years.used to take less than 2-3 minutes to get a rep on the phone.now takes 30 min+ to 1 hour.and I've called several times in the last 4 months.same result. Also been hungup on (3 times now) after waiting for almost an hour on hold. Meloche Monnex used to be so good for the 15+ years I've been with them. NO more now that TD has taken over and ruined a good thing. I'll be looking elsewhere next year at renewal time.

The worst insurance company ever, crashed my truck it took td 4 months to fix, waited over two hours to talk to an agent only to have to call back like three times. You can't reach them when you need them. I was told to call on Friday afternoon when they are not busy so you can speak to an agent. The cancellation policy that TD needs is just put in place to rip you off even more. I cancelled my service 3 months ago, I had to put a stop payment in place to stop them from taking my money.

THE worst ever, the 3 stars is deserved! Be wary.

Every year this company withdraws the annual payment twice from my account without asking for my consent, so I called to ask for my money back and the customer support hang up the phone when I told them I need my money back please. The treatmenrt was humulating because I have to call multiple times to beg for my own money. Plus, I have to wait for at leat half an hour on the line before someone picks up. This is causing me a lot of stress because I have other commitments to pay for, so I am definitely switching to another company as soon as possible.

Twice now I have cancelled insurance on motorcycle/snowmobile with TD. The agent
Confirmed the policy was canceled. A month later I receive a letter asking for full payment.
Than I’m told the notes on file only indicate a policy review.ridiculous. If I could give negative stars I would.

If there is a negative rating, I would rate TD auto insurance (NOT this centre) there. I obtained a quote online and after a couple of calls (giving each and every detail every time, though they say that all info and conversation would be on file), when I called to check for final approval and to purchase the policy, the premium was hiked by around 100 bucks and the person on line was adamant to say that there was no other (lower) quote on file. Won't suggest to waste your time on their website obtain quotes, they're not going to honour that anyway.
