Telemed MD

Hours are from 9 to 5pm (says so online and on phone). I call their number at 3pm, and then again 15 minutes later, and keep doing so every 15 minutes; they're open but won't even answer the phone! I'm not leaving a callback number because can't because I'm using a public phone and as I have no phone. It's now 4 almost 5,4: 15pm right now, and tried calling once more, yet still hearing on phone 'we aren't available at the moment'. Been 2 hours, you're open and getting paid but not doing your job; do your job please pick up the phone and let me book an appointment!

Would rate 0 stars if I could! Two days in a row I was able to make appointments online, both times I received confirmation emails from TELEMEDMD. I wasted 2 days waiting for a doctor to call me back, and when you try to call the main line it just rings and hangs up on you.

I provided all my information and made an appointment online. TeleMD confirmed my appointment and never heard back from them. I even emailed them back to see what was happening and nothing! I hope this isn't a scam!

This place has terrible customer service. They don't get back to you for ever and when they do they send you the wrong stuff. I will not be going back to them again.

This review is for TelemedMd - not necessarily this location. I booked a virtual dermatology appt yesterday for an appt time that was offered for today. After booking, a message appears that an email confirmation will be sent out. No email was received and I could only assume that since a date and time was offered to me that I did indeed have an appointment for today. In fact, several dates and times were provided for me to chose from. I called them this morning to confirm my appt for today and was told that I did not have an appt and that the way it works is that my request was sent to the speciality department and that I would hear back with an appointment for a future date. I explained that their system is very misleading. One would assume that they actually have an appt when given the choice of date and time. I would have been waiting for one hour today for a call after making arrangements with my employer to do so. They need to change their system of booking appts.

Booked an appointment online, and someone emailed me to follow up and book on the same day! Was happy about convenience of connecting with a doctor from home, without having to go into a clinic and waiting hours

I have been calling them for a month but they are not answering my calls. Please answer my call I done my blood work and I’m waiting for dr to review.

I believe this organization is a scam and putting people's lives in Jeopardy. On June 22nd we had a phone consultation with a doctor (supposedly) and asked for a referral for my mother who was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Her health card number was billed. I have followed up with them multiple times. First time I was told someone will reach out to me soon but no one ever did. My last follow-up request was completely ignored. My mother needs to now spend more time, which she does not have, to look for a doctor to get a referral. How could a organization like this even be allowed to exist in a first world country is beyond my comprehension.

Won't use again - not a normal virtual care provider. Appointments listed on the website on weekends, even though there is no one in the office to "book them", so there's not actually any available, yet the website allows you to book one. They then email you on Monday to book an "appointment" which is actually a 4-hour long window of time you are expected to wait around for a doctor to call you sometime within it. If you need a lab requisition, it's an entire 3+ day process between booking an appointment, and waiting 48 hours afterwards to actually receive a lab requisition from some administrative member via email - after signing a consent. Why the doctor can't just email it or post it to a patient portal immediately after a virtual appointment ends (like every other clinic), is beyond me. Waste of time. An in-person walk-in clinic is rarely more efficient these days, but it would be in this case.

Setup an appointment, they emailed me confirming my appointment, yet they never even called.basically just collected all my personal info and never called too fulfill my appointment. Never again.

Hard for me to understand why it takes a Telemed MD Psychiatrist two (2) weeks to upload his notes for the family doctor to issue prescription. Because its OHIP funded, does that mean there is no urgency and patients are expendable? This is just not right and needs to be investigated by the Provincial authorities.

I have been waiting for two months for notification of appointment for blood/urine tests. That is a long time.

Wish I could give zero stars if I could. I was matching with an extremely rude and condescending “doctor” today who made me feel ultimately worse than I did before. Shame on this service for allowing patients to be treated in this manner.

I had a VERY neglectful Family Doctor.
I go to a WALK-IN CLINIC OR CALL TELEMED MD now!

Seems that its up to the patient to figure out everything would not recommend this place unless you are desperate or just need a prescription

Nothing but great things to say about the service and care our family has received in Sault Ste. Marie, On. We are able to have access to the health professionals we require in a timely manner. So grateful for all that the staff does to care and help people in our community.

I don’t have a family doctor Right now, so using telemed during the pandemic has been one of my only options. Every time I call I always get one of the staff without going on hold. They then usually tell me a doctor can follow up in an hour or two, which is fine! I always get what I need and will continue to use them until I get a family doctor in the area.

Easy and effortless, I was able to get a dermatology consultation quickly. I would use this service again

I had to use Telemed MD for a refill on my tablets for stomach acid. Process was so easy and simple and they faxed the script over to my own pharmacy within an hour! Awesome service, flawless. Highly recommended them.
