On Thursday last week I lost my phone in a phone in public washroom. Of course I was so stressed. And the following morning I had surgery booked
I went to this kiosk at centre point mall and received amazing help from Kalpana Baswala

She was very understanding and knew exactly what to do to cancel my old sim and give me a new sim for an old phone I had with me
She had me up and running in no time

Low and behold I bought a new phone and the one I lost was returned to lost and found at food basics where I lost it

Great ending

But I had to mention the great service I was given by Kalpana Baswala

Very nice very professional and most of all.

I just purchased Koodo service with new sim card here through a guy who calls himself a manager about a month ago. Since the purchase, I had really bad connection with hearing, internet and speaking through the phone & I was getting a lot of complaints from the other end where I could not continue conversation. So I talked to Koodo, they were willing to provide a new sim card & told me that I can get it through the store/booth. I went back & explained what was happening, first he said I had a old phone which I purchase about 2 years ago. Then he refused to provide a new sim card even if I explain what Koodo said. He told me he would give me only if I paid. He said he will not even look up on my account so he can see what Koodo was willing to provide. He refused stating that he was too busy even when there was no one at the counter & he was just chatting with his coworker. He was very rude and disgusting, as well as insulting with his words and behaviour. He was so nice when I first purchased Koodo service but it was awful to deal with a person talking to me in such a rude manner. I hope everyone sees this review and avoid this booth for extremely bad service. You may run in to same problem if you have issue with your phone.

When we initially visited yesterday, the sales associate was very kind and calm.

But, the sales associate that was working today was absolutely ridiculous in how he was treating and serving customers. I understand working alone with multiple groups of customers waiting is frustrating and difficult, but really, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. It was clear that this staff did not have any respect for the customers. When we told him that we would come back another day to think about some things, he aggressively told me that I would be wasting $360 for being indecisive, if I were to miss out on this promo that could possibly be gone tomorrow. We just went to bestbuy mobile and got everything we wanted. We’re never going back to this location.

Exceptionally RUDE Service at the Centerpoint Kiosk in Toronto, ON (6464 Yonge St)

I went in today to inquire about the "Plus We'll Plant a Tree" promo of $45/15GB that is in partnership with GREENMOBILE. However, my experience with its KIOSK manager, Jayden, has been exceptionally rude and distasteful. Here's what happened:

To begin, I asked Jayden if he was able to help me out with a few questions I had about the promo since he seemed to be busy. He responded by saying, "I'm always busy, but I can help you out. " It was such an arrogant statement that made me feel like I was treading on his precious time. Is that even a professional comment an associate representing TELUS should even be saying to a customer who is genuinely seeking help?

Nevertheless, I proceeded to ask him if he could provide further details about the $45/15GB plan that was printed out on a piece of paper that was simply plastered onto the booth. Upon hearing my question, he brushed me off by saying that everything I needed to know about the plan was in front of me-that it's $45 and I get 15GB of data. Because he did not bother with further clarifying additional information such as the cost of the activation fee, I continued by asking him about that. In an annoyed tone, he responded by saying that the activation fee is like any other activation fees that I can expect from other carriers or providers. Then he proceeded to hand me off to one of his associates because he had other matters to attend to. Now he was too busy to help.

By this point, I had no reason to continue my conversation with this arrogant and condescending representative. In fact, this experience is an extremely poor representation of the values of TELUS as a whole. Managers like Jayden are the very FACE of the values and principles that are conveyed to the public.

I cannot recommend anyone to ever go to this kiosk until TELUS is able to vet for its own managers properly to provide the most basic and fundamental etiquettes of customer service.

This was an absolutely disappointing experience.

I had a haunting experience with the sales representative at this Koodo Kiosk. I was looking to switch from rogers to another network with a better plan and told the sales rep that I was comparing plans before making my decision. He lashed out at me for not going with his plan right away and questioned me in an uncomfortable, threatening manner as to why I would not select the plan he was offering right away, he then made rude hand gestures to tell me go ahead - get lost. I got my plan at Virgin mobile from a friendlier sales person right behind. Would probably never sign up with Koodo only due to this experience, your brand gets character from the people who represent it.

I came to this location hoping to resolve issue with my sim card not being recognized after buying a new phone online, I came to a Telus physical location as KOODO automated website help suggested that the best solution for my case. And this location was the closest telus location to me.
Once I arrived there, I was told that they will not help me, because I did not buy the phone at this location, and I would have to call customer service. A nice reply given that I do not even have a phone number, because it was transferred from another provider to KOODO.

By far the worst store employee I’ve ever come across. He was rude to every single person that dared ask him a question.

I understand it’s cyber Monday and dealing with customers could be exhausting, but the attitude this guy had was mind blowing.

Although I confirmed everything over the phone with Koodo, I went into the store to pick up two phones to not have to wait for them to get delivered.

He told me that deal wasn’t possible. I asked him if I can return the phone in case I can’t rectify it with Koodo over the phone tomorrow, he told me he doesn’t want to sell me the phone if I plan on returning it. It’ll take him 2 hours to process a return and he doesn’t want to.

In shock a laughed and told ok, I won’t return it. He then grabbed the phones off the counter and put them away saying he doesn’t feel comfortable selling the phones to me.

Don’t waste your time at this booth. Just go to Wow! A few steps away.

Uvays assisted me with porting my phone number from the old provider to new provider using a EPP. The process took a lot longer than I thought which include setting up the plan, getting verification from the old provider company, and also from the new company and being put on-hold through various phone calls. I thank Uvays for his patience and courteous help!

Salesman tried to sell me something I didn't want.
Ended up not buying what I wanted and got it somewhere else. I never trust a salesperson who knows stuff that no one else knows and wants to share his secret deals with me, a total stranger. Still a Telus customer, but not with this kiosk

Could not believe how rude this store employee was.

I went in to purchase a pre-paid SIM card. I was told the price was just over $20 and I asked why since the same SIM card could be bought for half of that price off of the Telus website. The employee proceeds to go off on a very rude and condescending lecture about why he has to charge more and ends it with an impudent remark that "If you don't want it, don't buy it. That's Economics 101".

I replied that it was unbelievably rude of him to act in such a condescending manner and that I couldn't believe he'd speak to customers that way. He interrupts, clasps his hands together, closes his eyes and says "Please, please, can I just have my time back. " Then as I finish, he snaps "Why don't you tell me how you really feel? ".

He did this all while in front of another older couple of customers who were also at the stand. Shocking.

Oh, and his mask was hanging around his neck throughout the whole interaction: both while speaking to the older couple and while speaking to me. Mouth and nose were fully exposed.

Long story short, I went here to get a plan I was promised over the phone.
The manager repeatedly falsely insisted that the plan I wanted didn't exist.
He then threw a tantrum in the middle of the mall.
When I went to the Koodo booth in promenade, a much friendlier Koodo employee quickly helped me get what I came for.
The centerpoint Koodo manager literally wasted 3 hours of my time for no reason.

I can say without exaggeration that I've had the worst customer service experience of my life here.

Not only did my experience begin with the manager taking forever to sell a phone to the customers in front of me by chatting about irrelevant nonsense, the manager had absolutely no idea what he was doing.

I went to this store after being promised a specific plan by a koodo rep over the phone.
When I told him about what I had been promised, the manager immediately began to angrily insist that what I had been promised was impossible.
I called koodo again, and a second rep from koodo made it clear over the phone to the manager that the plan I came to get was indeed possible.
The manager immediately began to angrily argue with the koodo rep using MY phone and have a shouting match with him that lasted over an hour.
During this hour he made no attempt at all to listen to the koodo rep and when the argument had finally settled down, he turned to me and accused me of wasting his time.
This is despite the fact that he had wasted almost an hour of my time prior to "helping" me by having a leisurely chat with his other customers.
Apparently, going to the store to get what a koodo employee had promised is "wasting his time. "

He again insisted that the plan I had been promised was impossible, and that he physically could not give me the deal I was promised.
Having had enough, I went to another koodo booth, the one at promenade.
Within minutes, the employee at promenade spoke to the koodo rep over the phone and was able to give me the plan I was promised from the start.

I went to centerpoint at 9: 30 and left around noon, having completely wasted my time watching a manager throw an incredible temper tantrum in the middle of the mall.

I can only advice that you go to literally any other location than this.
Go to virgin mobile. Go to fido. Go to literally any other koodo store.
They will serve you better than this one did.
The manager in question was a middle aged balding Caucasian man.
If you encounter him, I would suggest leaving and going elsewhere.

Got the best plan. Afshan was able to give me a unbeatable plan $55 for unlimited data for my all four lines we ported over from fido 2 months ago no regret with Telus best decision ever
