Ten Gallon Bar and Grill

Food was very good. We watched band played and staff are friendly. Me and my amigas was our 2nd time coming. It's a good place to experience live bands playing. Last night was Hard Rock experience.

My friend and I wanted to try a new restaurant (for us) for our monthly lunch get together. Ten Gallon Bar & Grill did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend trying this place out. Great food and wonderful service. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Chef/cook came out to our table to inquire if we were pleased with our meal. This was a thoughtful and unexpected gesture.
Would recommend trying the poutine entrees. We had the pulled pork poutine and the buffalo chicken poutine. Both were delicious and filling.
Will definitely be back and recommend this place to our friends. Well done Ten Gallon Bar & Grill.

What happened to their food? Ordered here semi-regularly (few times per year). Was extremely disappointed with how everything I ordered changed. They used to have really good bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers, and their clubhouse was generally pretty fresh. What I got were the skinniest little jalapeno poppers and a clubhouse that tasted like month old turkey on the stalest/chewiest white bread you can get. Sad to see another pub cut corners on their food.

Cosy and nice family oriented club for dancing and chilling.
Service is good and everyone has great attitude. We mostly go here on the nights when they have DJ or live music.

Had a great time, the staff were really great really friendly, this is not a paid review this is actually somebody who watches out for paid reviews!
You got to admit when the birds got free pool and decent prices on drinks, and a good band that you can dance to, where else do you want to go, and for the bartender gentlemen who served me, who the customer says that I look like Sam Elliott

I had an amazing time here I came in to have a couple drinks and the conversation was amazing, the bartenders Arash and Sophie and houssey MADE MY NIGHT!

What a nice friendly restaurant with a new menu and management is proper its very clean and all the items are tasty from what we tryed with my family.

Our server Sarah was so good with the menu and was checking up on us often making sure everything was perfect.

We all know this location has been around a long time. I must say when I saw the new signage go up, I thought something new was happening.
There has been a transfer of ownership and the changes are excellent! New lighting, updated menu, great food, and the new Owner/Manager is very experienced in this field. I'd definitely give them a try if you haven't been lately.

Wow the best bar in newmarket specially New ownership and how Mr Farhad has been managing the restaurant. I'm very impressed how clean and amazing the food is now.

Keep up the amazing work guys and big thank you for Sara being so kind to my kids and her knowledge of food was another level.

The service is great, very friendly and professional. Tried the rib abs wing combo, superb. I hope they keep it up. Will go again.

This place has the potential to be amazing. Sadly, it's not. We went there with about 15-20 people (more for drinks and a couple of apps) and they had ONE server there, for the entire restaurant! One server to do absolutely everything! She was run off of her feet and no one came in to help her. The bathroom while fairly clean, smelled like raw sewage! I wouldn't go back. We felt terribly for her. Do BETTER!

Waited 40 minutes for someone to take our order. It was early evening on st Patrick's day and we figured they were busy setting up. Waited another hour for food to arrive, had to bug waiter who was also bartender. He finally checked on food, which had obviously been hastily reheated as plates were hot. Food was mediocre. Had to go to bar again to ask for bill. Will not return.

My friend and I were quite disappointed. We browsed their website prior to deciding on this place. The happy hour had been canceled due to new ownership, and their choice of wine was very limited.only 1 house wine. The food was good. The server was very nice, but we felt rushed as we were asked several times if we needed the bill after we told her we were in no rush and finishing our drinks. The place was empty.

Rachael Is the absolute best server that weve had the pleasure to have serve us.

Food is very sub par, music was so loud I couldn't hear myself think, and the service was horrible. Sneakers was better tbh.

After attending the most amazing Halloween event, I now have a new favorite bar to attend. I've had such good experiences and fun times at this place.
Food is amazing, i really love the spinach dip. Fast service and I never feel forgotten.
I'm confused with a particular past review here. I have had amazing experiences with Rachael as a server, as well as friends of mine mentioning her great service to me too.
I completely think the other reviewer got the names mixed up.

The staff are absolutely incredible. Kind friendly and fast! Wonderful people. The food is delicious and super fast! Will definitely come back! Drinks cold as ice? Mmmmm lol the atmosphere is classy beautiful and welcoming. If you haven't been there yet.gooooo enjoy a meal a drink and maybe even the band or other events they now have happening. The new manager is doing incredible things.

Lovely service from Bella and great space with air conditioning. The pizza was 15 and very filling. Cider and house beer were nice

Amazing experience and no need to drive to TO to have good homemade bar food and drinks while watching the Blue Jays! The bartender is so nice and knows her stuff! Red Sangria so amazing!

Wow reading these reviews I think I was at a different restaurant. Unfortunately I was not. I visited this restaurant on a Monday evening, food was mediocre at best, service was good till we wanted our bill and we had to ask for it twice. It was not busy 2 tables total so that is not an excuse.

I decided to give it another chance on Sunday (same week) for amazing karaoke with Jay. We were having a wonderful time drinks and music. Server was Tammy, she was amazing. Unfortunately I made the mistake of ordering some appetizers for our table from the bar (only because I was on my way to ladies room). Apparently the bartender (Samantha) does not feel she should have to take another waitresses order. I say this because she was very rude to Tammy so I asked her to apologize. Samantha not only would not apologize but insist I shut up and sit down. When I would not do that she insisted I pay my bill and get out! There was no need for this very disrespectful behaviour so I asked to speak with a manager. She would not provide me with manager or owner name and number. I spoke with a gentlemen from the back of the restaurant and he justified her behaviour than berated my waitress yet again. My waitress gave me the owners name and number, I paid the bill (Not happily) and we cut our evening short.

I called the owner yesterday and have waited over 24 hours with no return call.

Summary I am out over $140 in two visits and feeling very uncomfortable with the way this restaurant is run and how they treat their employees.

I definitely will not be back!

The food is delicious and the atmosphere was terrific. There was 1 server on by 8pm but she was very helpful and courteous.

Ten gallon is always a friendly environment. The new staff is still learning, but doing a great job!

Just have to let everyone know, if you like sweet potato fries.

The customer service is always rapid, great character, very kind employees. I will return again when I arrive in town.

We really like this restaurant and have been there a few times since reopening (went there before COVID as well). Staff are friendly, very clean and the food is very good. Not sure why it’s not busier - they have daily food specials (today I had a 1/2 lb.of chicken fajitas for $11) and drink specials. Steak sandwich is excellent too. Burgers are ok nothing great. Brunch menu on the weekends.

Went to a patio karoake with a couple of friends on Sat, so nice to be actually out for a while, had a good time, distancing, sanitizing etc practiced, everyone singing even had their own cover for the mic. Will come earlier for dinner next time. Good to see a local service business still around.

Historic drinking hole for my generation. Newest incarnation, Ten gallon has heart. Great wait staff, funny and friendly. Decent food, at a good price.

It was my first time eating here. The restaurant is large and nicely decorated. The menu has a good variety of options and everything I ordered was well cooked and tasted great. Their prices are fair so I will definitely return to try more.

Only been there once and that was recently in covid era, didn't particularly loved it.
Flys all over our food, didn't know to swat or eat.

Location and patio have great potential, hopefully they turn it around when all this madness is over and everything is back to normal.

Valentine's Day dinner! Butter chicken was outstanding, Prime rib sandwich was awesome - great nachos too! Service was friendly and efficient. Prices are VERY reasonable! A causal and relaxing dining experience. We will be back!

The new owners have done a wonderful job in changing the atmosphere. The staff is welcoming also, attentive and friendly. The food is reasonably priced as well too enjoyed our experience there and would definitely go back again. Thank you Ten Gallon and bravo.

Just visited tonight with my wife and three of our children. The renovations after taking over from Big Daddy’s look great! Our server was fantastic, very attentive and checked back often to see if we needed anything. All the food was great, from our appetizers, mains and desert.
And the prices were very reasonable.

Understaffed. Surly waiter made everyone aware he was angry at being understaffed. Forty five minutes after ordering and no food in sight we left to go to another restaurant. We will not return until this one goes out if business and another one goes in its place. I dont believe it will take long with this kind of service.
