Ten Sushi

Manager is rude and quick to disregard any request from customers. Treats employees poorly and very rude.

I was craving AYCE sushi and decided to give this lace a try. That was a mistake. The fish was previously frozen and extremely waterlogged, with each bite causing the fish to gush with water. This also altered the texture of the fish to be quite unenjoyable. There were still pinbones in my salmon sashimi, and this happened on 3 seperate pieces. The rice was stale and old, but it improves towards the end of my meal so perhaps they only make a fresh batch halfway through their dinner time? The "grilled beef" was not grilled at all, but looked like it was steamed for perhaps 2 seconds. Completely raw in the middle. Some of the rolls they offered were pathetically thin and have a sliver of fish. Everything tasted watered down, including the soy sauce and Wasabi which is honestly an accomplishment. I would only go here if you are desperate for AYCE and it is nearby.

I have eaten @hockey sushi @168 sushi @new sushi kan in Orleans I think @bank ten sushi. And honestly this is the best ayce in ottawa. Everything tastes great. You gotta come here. Also their roll variety is good. And they have a variety of cooked items

I used to come here often and it was good. I went today and the food was disgusting. The oil they used for the chicken wings and golden rolls smelt and tasted so bad. When I told the waitress she said she couldn’t take them back which I couldn’t understand. They also forgot our drink. Then someone else came to help us and didn’t apologize or anything. They just charged us without saying a word. It was also so overpriced. Never going back…

Portions are extremely small compared to other Sushi places. I’ve been to Japan and although I am not comparing to two, it’s most certainly the maki rolls and sashimi are way too small for the price I paid (112 CAD). Never again would I go or order from them again.

Food was fresh and prompt to arrive. Taste was very good as well. Staff were friendly and efficient. We will be going back.

I ordered a chicken teriyaki. Look what I got. The food isn t even fully cooked. This is disrespectful we paid $15 for this. I ll never go back. You lost a client

I was disappointed when I found out they don’t have a lunch price. It’s dinner price only for all you can eat ($36). That’s quite steep in my opinion, so I ordered à la carte instead. Plenty of food for $20. Definitely a smarter financial move since I can’t eat enough to make it worth $36…
I rate the sushi quality 3/5. Nothing mind blowing but still satisfies a craving. Service was good. Probably won’t be back.

Great sushi spot really good quality lately. Order the eggplant and you won't be disappointed haha.

We have been going to this location since 2016. They’re always concerned about leftovers even if it’s just a bit of noodles or a small amount of chicken. TODAY the tall guy with the white hat was SUPER RUDE. He called us “weird” for not finishing our food. He assumed our race. He said he’s been to the Middle East and Algeria and we’re the weirdest he has seen. Even tho I might be from Zanzibar. He said 2 times “don’t come here again” we tried to tell him to get us the manager. He was YELLING at us in front of other customer. He was forcing us to either pay or eat (literally just 2 noodles and 1 chicken bite) He said if you can find him good for you. Guess what? We found him. The manager apologized.didn’t really do anything but he was not rude.

This location (2300 City Park Drive, Ottawa). I arrived at 3: 25PM to have a nice quite dinner, just myself. I entered this establishment at a quiet hour thinking I would get good service. I was not greated as a guested. I was asked to take a seat at the window by a tall man with glasses sweeping the floor holding the broom so I took myself to my table. I waited 5 minutes and the same tall came to my table handed me a small tablet and asked me if I want to drink something, I said yes please "diet coke" he then walked away leaving me to figure out the how to. In the entire 1hr, no one came over to my table to ask how was the food, if I needed anything (water, soft drink, etc), nothing however the tables with more than one person there was always someone in this restaurant asking if everything was OK and if they needed anything else. Not my table. I will not return here or recommend this particular place, not because of the food but because of the awful service. If I am walking in a restaurant and told how much I have to pay to eat in this place by the tall man with glasses holding the broom in his hands wnere I was not served as a paying customer and have to pay 20% for a tip for good service which it was terrible. I asked the tall man with glasses politely why no one including him did not come to my table to see if I need anything or how was the food or do I need a napkin where he laughed at me, walked away and returned to my table throwing a napkin on my table and saying to me "ANYTHING ELSE". I just answered and said "NO THANK YOU" and he waked away. It cost me $38.97 and was treated terribly. I started writing this at 3: 45PM and finished at 4: 59PM. Til now the only person who walked by was the manager watching write this post, knowing how his staff treated me and said nothing. I cannot recommend this place. There are others in Ottawa where you pay what ever the cost but the food and service is exception. I like to pay for both.

I did not even risk asking for a second order, I just paid the bill and left.

All you can eat buffet at a reasonable price. All food is ordered on a tablet at your table and comes from the kitchen fairly quickly.

The food is one of the best open sushi in Ottawa. But it doesn't mean it's perfect.
Now the service was terrible and the servers were rude.

A few pros and cons to this place.

Pros include quality sushi, which has a thinner layer of rice than you’d typically find on other sushi. This makes it so that you’re able to taste everything inside the roll, and you even get a little bit of crunch from the seaweed. The general taos chicken was also quite good.

Now I have a few cons. Customer service wasn’t quite there. It was actually difficult to flag down a waiter/waitress and they seemed uninterested in explaining how things work or what things were. The atmosphere was very loud with people walking around everywhere, so I wouldn’t recommend this place for a date. I find the price a little bit more expensive than other sushi restaurants in Ottawa as well.

The conclusion… it was okay. I didn’t mind it, but there are definitely better places out there.

The food was good but the service was very bad and I didn’t like how the service was confusing us about how big or small the food of the planet will be and the other one was like don’t order rice anymore like who tell the customers not to order rice mean well it us paying for the food and them making more money

Très belle expérience, le serveur était super et drôle en même temps. C'étais la fête de ma fille et on lui a demandé si il chantait bonne fête.il a dit oui moyennant 50$ en joke c'était très drôle.mais au final il a apporté un petit gâteau et a vraiment chanter bonne fête.c'était magique comme moment.les sushi était délicieux les autres plats du menu aussi.c'est cher mais nous étions 5 et nous avons manger plus que notre part de plats alors ça vaux le prix pour des plats illimité.
