Staff were very helpful. Had our cake in the fridge. Nice Birthday music when It was time for the cake.
Sushi and Rolls were fresh.
Service was very fast.
The restaurant was very clean.

All day dinner isn't a thing.

This location is far better in my view than the Blair location. The restaurant itself is very nice with high booths and a nice quiet atmosphere.

Sushi was generally fast and we got what we ordered. Quality was okay, with some instances of questionable decisions. Service was great and staff were nice.

Out of principle, I can't give Ten Sushi more than 3 stars. Their pricing model changed due to COVID-19 and they've went with "all day dinner". That simply doesn't/shouldn't exist as a concept. Just call it: all day pricing, fixed price buffet, $32.99 all day menu, or inflation is tough pay us more.

I think what will happen is customers will either a) never come for lunch because there isn't enough incentive to do that or b) not come as often (or at all) given sushi was once a cheap lunch-type meal.

Never in my life have I been ushered and border line forced out of a restaurant while still eating the food that I paid for. They came 15min before closing and insisted everyone pay and gladly took payment while we were eating. Two separate employees came up to our table within 1 minute of each other to announce that they were now closed, once again while we were trying to finish the food we paid for. The restaurant closed at 9: 30pm and we walked out at 9: 32pm. Horrible service, complete lack of hospitality, and poor behaviour. Will never go back. Spend your money elsewhere.

I love their food but staff is not that nice! The place gets quite busy specially during the day. They have an all you can eat buffet!

They got our order wrong on two separate occasions, forgetting the pricier items both times. Will never order here again.

This is what three orders of sashimi and ten orders of salmon sushi looks like.

And this is the second time they didn't provide any soy sauce and wasabi, even though we included clear instructions in the order.

What a mess.

My go to for AYCE sushi in Ottawa. Food is fresh, good portions and exactly as pictured.

I prefer the method used here to order via Ipad so I can see what items look like, what ive ordered and can gauge what hasn't arrived yet.

One star docked for staff not being the quickest or most attentive, but thats to be expected at a busy restaurant I guess. Overall, still a great experience with good value so I keep coming back.

My visit during COVID was horrible. It's like they don't really care about you having a good experience. They rush you to order, and don't give complete answers to your questions. How hard is it to give your costumer an estimate on when the order will be ready? Perhaps also have a buzzer system or text service to say when the order is ready for pickup instead of the costumer having to check in every 10 minutes to see if its ready or not.

They asked me to pay cash for a discount, which is also stated on their takeout menu and signs and proceeded to charge me the full amount without explanation on why. When I brought up the change, they made excuses pointing to text that had nothing to do with it, free delivery over $_ amount.honestly, just be upfront and honest from the get go.

Decent sushi. Ordered take out with Uber eats. If you have any special instructions or food allergies call them after you order through delivery service to be safe!

If you are looking for all you can eat sushi place. Try ten sushi the food quality is good. Prices are comparable to other places. It is busy most day but worth it. I haven’t tried it in corona times so I can’t give any info about that. The parking is an issue. They don’t clean their bathrooms as much as they should. The service might not be fast if it is super busy. Other than that a good place to try.

Leaving a review so I remember not to order from here again. Honestly I was just really unimpressed by the taste of the all the rolls and sushi in general. I had 30% off with Uber but even then I wouldn't order again.

Glad to see a local restaurant so busy during the pandemic. Despite the fact that they were so busy our order was prepared timely and the quality of the sushi was amazing. Probably the best take out sushi we've had in Ottawa.

I called them by phone before arriving and they said it's not busy and they have plenty of tables. When I arrived 30 minutes later, they said it's an hour wait? Why lie to me on the phone if there's a wait. Absolutely unacceptable.

The service and selection can't be beat. During covid they are only serving the dinner menu (even during lunch times), but that might be a good thing if you want the special items.

I ordered for via Uber eats for a pick up after my shift at work (730-8pm).
Got a notification that my order was ready for pick up at 708pm.
When I got there at 738pm, I asked the worker at the take out counter if my order was left under the heater and the raw fish kept fresh since it’s been ready. The worker stated all the food on the table were made within the last 15 mins. I proceeded to show him my Uber eats order and the screenshots I took of when I got notification of my order being ready and he proceeded to cut me off saying “it’s fresh it’s fresh. I got your order on the table 10 mins ago”. I brought up the concern that I had hot foods and sashimi in my order so I wanted to make sure the order wasn’t sitting there for half an hour. The worker again, told me my order was made fresh and that it was done “10-15 mins ago”. He shows my me receipt with the 730pm pick up note.
It was getting busy for the take out line so I picked up my order and left with it.

The order was NOT fresh as he said. My rolls with tempura were soggy and the heat warmed up the raw fish in the other rolls. The combo set I got with tempura was also luke warm, with the tempura veggies being limp and soggy as well. My order for general Tao was luke warm and soggy too with lots of batter pieces.

Overall not impressed with the quality of food and with the customer service I received.
I’d be cautious ordering take out from here if they’re not going to follow scheduled pick up times and just going to pre-make the food and let it sit then claim “it’s made fresh”.

A bit too expensive for what you get. The sushi, sashimi and the rolls are good. The meat dishes and other dishes are not so good.

Ordered $45 worth of food from skip the dishes.
They delivered a $18 order from uber eats.
It took 40 mins for them to deliver the wrong order when we live within a 5 minute drive from the restaurant.

Called restaurant to rectify issue. They could not speak enough English to understand how to spell out address even though all of the appropriate information was on the receipt.

After waiting an additional 45 minutes for correct order, the food was cold.

WOULD NOT Recommend!

The sushi was good and the service was okay. I really would like if they had cheese wontons on the menu and the pad thai did not taste good.

The all you can eat is with fresh and delicious food, with place for parking. The orders come fast because everything is only, so we don't need to wait much. I really appreciated and recommend it.

This place is a hit and miss which makes it very hard to accurately review. I have been there several times and I would say 70% of the times I would be satisfied with the food and service. I think it is pricy for the quality of food you get but other than that it does offer a good variety.

The first two times i came here i had an enjoyable experience. The last time i was here i brought my neice for a unique experience. They sat us way off in the corner by a rolling table of trays.i never had the same waiter twice. And had to wait an unusually long time for our drinks to come as well as the other entree items we ordered were forgotten. Maybe it was just an off night. It happens.

It's expensive, but if you can afford it then it's one of the best restaurants I've been to in Ottawa. The food is amazing and the ordering system is smooth and kind of fun. It gets super busy Friday nights as most places do but don't let that tun you away, it's worth it

Fast service. Like, "are you sure these aren't premade? "-fast. Great nigiri, good rolls and Chinese items, OK meat items. Really good dimsum. Priced ok too. Will come back.

Food is decent, but service is AWFUL! I HAVE 3 INCIDENTS HERE! The first incident, I had ordered a bunch of sushi with friends and asked for some spicy mayo, IT NEVER CAME! I asked three different servers for it and waited and waited, when I told my server about this and how I didn’t wanna pay for my meal because I refuse to eat sushi withought the spicy mayo, and my sushi had gone cold/ bad just sitting out on the table for nearly 45 mins (still had to pay)! Secondly, Went here for my bday party and everybody paid separately, this caused SUCH a big mess and was so disorganized! And the last time EVER, i should have learned my lesson from the first couple times, but didn’t, I went again with my girlfriend and they tried to overcharge me for food that wasn’t eaten! WORST SUSHI SPOT IN OTTAWA! Save yourself and just go to 168 sushi, never an issue there

My absolute FAVOURITE place to eat sushi in Ottawa. The food is always amazing (I’ve been there at least 20 times). The customer service is definitely lacking (barely english, sort of rude) but the food quality definitely offsets that. I recommend you come and try the food!

Worst staff experience.
Gave us wrong order (2 pieces of fried banana) and told us “it’s ok just leave it there”, in the end telling us “you guys wasted a lot”,
In total
: 2 pieces of rolls (really not tasty) and 2 pieces of fried banana (not supposed to be ours)

I mean come on, I feel that they even expect us to finish off the wasabi.
Totally ruined my dinner in the end

The food at Ten Sushi was, for the most part, acceptable but the service is despicable.

Unfortunately, we received one item that was well past its fresh date. When I raised the concern with the server, I was told that if we didn't eat it we would be charged extra. When the manager was called, she and the server had a discussion (in Mandarin) about how we were lying to avoid having to eat 2 pieces of eel. Their tone changed very quickly when I entered the conversation in Mandarin.

Expecting people to eat spoiled food and using exploitive tactics is extremely unsavory. Will not be back and may report to Ottawa food inspectors.

I'm vegetarian and I love going here.they have plenty of vegetarian sushi and I haven't had to wait for more than 2 minutes to be seated. I love going for lunch because I feel the kitchen isn't too busy to make rolls that might fall apart because of their rush. The workers are super efficient and quick. They might sometimes forget water refills but only when super busy - I can forgive that because we're human. I just simply remind them and they're on it.

Absolutely horrible staff.we come here once a month and usually don't have any problems. But the last time we went and had something to complain about, we got treated like garbage! So I guess this place is fine as long as they don't mess up, but once they do then they won't take responsibility for their actions, they will blame it on you! Found the waitress' hair in our food, when we complained, they said it wasn't them and had to be us.called the manager over and they started speaking in Japanese in front of us, then the manager sided with the waitress.after all this we found out that she wasn't even the manager, she just said she was! They also wanted to charge us for the sushi because we refused to eat it! We said we will pay as long as we get an apology for the service, we didn't get the apology but we paid for it anyways, left and are never going back! Food is okay for an all you can eat.quality has gone down significantly in the past year and I imagine will continue to do so.do yourself a favour and find another spot because you're rolling dice on whether they're having a good day or not.

Decent all you can eat Japanese restaurant. Wish the staff could speak better English though. We went for lunch a couple weeks ago and were told we'd have to wait 20mins for anything cooked. Found that a little strange as we've been to this place a few times and never did we have to wait so long for cooked food.

We use to come here often for buffet, but just yesterday we revisited this place for sushi, and to our surprise our server was the worst because she was so rude and awkward. She keeps looking us while we eat and she keeps talking out loud randomly. If i can give a negative a star it would be -50 for the service. AWFUL SERVICE! WE WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE!

Poor customer service. Call early afternoon to reserve the table close to the window but the person who answered the phone refuses to book a table for us because he said there are plenty of table. Well, end up a table close to the door so we left and going to a different sushi buffet.

Quite tasty but it was hot as hell and the servers weren't particularly kindly. Also there was a massive soapy spill in the bathroom which nobody dealt with despite my suggestion. I did however have a most interesting and novel dance with the aforementioned soap.

Sushi is always tasty and fresh, only complaint is most of the servers are rude and don't want to be there, of course there are exceptions. Oh and sometimes they send your food to another table.

This is one of the most consistent all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurants in Ottawa. Don't expect to get high class service and food, the sushi is usually good and fresh. The place gets packed during the day, and at night.

For those who do not eat seafood, then there are other things on the menu. Their steak is good, and other things on the menu are good too.

You need to finish everything on your plate, and if you don't, then they will charge you the full price for that one order.

The waiters and waitresses are extremely busy, and they will forget orders or forget to refill your drinks. Don't cry over it because it happens, not all the time.

It is roughly $18 to eat there (not including gratuity). The lunch/brunch service starts at 11: 00 a.m. And ends at 3: 30 p.m.

Stingy with the fish and veggies in the rolls (only a sliver), looked like avocado paste rather then an actual avocado was used. The green tea was just hot water and tasted soapy. The eggplant teriyaki was not teriyaki they used some other sauce that was too salty and white that was not teriyaki at all, I had to ask them to replace it without the sauce. I ordered crispy rolls but it was soggy and lacking in filling. The little bit of salmon used in the salmon and avocado roll was stringy and chewy, had difficulty to chew and just a tiny sliver of avocado. First and last visit

Lunch menu was great and not to expensive. If you love sushi, you will love this place. Only thing is they do not accept debit cards and that is why I only give 4 stars.

Was in for dinner Monday September 17.
It was the worst food we have eaten there.
The spring rolls were oily and tasteless, sushi rolls fell apart and mussy, tampura also oily, not crunching.
Will Not waste time or money at Ten Sushi Japanese Restaurant on Bank St.
