I really like this place, I love the vibe and the decor and the trivia night in Fridays is a lot of fun! Haven’t tried the food but the coffee is pretty good. Plus the Sadie Beans ice cream is super yummy!
The shop had an appealing appearance, but unfortunately, the service fell short (I was ignored), and the iced tea was excessively expensive and very subpar. Didn't make me want to return.
Friendly staff, dog friendly establishment, awesome music and decor.they have a few craft beers on tap.love this place.so glad you moved into our neighborhood
I LOVE Ten Toes. I love the atmosphere, I love the home made and healthy food and I love how friendly the staff are. Everything you want and need in a coffee shop!
I’m so happy that Ten Toes opened a location on Somerset! The space is quiet and comfortable, and the drinks are amazing. A great selection of coffees, drinks, and food plus a cute outdoor section, this location is a must visit if you’re around Chinatown!
This place e is amazing. The decor is very 'Brooklyn-esque'. Food was good. Coffee decent. Amazing service. It also sells clothes and you can do laundry! And they have books!
Amazing atmosphere (you don't hear the laundry). Good food and some of my favourite coffee in Ottawa. Try to snag one of the comfy chairs by the windows.
Ten Toes is a coffee shop and laundromat on the corner of Somerset and Rochester in Ottawa. It serves coffee, pastries and some food. I saw a sign advertising the day's soup. It has beer on tap and a laundromat in the back. They bake all their own pastries and bread in the basement bakery.
The 60s and early 70s music had a Boomer vibe - Rod Stewart, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Janice Joplin. On one wall, there was a dusty, antique jute box (not a Wurlitzer). Devoid of 45s, it appeared to be decoration only.
I had a decaf expresso that was a little too bitter for my taste. However the gluten free muffin was worth the 5 star rating all by itself. It was an excellent muffin and one of the best gluten free I have ever had. Next time I am in Ottawa, I am going to see if I can pick up a half dozen.
Great coffee, awesome beer, chill vibe, love the vintage decor, and cool vintage clothing. Super friendly staff. Really happy to have them in the neighborhood.
Great coffee shop added to the neighbourhood! Love the style of the place! Pulls a delicious espresso. They also have a laundry machines in the back - such a great idea.
My go-to space as of late – love the staff, love the atmosphere, love the food/drinks. Especially today, their daily soup special was AMAZING 10/10 will toetally go again (and again.and again.)
Coolest coffee machine I’ve seen in a while. Very tasty cappuccino and a place I would go back to again just off Preston in China town. If I was allowed to do laundry I’d go there too.
It certainly looks nice. I only go here but it is the closest laundromat to my house. Access to food and drink while you wait is nice. The coffee is only okay, but the beer selection is vast and reasonably priced. Service is mediocre and it is very difficult to find a clean table, even when it is not busy. I have witnessed plates sit for hours… The washing machines used to run for longer, like an hour and 15 minutes, versus now, when it may not even be an hour, and I notice this difference not only in time, but my clothes used to come out much cleaner. For 3 dollars, I think a clean machine is not unreasonable, and I definitely feel cheated that this business has shortened washing times and dirty machines.
If they are trying so hard to curate a chic and pleasant environment, then I think the laundry aspect should be nice as well.
