Unbelievable disgusting owner!

Booked the court yesterday and got an email 5 hours today before the scheduled court time canceling our booking.
After not answering my call few times I blocked my number and then he answered saying “ electric issues “, no sorry no care in the world, yea right! After telling owner I booked babysitter and other arrangements to be available to play he just hung up on me!

Stay away from people and businesses like this it will ruin your whole experience.
More like Dennis the menace!

Disappointing first experience!

I scheduled my time and was looking forward to play some tennis, not expecting
Our SCHEDULED court time to be cancelled last minute! While I understand things happen but last minute cancellation with no phone call, no email, nothing. Just left us hanging in the air with no care about our time! I guess that’s how Dennis with tennis does business with no members!

There are plenty of other tennis courts to rent out there, I don’t recommend to take a risk and waste your time with an unreliable person like the Dennis!

Amazing place, I learned a lot from this club. I joined Tennis By Dennis not knowing how to play or the right technique, Dennis helped me and improved my game incredibly. I recommend this club for any parents that are looking to get their child into tennis.

I was trying to take my 5 year old daughter for a test class to see if its something she even likes before I am committing financially to registering her. Apparently my only option is to spend $125 for an evaluation which will not even tell me if she actually likes the class or not. Either that, or register her for a term. Such a deterrent, instead of being accessible and encouraging parents to have their children try and potential gain more clients.

My son Matthew has be trained in the swing school for 3 years and make huge progress from zero with tennis. Coaches here are very talented and with kind. School facility is very good and clean. Dennis always try his best to satisfy the requirements from students and their family. I highly recommend the parents to send their kids to the swing school with tennis training.

Thoughtful and caring owner that instils discipline and hard work in our kids. Dennis’s passion for coaching is obvious. Would recommend this club to parents that respect these attributes.

Parents need to be more mindful of the people they allow to mentor your kids.

You do not want your kids looking up to this guy! They will learn poor sportsmanship, poor social skills, pathetic attitude.and how to play sloppy tennis I guess.

GO ELSEWHERE, don't send your kids here! Stole our money.

We registered our 2 kids for summer camp. Covid happened and everything was shut down. Every other camp we enrolled them in, were wonderful and refunded our money given the circumstances. Dennis said that he has bills to pay and couldn't offer refunds, but said he would be giving a credit. My wife tried to book private lessons to use the credit, but Dennis kept ignoring her. Eventually after MANY calls and texts, we booked a few sessions. Sadly, instead of applying the credit, he charged the credit card you are forced to provide when booking a lesson. Eventually he resumed ignoring our booking attempts.

Obviously when Covid is over, we will be finding another tennis school for our kids. We know a number of other people that Dennis has done this to
as well. If he is willing to treat customers this way, I worry about how he will treat the kids that are left in his care for camp or lessons. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere more honest.

Dennis is an excellent tennis coach and the facilities are great for kids to learn the game. He has a true passion for the game and the success his students have achieved is evidence that he is doing a great job teaching the game of tennis.

This school does not focus on technique. The owner seems more interested in making money from his students than actually teaching them the right technique. There are NO make -up classes at all even though we all know that kids do get sick at times. Other tennis schools offer 3 make up classes. Also notice that Dennis asks parents to write a positive review about the school and in turn he will honour last year's price which is a lot lower than this coming year's. Dennis will push for private lessons, special equipment (which he sells), weekly mini-tournaments (for which you have to pay $50) so that he can make more money off his students. Not impressed as it is blatantly greedy behaviour.

The Covid-19 Lock down really shows the owner's true colour. As a customer, I understand the struggle during this difficult time, but it doesn't mean that we need to pay for the service which we never get. Very rude reply and refuse to handle any questions regarding refund. This attitude won't take this business any further.

Waste of Money, owner refused to refund any of my money even the class was cancelled by owner himself.

Honestly I am very much impressed on how clean Dennis and his team are maintaining this indoor gym space when I visited here today. Hope Dennis and his indoor gym can overcome this unprecedented pandemic situation so our family and friends can continue to entertain ourselves again in such great place playing tennis, ping pong and basketball etc. Best team and place in our town for sure!

I cannot comment on the quality of the program as due to covid we cancelled our registration. However I would like to thank Dennis for the good customer service we received even during those difficult times.

The worst after school program I have ever had the disappointment of experiencing. The owner is completely unprofessional and rude. Once the Covid-19 lockdown started his attitude, threats and offensive emails just started pouring in and would not stop until he forced people to give up on thousands of dollars of untaught lessons. All the while complaining about how much he's struggling.

The teachers here are very professional, nice and patient. My daughter loves theire classes and defenitely improves her tennis skills.

So good to be hitting again! Dennis, thank you for all the attention, care and work you put into ensuring safety and enjoyment for all! The facilities are spotless and couldn't ask for a more well thought out safety protocol. Distancing works perfectly by using two exits, so players arriving and leaving don't cross paths! Feels 100% safe!
With 2 months off, I was ready to go "all out" on the first day back. Not surprising. So on a personal note, Dennis, I really appreciate your professional judgement and methods of maximizing lessons while still curbing overzealous enthusiasm to prevent possible injury! Best coaching possible!

Great coaches and nice facility! My both daughters have been learning tennis here for over half a year. They love it and want to keep coming back!

The facility is super amazing! Coaches are great! Our son cannot wait to go to class every week for the fun and joy of learning the skills and the game!

My daughter has been going to Tennis by Dennis for almost 3 years now. She loves to go - she has a great relationship with all the wonderful and talented coaches. Dennis has a lot of knowledge and provides us with tips and strategies we can do at home as well. She has gone from an average player to a player who now competes at future star tournaments.

This school does not focus at all on proper tennis technique, all they do is feed balls and do not correct at all how kids should be striking the tennis balls. Kids continue to hit balls without the proper technique and develop poor form that will become very hard to correct in the future. Look elsewhere not recommended.

Nice coaching staff and flexible timetable, also have good opportunity for kids to explore tournament in their level group to gain experience, especially confidence. My twin daughters are really enjoyed playing at Tennis by Dennis last season and will continue to do so. Thanks to Dennis and all the coaches.

My 6yo son looks forward to his tennis class every week. I love the well-balanced combination of physical training and tennis technique. The coaches are professional, caring and truly understand how to work with the small kids, the management is very attentive and accommodating. Thank you Dennis and we are looking forward to the new season!

This is a great tennis school- the teachers are super friendly and are always. Dry attentive with the students. My son loves coming here and have been for over a year!

My daughter has been taking lessons for about a year and she has already made significant progress. Instructors are excellent and patient with all the kids regardless of their individual skill levels, but demanding enough to ensure each child continues to progress from week to week. Each lesson is well paced between the fitness and tennis to keep the kids engaged for the duration of the lesson. We would not hesitate to recommend Tennis by Dennis to anyone looking to get their children involved in tennis.

My 5 years old son Matthew has joined red ball class for one year. Now, he can play rally with me at club courts and very enjoy playing tennis. I will appreciate coach Don in Dennis school for his passion and experience in tennis training and patience with all kids in his class. I think he is the best children tennis class coach I have met.

My daughter goes to Tennis by Dennis. It’s a great school to send your kids if you want them to learn how to play tennis seriously. They learn to be focused and disciplined while still have fun. Tennis by Dennis also features a fitness component to the training, so the students develop endurance and train to become athletes! Great school.

My child has been playing for 4 years and has made significant improvement. He could not hit a ball when he first started and now with the help of great Coaches is able to understand the game of tennis and have the passion to play.

Good coaches, consistent practices. They do fitness as well. My daughter has been enjoying it and has improved quite a bit.

I highly recommend Tennis by Dennis! The coaches are experienced and very dedicated. Their fitness program is a great addition to the tennis program, and brings it to the next level. The camps are also really well run and the facility is super clean. Kids really enjoy coming here. We are very happy to have found this school!
