Tenon Vegan Sushi

I love this place, everything I’ve ordered has been delicious. I come here weekly. Highly recommend! For vegans and non vegans alike. My non vegan family loved it.

This place is my recent favourite! I just love their broccoli sushi! Everything is vegan here. Must try for all vegetarians or vegans.

My Tao-Dan Tufo had just enough kick to be spicy. Eggplant Thai roll was delicious, and bean curd avocado was a perfect way to end my meal. Can't wait to go back. Service was fast, knowledgeable, and clean presentation.excellent!

I visited this place for the first time, the sushi is okayish and Karaage chicken is simply chicken nuggets, lol never seen that one before.

Everything from here is delicious and well crafted. The menu has many creative options that are sure to make your mouth water. As a vegan, it was so wonderful to have this many options to choose from. My omnivore partner also enjoyed every single thing we ordered. We will be back and cannot recommend Tenon Vegan Sushi enough!

This is such a great place for vegan sushi. Lots of options, very well presented and tastes great!

Delicious! The staff didn’t really interact much, but the amount of sushi I had ordered was more than enough for 4 mouths for a really fair price!

So many great vegan sushi choices and couple Thai dishes, I tried few other vegan sushi and they don't come close. Vancouver, queen, Montreal, California and spicy Salmon are our go to. Outside of cooking this is top notch WFPB meal

Really enjoyed this place! The food was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the Tom Kha soup and the three maki rolls that we got. The artificial meats are good and really hit the spot! I would definitely come back here again, and I highly recommend it for a vegan sushi and Thai food option. The price point is a little high in my opinion—the food pictured was about $70 before tax and tip—but again, very good food!

This place has the most magically delicious vegan sushi. It was so good, we went twice in one week vacation to Toronto.

We tried 7 rolls and throughly enjoyed them all. Beautiful flavor combinations. Loved the use of mint and crispy bits on top. This is a must stop for those on a vegan tour of Toronto.

Great option for people who like sushi but don’t eat meat. Staff was friendly and service was quick.

I heard very good things about this restaurant and was super excited to try a new vegan option as we have nothing like this in my city!

We were a party of 3 and ordered dumplings, shrimp/vegetable tempura, and sushi combo C.

We went arrived around 5: 30 and the restaurant wasn’t too busy at that point but we noticed as time went on that Uber/skip drivers were waiting a long time for their orders.

I believe because of this the dine in experience was compromised and our dishes didn’t come in a timely manner and were forgotten about. Other table were experiencing the same thing.

After 20 minutes we got our dumplings and after another 20 we got our tempura. After another 15 we got the wrong sushi combo - we didn’t want to mess up someone else’s order as they were slammed so we sent it back and asked for the correct combo. They never brought it and we waited another 20 minutes for it. The served never engaged with us after that and eventually we had to leave. They seemed relieved we were leaving.

As one food industry person to the next - if your skip orders are overwhelming your staff you can turn them off until you are caught up! This was your take out and dine in service are not hurting.

2 stars because what we did get was SO good.

Hopefully they get more staff on for dinner rushes.

Came here because of the great reviews on Google, as my first time visiting a vegan sushi restaurant. I ordered two different rolls and they were both quite good. However, the restaurant itself felt like it could use some updates in furnishing as well as having better clealiness. We were the only table eating there at the time and the ambiance & the owner/server felt rather cold and disinterested. There was not much of a welcoming and we were just given a pen & paper to write down our orders, and then the food was served with not much being said, which is service in the most bare-boned fashion. Unfortunately, it did not make for a very enjoyable overall experience.

If I could, I would give this place Negative Stars.
Food should be made with Love and attention and willingness.
Tenon Vegan Sushi Lacked All 3!

To start with the most inhospitable service. The Servers are just waiting to close the restaurant and leave. Most Unwelcoming!

We reached at 9: 20pm still 40 minutes before closing time.
The server dumped the menus and a tiny scrap of paper and pen for us to write down our orders. They didn’t even pretend to be Intrested in serving from the start.

They fished out the Miso soup within minutes which was Luke warm and tasted stale.
The satay dumplings came next which was also cold sauce splashed over the dumplings.
The rolls were made in a hurry too and the rice over cooked and thick, making the sushi just taste like boiled bland cold starchy lump.
Lastly the sushi pizza came which was still oozing out the excess oil from deep frying.
Overall a waste of food resources and money.
The attitude of the server was rude and at 9: 45 pm he was asking us to pack the food.
Which made us feel so insulted.
When asked to speak to the manager the server said not to complain as he shall loose his job.
I’m reeling with shock at this Vegan sushi place as it’s Owners lack the most important thing about the food industry which is Service.
I would never ever go back again.
Food should be cooked with Love and attention and not frustration and unwillingness, I do repeat this as it’s the most important aspect of a restaurant.

I’m writing a very detailed review as I hope that the management/ owners do respond and make amends in improving their service and quality.
I am always very supportive of vegan restaurants and it’s a shame this one is downright unprofessional.

Delicious vegan sushi at a good price. The taste is so good that even non vegans will enjoy it.

While I am not vegan, I hosted some friends who are and we ordered from Tenon on a whim. Not only were they pleased, but so was I. I was surprised how tasty the “salmon” and “shrimp” were, and also enjoyed the “beef” skewers.

The texture of the faux meats and fishes were fantastic, and overall the rolls were tasty. I can see myself ordering from them again. Oddly enough, the weakest roll of the bunch was the sweat potato. Not bad, but not great, either.

This is my absolute favourite sushi place in Toronto! I order here at least once a week and it's always amazing! I order Sushi Combo A and substitute the rainbow roll for the yam tempura roll. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating, it's a must try!

Excellent sushi! Reasonable prices for what you get. Go in person if you can, much better fresh than ordered in. They’re also very fast at preparing it. Get the queen roll and spicy broccoli.
