A few months ago I brought in my strat to get a new setup as I was having issues with the intonation and tuning, and couldn’t be happier that I made the decision to go to Jovan. He is a true professional, and offers a very tailored service to get your guitar playing the best for your style. After speaking with him about what type of playing I would be doing, he gave me a couple options for how he could set it up. I talked about how I like to play some funkier riffs (red hot chili peppers type stuff), but ultimately went with an action that isn’t too low so I can still get clean tones while recording and playing other styles. Definitely recommend going here to anyone who wants the best quality service for their instrument. I went to TEO Musical Instruments Studio to fix the bridge of my guitars, and Jovan did an AMAZING work on them! He is very professional and treats the instruments with lots of kindness and care. I had been looking for a luthier to properly fix my HD28 Martin as it was buzzing and was hard to play. I found Jovan on the internet and arranged a meeting with him. Because of extensive work done previously on this guitar Jovan was able to eliminate unnecessary work. He told me that he would like to humidify over a 1 week period telling me that there were no promises. After a week went by he called me to tell me that my guitar was ready to be picked up. Jovan had done a great job on fixing my Martin. There was no more buzz anywhere on the guitar plus it felt and sounded great. Jovan is a very gifted luthier he also recommended proper upkeep to be able to enjoy playing this guitar. I will be returning to Jovan as I have other projects that I would definitely want him to do.

Jovan is a true expert luthier. I hired him to work on my bass guitar, which had a persistent fret buzz problem due to a warp in the neck. He took care of the issue completely, and gave me a wonderful setup. He's incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in working with all types of guitars, and his level of ability is far beyond what you will find from a guitar technician in a music store. In fact, Jovan fixed the work from a guitar tech who had worked on my guitar unsuccessfully right before I brought it to him.

Bottom line, hire Jovan for all your guitar setup needs or intonation problems. He's a rare find these days. Friendly, professional and absolutely qualified in skill and ability to make your guitar better than ever and bring out its full potential.
