Tepperman's Chatham

Horrible place to deal with. We have purchased a lot of items over the years. Fridges, stoves, couches, mattress, washer, dryer. Never once missed a payment and have even sometimes made larger payments than needed. Now all of a sudden I am not good enough to buy there. Well I guess I take my business elsewhere.

I had a great experience at the store.
My sales rep. Was awesome, friendly and pointed out other deals i may be interested in.she had my purchases wrapped. Then brought me to an amazing customer service young lady who took my payment and helped me with my purchases to my car. She told be to come back to her location for further help. She offered my my salesreps business card, but i told her my rep already gave me one. I only came in for my VIP gift but ended up purchasing 5 items. I love Teppermans. Thev5 times ive been to this location, i have encountered amazing ladies. Thanks

Worst experience…never send anyone there to purchase anything.brought sofa recliner for 6900$ for one year before and warranty for 5 years.after 9 months sofa recliner broken and try to call the customer care for last 3 months no reply or no answer.for reference sales order no. 554505051.pls never go their to purchase anything.now I don’t know how to fix my recliner. No one should buy any products from there. I am so worried about this.

Don't believe a word the salesmen/women tell you. Especially with appliances, it's all garbage, lemons and don't sign anything stating no damages were done if getting delivered. When the 3 men Delivered our washer and dryer they damaged our brand new laundry room floor and lighting. Teppermans took no responsibility and I have to live with the damages. We paid for assembly and the fridge Wasn't properly Assembled. Not to mention the attitude, grumpy from delivery men even though I was so courteous to them. You expect better when they are inside your home. 1 guy was cool, the rest I feel bad he had to work with the others.

It was a pleasure dealing with Al. He was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I shopped around looking at different competitors and product and purchased from Tepperman because of the service I received.

Went in looking for a bed and walked out with a complete bedroom set. Fantastic service and great prices. No pressure and very helpful staff. Will be going back.

It was ok price was ok salesman was ok hope the service is going to be okay. But the product that they del is a hole lot different on delivery stuff is not wrapped or boxed and dose not work and force you to keep it and Customer Service is aggressive purchase in Oct and still have the furniture that dosen't work all I wanted is wat I paid for is working stuff not aggravation thanks good job selling Dan D

Went in to buy a new TV. The 55" version wasn't in stock in Chatham but the 58" version was for the same price

Had an amazing experience shopping for a new dryer. The Sales person, Al Morency was so helpful! I purchase all my furniture and appliances at Tepperman's and never had a bad experience. Thank you and I will definitely be back. ️

Horrible delivery experience. After receiving an automated call advising I would receive follow up with my delivery window a call was not received. I followed up with Tepperman’s, after paying for the order in full, waiting over 3 weeks for delivery and paying extra to have old mattresses removed I was advised that the order was mistakenly put for customer pick up. At the time of ordering was advised that it was free delivery due to the mattresses purchased. After waiting 3 hours for a callback was told that I could either come and pick it up, pay $90 delivery fee or they could ship the items back to London to have them delivered free of charge from that location. There was absolutely no offer to assist other than refunding me for the $40 disposal fee. Horrible customer service. This was clearly a mistake made by the customer service rep who processed the order but there is no desire to make it right even after management was made aware of the issue. If you are interested in new furniture but looking for the process to be simple and easy I would strongly suggest going elsewhere. This is the second time purchasing with Tepperman’s and will most certainly be my last.

Amazing with their financing and availability to get appliances when you cannot afford it right away. Very convenient and friendly staff! But almost EVERYTHING we have bought from them have broken within a year of buying them; I’m talking, our couch’s springs poking out and ripping it after only 7 months, freezer inside doors plastic snapping and falling apart for no reason and the fridges inside door deciding to snap off when I payed over $2000 cash for it dishwashers jet piece somehow falling off and melting while dishwasher was running, washer not cleaning good and dryer deciding to stop dying in less than 6 months ; I have literally had the worst experience with quality form teppermans. At least my microwave is in perfect condition ‍️Oh and now my stoves button drawer is starting to fall apart.don’t recommend

I recently purchased furniture from Tim Aarssen and appliances from Al Morency for our new home. The experience was delightful. Having been in sales I was impressed by how thorough these gentleman were, highlighting all the bells and whistles of my purchases and leaving no questions unanswered. The lady who processed the order was lovely and went above and beyond to accommodate me. The store manager even made her way over to thank me for doing business with them. It truly was a heart warming experience. Thank you for showing such great customer service. It doesn’t go unnoticed!

Both sales people who assisted us were helpful and professional. We purchased a mattress, and they ensured we had all that we needed (mattress protector, sheets, base/box spring, etc.) without hard-selling us on those things. Rhonda helped us first. She did a quick sleep assessment, then showed us matresses based on that, instead of us having to lay on every matress in the store to find what we were looking for. When we were done looking at matresses, we explained that we had plans to look at a couple other stores before deciding. Again, Rhonda made herself available, but no hard-sell or pressure. Ultimately, we returned to Teppermen's. My son is happy with his purchase, but has not slept on the matress yet.

I had a very nice, polite and informative person by the name of Kyle Kamerman to help me. With his help I selected the refrigerator I wanted. I would recommend him to anyone looking to make a purchase at Tepperman's in Chatham.

Dealt with Mike and Kyle while shopping. Both provided excellent service and recommendations. Both had great product knowledge and a friendly no pressure attitude. Very pleased

The sales department was very professional and friendly when she took my call. She confirmed the length of the sale and that it was available to pick up next day.

Friendly, helpful, customer oriented staff. I went looking for a recliner. The one I wanted was out of stock until November but, having a good selection of styles and colors available, was able to choose another that met my needs.

Went in looking for a base for our Mattress, Rita Marie Biskey was our sales representative, she helped us with a purchase of an adjustable base we are looking forward to it's delivery!

I went into chatham store to buy a pop up sofa bes an entertainment center and a painting which my sales rep assured me was in stock before I even left store. Delivery was set up day before by text (disaster that was). I was alloted a 2 hour window that if I wasn't home for would be charged 50 dollars. Then when I confirmed I them scheduled to have elevator booked for these 2 hours just to have a lady call and say "sorry your order didn't make it on to truck and now you will wait until the 30th of November. When I told the young lady this was unacceptable she proceeded to tell me was not her problem. Upset I cancelled orderand gave them benefit of doubt as my last purchase at teppermam chatham was a shitshow. Just to have my salesman Rosario call a day later not to fix issue BUT to personally apologize. Does nothing for the fact I am still left with no sofa. Terrible experience.

although it was a 6 month struggle with the chatham store first my delivery date all set up. Got call my stuff didn't make the truck. Stuff? OK. Then issue with measurements. On third try got a beautiful leather couch and chair and the delivery guys were AWESOME

Rhonda was excellent to deal with. She helped us rearrange furniture so I could get a better visual. Rhonda was full of Knowledge to help us make the best decisions. We were in and out in 1hr with a furnished basement!

Judy was great in sales, very accommodating and knowledgeable.

Delivery drivers were top notch, on time with excellent service. Protected our floors from the entry way all the way to the basement. No damage done and they were very polite

Very knowledgeable! All questions and concerns I had were answered. I wasn’t pushed or persuaded into a buy. The right product was found to meet my needs.

We just bought a new king size bed, at the Windsor store, \\our sales rep was Jen Coutts, she was very pleasant and helpful. We spent 2 hours in the store with her because she ask up Questions on how we sleep. Then she showed us what we may want and let us decide which one we bought. I have never had a sales rep spent that much time and ask us the right questions. The delivery men Andre and Tim, they did a great job, they took everything away from the packing, left no mess at all. All in All it was worth the drive from Chatham to shop at this store.

Customer service representatives are always helpful and courteous.
When we had a scratch on the sofa they were quick to fix the problem.

The salesman was so helpful and so informative he’s a nice young man I wish I lived closer so you go in to say hello to him he works in appliances I bought a portable dishwasher

Sales Rep Al, was extremely helpful and friendly. Entire process was smooth and seamless. Very much enjoyed my shopping experience with Tepperman’s.

Really like the sales associates, very helpful and even suggested where we could go to find something they did not have.

Only issue is that appliance and furniture was two separate interactions, so alot of back and forth.

Very pleased with everything else.

Went in looking for a couch, Jorden helped us out a lot. He’s very knowledgeable and informative on all options we were looking at. He was very willing to show us estimates on several couch before we decided on which one. So happy with everything.

The staff is very knowledgeable, they definitely have product knowledge. Some sales people at their competitors wing it.

Your customer Representative Jorden Myers took care in showing me around in timely manner in what I wanted to purchase and giving me very much helpful advice in making my purchase the best that suits my needs.
He let me know of all the important information I needed regarding the bed and mattress I was looking for, listened and answered all my questions and did the mattress test which I thought was wonderful to match the best that suited me and all the features, electronics and adjustable buttons on the power frame.
The pillows he had me tried out were just as nice!
He took the time to show me some furniture as well I was interested in and gave me great insight on ideas and colors and showed me many different styles in what I was looking for.

Customer service was outstanding. My salesperson Tim Aarssen was very knowledgeable on the furniture I wanted to purchase and made it a great shopping experience. Delivery was exactly as stated.

Went in looking for a washer/dryer combo. Amy, the salesperson helped me in choosing the right set and got all the paperwork in order for the finance people. She was extremely helpful. At the financial desk, everything was quick and easy and was very pleased. I have been dealing with Teppermans for over 30 yrs, sales staff are A-1, along with the merchandise they sell!

Bad experience with tepperman, waited 3 months for 1 bed and finally got delivered after 2 attempts.wrong boxspring size.poor communication from tepperman to delivery team.i have the bed frame sitting without 1 boxspring right now and waiting for them.no idea when they will call or come.never will order anything from them again.

Justin was great at tracking down a gas dryer for me and have washer for me to pick up tomorrow. They are not a matching pair and I didn't care. I needed this for tomorrow cause my both appliances broke down. I am starting a new job tomorrow and won't have time to shop for them. Thanks Justin your awesome. Love deferred payment because no interest and can pay it off in two years.

We had a very positive experience with Teppermans. Our salesman James was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Giving us time to select what we really wanted. He knew all of the product lines. Prices were compared to ensure we received the best price. James was very polite and professional. As seniors we appreciated his patience and time spent while we chose our selections. Our favourite person was there Rosaire. He did his usual checking and making sure we had the correct article and price. All the other staff were pleasant in dealing with us. Nick was very helpful with tv and info dealing with two oldsters. I was satisfied and we nearly always shop at Teppermans.

Had an extremely pleasant experience with Sales Employee Nicholas Postma. He was very knowledgeable in the products and went above and beyond to answer and explain in fine detail every question that I asked. Even during Lockdown (Covid) he managed to do everything in his power to provide exceptional customer service while on the phone. Not enough star rating so I would 10/10 return to Teppermans to buy from him again.

Over the last several weeks I purchased a couch and had the best sales person Tim Aarssen. He was able to get couch in when we needed and was very helpful.
So last night by daughter needed a new washer and dryer. First place I said to go was Teppermans because of Tims helpfulness.
As we went through front door and screening of covid, a sales person asked what we needed.we said washer and dryer. He directed us the the discount units out back showroom. I guess we appeared to be discount people? I said what about all those to the left. He said they are higher priced. Again we must have appeared to be discount people. We looked at each other and were dressed ok? So we looked out back and nothing there that we wanted. Went out front and sales person very knowledgable and helpful I don't know his name.but there was no stock available for us to take right away and no estimation of time to come in.unfortunately this wasn't his fault but Covids. We went to Leons and bought the same units and free delivery. I guess keeping money flowing throughout Chatham

Waited 2 1/2 months for my dishwasher. When I finally picked it up and got it home, well it was broken. Front display lrg crack! It was returned the process wasn't smooth. No alternate sales option was offered except for a junk frigidaire dishwasher. Sales person was next to incompetent won't name names you know who you are. I have spent over 15k at teppermans between sarnia and chatham. Sarnia does it right. This chatham store is all the misfit staff. Good Luck hey Leon's here I come

Edit number 2 I edited this ad 2 days after edit request and more then 1 well later no response from Teppermans in Chatham today is Mar7,2021 let's see what another week brings!

Bought a mattress in September 2020 for 800 bucks its Jan 29th 2021 and there's already ruts in the bed where I lay and I only weigh 165. You can tell they sold me either the wrong mattress like they do to everyone else or sold me a cheap mattress with no name on it so you cant verify your purchase and an outrageous mark up because they know what there doing. You'd think it would take over a year to even see close to that kind of wear. I've never witnessed this in my whole 33 years of living. Unacceptable quality. Just go to sleep country As for this guy / your prob not even the owner you just want better pr so you get some high up dweeb to take care of the reviews as well. What boss says thank you to the other one star reviews when their clearly upset. You've lost my lifetime business and the business of all the people that are close to me.

Nick was awesome to deal with. Was hesitant on doing the over the phone purchase but he made it easy and was very informative. He gave me model numbers so we could check out the items online (bought a new fridge) and answered all questions we had. Would recommend Nick at Teppermans Chatham.

I have an account with tepperman since 2016 and I have been very satisfied with everything I bough from them. Great staff and stores is always great to go to. Sales person always greets us with open arms, and always explains and gives awesome suggestions to what I’m looking for. Great customer service with everything being said. I would totally recommend tepperman for anyone who are always looking for anything.

I had the most caring, dedicated, attentive, informative and wonderful sales associate help me with my order! I can honestly say that I have never had such exceptional service from anyone at Tepperman's before (and I have been a customer at Tepperman's for over 23 years.) RITA BISKEY has stayed in contact with me since November of 2020 until today Feb 26th 2021 through all the lockdowns and re openings. It all began with me wanting to switch out a chest of drawers for another. I had phoned Tepperman's and somehow after being on hold and transferred and then on hold again I ended up being transferred from the Windsor store to the Chatham store. Rita had answered my call. I had explained everything that I was concerned about and Rita had assured me that she will take care of everything! (And she MOST CERTAINLY DID!) If there was ever a change in the delivery or anything else Rita would be sure to contact me. Rita even picked up the slack from the Windsor store and when I had asked her about the mattress or adjustable base that I had also ordered Rita kept me up to date on the progress. Even a call after hours from home to ensure me that she had'nt forgotten about me. THAT IS DEDICATION! I cannot express how happy and amazed I was/am about my experience with Rita. If or when I am in need of anything else from Tepperman's I may just call the Chatham store and have Rita help me. Maybe the associates in the Windsor store can learn something from Rita, because I can tell you when you are in the Windsor store they all run from you and never answer the phones!

Very pleased with my custom order sofa. Came a little sooner than we were told the wait would be.but that is great. Staff is also very helpful and go out of their way to fix any errors with orders. Definitely will be back:)

Just did a purchase over the phone and the customer service was absolutely excellant. Amy and Michelle were both friendly, helpful and great to deal with.

Hahaha they have a "Credit Building" program, I applied because I wanna build my credit up.yet they told me that something from years ago was still on the account so they couldn't approve me. Thanks to this I will go somewhere else to buy my coaches.

Ps. I could pay them out in cash because my financial situation has changed but as mentioned I was trying to build my credit.

I absolutely love this store, the staff are always right there and willing to assist as in my situation today Justin stands out as providing a great customer experience.
