I had a great experience for the initial purchase of my furniture. Still haven’t gotten to delivery but they were helpful and attentive during the buying process. I was even able to get a deal applied after the fact once I found my VIP invitation. I will post again when we get to the actual pickup.

Great sales staff. However who ever is in charge of pick ups should really ensure everyone is on the same page when it comes to what’s acceptable for pick ups. I have bought many items here and never had an issue until today, I was told one thing the other day and something different today, very frustrating as a customer.

Always great service when I go in. Always good quality of product. I bought 2 couches, adjustable bed, double side bed and bedroom dresser, my washer and dryer, now just bought my dishwasher. I really like Teppermans and I always recommend them to my friends and family.

Bonnie Sommers was very helpful with our first visit to Teppermans. She helped us select a good couch and rug for our daughters play room.
She even answered my questions after the fact via a telephone call.
I had concern about fitting through stairwell but she measured it on the floor and provided some reassurance of it fitting.

Excellent service and help.

Question for the owner- So, you’re saying that price matching an in store sale isn’t going by protocols? Is that isolated to your company or is this suppose to be for all companies? Because the time we took to ask around about an in store sale, everyone was clear as day that they are allowed to honour it by calling the specific store to confirm the sale. I understand (after another store spoke with me) that ONE of the TWO appliances I had sent over for price match doesn’t meet the criteria to being accepted across the board. That’s clarification not given by Teppermans. What’s inconvenient is that communication was either mute or no full disclosure from your staff.

The left hand doesn’t seem to communicate properly with the right hand in this place. We were told by Rick from appliances that a VIP coupon could NOT be honoured without it on hand, it was even told to us in writing to look for the paper mailed to us. Matt the manager said had he known within the time frame of the coupon, he could have honoured it. That would have saved us a little bit more. We were also told we could price match, when I emailed about this, Matt declined the price match. When I called to ask why it was declined I was told “oh, the communication was incorrect and I saw there was a quote and can’t change quotes. ” When I emailed our appliance sales rep, I get no response. We’ve purchased a lot through Teppermans over the years, we didn’t ask them to price match anything that we didn’t think wasn’t in an integral manner. Matt seemed to think that our price match through another business was somehow shady? And should be reported?

Found the perfect couch. We have a family of 9 and they beat the other big stores in price. This is my new favorite furniture store. Plus I was able to get something in a week delivered! Just on time for Christmas:)

Me and the girlfriend was looking for a brand new Mattress came into Tepperman’s in Kitchener where we were helped out and found exactly what we needed. The gentleman that helped us out was very knowledgeable and courteous and helped us speed up our process of looking for a comfortable mattress to lay our heads down for a great nice sleep! We bought a gas stove and fridge and our sales person Neeraj Sadhu was so helpful and great to deal with! Knew so much about the products and responded to our email queries afterward. Delivery happened as arranged - great communication system. Delivery staff were excellent as well, dealing with our old appliances and getting new appliances set up! This is our second purchase at Teppermans. We bought a couch two years ago and very impressed with price and quality and service. We will definitely shop at Teppermans again!

Pretty sad that it took over 1/2hr before someone could come help. All staff were too busy talking to one another and even distracted on their phones. Poor customer service.

Worst experience. Husband and I actually found a bench that we were more interested in. It shows $178.00 in their flyer but the tag said $248. They wouldn't even honor the price of $178.00. Why put pricing in a flyer if your not going to honor it.
Would never recommend this place to anyone.

First time going to Tepperman's. Was very happy with selection of lift chairs available. Also enjoyed that they allow you to freely browse without having a salesperson to follow you around. Just wish they had stores closer to GTA.

We recently bought all new appliances for our kitchen and we are beyond impressed with the service. Jay is absolutely amazing. If you are there find him! We had a few hiccups after delivery and Jay went above and beyond to fix the issues even when their customer service said they could not help. Can not say enough good things about Jay Oliquino and his professionalism, customer service, and support of his customers. He was very attentive and helpful in helping us find the best deals and appliances that fit our needs. Went to 2 other well known furniture stores this afternoon and all the salesmen were far too busy to offer assistance. Walked into Teppermans and were greeted as soon as we stopped to look at something. Where do you think we spent some money? It's nice when someone appreciates your business.

We purchased a Hallenberg Stone 3 Piece Sectional that was to take 1-2 months to arrive.

We informed the sales person that we'd have a new born in 2 months and needed a sectional before his arrival. We were assured that the "2 months was playing it safe" and that it should arrive in time.

After 1 month (early August) we followed up and we were told it would be early September. It's now early September, our newborn has arrived and still no communication from Tepperman's.

We called today and were told it's now due to arrive at the END of October, so another 7/8 weeks taking our wait to 4 months.

Unless you're purchasing a product that is in stock I'd highly recommend looking elsewhere.

I was at the Huron and fischer hallman location for 30 minutes today. Employees walked meters away from us and made eye contact but No greeting not even a Hi. When we were done going through the entire store I noticed the same employee that looked at us and looked away was talking to another lady very enthusiastically. He walked towards us still not saying hello. I said hi what’s your name? His response was “my name is Ricardo. What is your name? ” I was so taken back I didn’t say anything. He stood around saying nothing else then sat down on a chair beside us. Once my mom was off the phone he hesitantly said let me know if you’re looking for anything. What kind of customer service is this? I’m so glad I decided to come in person before we spent money buying all our new furniture here. Disgusting.you can check the cameras to see that not a single employee came up to us or even acknowledged us.

Worst customer service ever. Bought 5 appliances, bed set and dining table set.
Tepperman delivered fridge, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, bed set and dining table.

1. There were multiple wall scratches while moving the fridge upstairs in the kitchen
2. The delivery guys could not assemble the bed because of the issue with the footboard. One of the dining chair's leg is short. The bed is just sitting in my bedroom unassembled and taking space which is completely unacceptable. I have been waiting for almost 3 weeks now for the footboard and the dining chair.
3. Its been almost 1.5 months that I am waiting for the stove delivery. I was told by the sales person that it would be delivered by end of June or early Aug. Called the customer care team today and they told me that it would be delivered in the week of Aug 23. On top of that, Tepperman is charging me 40 dollars for the stove delivery (even after paying the 80 dollars delivery charge for the first delivery).

I wish I had an option to rate 0.

Sales person needs to listen. We told multiple time we need a stove/oven instock at Kitchener location. Ended up finding one that we were told was instock at their location. We paid for it and then were told that it will be available for pick up in 2 /3 days as it is coming from London and is not instock in kitchener.

Not impressed anymore! Purchased a DORSTEN SLATE SOFA CHAISE in March 998.00, June comes on sale 798.00, August 698.00. And we have yet to get the DORSTEN SLATE SOFA CHAISE YET!

Called in June to see how far out a brand new order for the DORSTEN SLATE SOFA CHAISE would be and was told November *new orders* AGAIN BOUGHT IN MARCH and was called today won’t see until November! Yes I get everything is backed up but seriously common. Looking forward to a response.

Clearly management doesn’t ready the reviews as how do you reply “Hi Nancy ” and no request to make anything better.

Called Kitchener store about a chair that we liked. We saw in in London but by the time we made up our mind, it was sold. The Sales Rep was so accommodating - had answers and suggestions for me and I was able to have the chair shipped to London. Great shopping experience.

The item we ordered did not match the description and picture online. When we contacted them over the phone to discuss this they did not call us back for days because the CSR had made multiple errors with our contact information. When we called back we were continually put on hold for long periods of time with multiple hang ups on us during the wait. Emails went unanswered, so we went into the location in an attempt to correct this. Again not dealt with there told they would escalate our concerns and get back to us in 3 to 5 days. Three weeks later after multiple attempts from us to get updates they call us to say that according to QA we got the proper product according to specs from the manufacturer. Ultimately we ordered and paid for item based on the characteristics in the description and the picture on Tepperman's websites as this is what we needed. Basically told by QA too bad this is what it is and no offer was made to correct this or make us happy. Even after multiple interactions with them the incorrect product description and picture remained on their website. Poorly run organization, even worse customer service. They don't care about customer satisfaction, just interested in making a quick buck.

Not sure I want to add personal info on the website, the sales order # is 413932490 and the date on that invoice is Nov 29. However I will ask why the interest in attempting to correct the problem now? You were given at least 4 opportunities to correct it? Is this an attempt now because it is in a public forum? If you truly cared about customer service and satisfaction I would have thought it would have been dealt with in the first or second attempt when we contacted you.

Temppermans Kitchener serviced so good and friendly, have the way to help me got the Skyworth 70” 4K smart TV so faster within 1,5 day (around 34 hours) after the time I ordered.
That is so good within time all of Ontario lockdown

We ordered a custom couch through Tepperman’s and dealt with Tim and Patrick. Both of them were amazing at explaining all of our options and process to have the couch built and delivered. Given the times and current lockdown, the manufacturer and Teppermans are obviously experiencing some delays. With that said, Tim and Patrick were very transparent when setting expectations for a timeline. The order was placed before lockdown, and when emailing them I received an out of office response from not Tim and Patrick due to the lockdown. Even with this email, Patrick still responded within 10 mins and included a sales rep who is available during the lockdown. That service is appreciated and should not go unnoticed.

Teppermans has great service, selection, and I’m sure the quality will be amazing. Don’t hesitate to choose Teppermans.

Poor experience and no solutions offered. Background: I ordered a fireplace TV stand from a sales person on December 2. She said the ETA would be end of December or early January. When I followed up on January 12 (via email), the store called me to tell me that my order was not placed because I was not asked for a deposit (by the sales person), and it would be another 7 weeks before the product was back in stock. This was unacceptable to me because I had already waited that long, had followed up a few times in between, and was not informed of the store's mistake until after the initial expected delivery date. No solution was provided by the store; just that I could place the order again or look around for something else I liked. I'm really glad I didn't give them any money, even if it was by mistake. I will be checking out other stores around the city that I know are honest about their shipping times.

Since moving to the tri-cities about 8 years ago, I've been a repeat customer! Bought sectional, bedroom set and most recently a dinette set. Their customer service experience as well as the fact they're a family owned canadian business made it easy to come back repeatedly! Doesn't hurt they have the best financing options to purchase with as well. Can honestly say, I haven't had a bad experience with them this far. Our next planned room make over will take place in 2021 and I can't see why we'd go anywhere else!

We went to this store on labour day to purchase a couch on sale to my surprise all the couches on sale would not be available till December. We were looking for an earlier delivery so we picked a couch that was supposed to be delivered no later than early November. Come November we got a call and it was pushed to December. Now the issue is we would have save $1500 on a sale couch we liked and had it delivered December. Then when we went to pay and have it delivered early December we were told it's in London but we couldn't get it delivered till Dec 22. Today I'm off work we haven't had a call yet I pulled my bill out to contact them and found in the top corner the delivery date is Dec 31 not on the 22nd as I was told by the lady who booked it. I will never refer anyone to this place or make another purchase there. For anyone that is interested in purchasing here DO NOT BUY from them they are not honest it was all a sales tactic to get us to buy from them. There are other honest places to deal with. "Tepperman's Owner" I thank you for your response but I'm not looking for a resolution and an empty apology nor am I looking for some kind of discount it's not about the money. I work in the service industry, honesty and customer service is #1. I work hard for my money the same as all the rest and I have choices of where I spend that money. You can not even use covid for an excuse because it was minimal through the process. Even if it was delayed till early December that wasn't the big issue for us it was that it sat in your London warehouse for almost another month while we wait for it to be delivered. No sense of urgency to get it to us earlier since the order was already late and by the way fully paid for. Then to tell me one date and it is a actually a later date. I will not refer or spend another dollar there. I sure hope that what we purchased is in perfect condition because next will be social media if it's not.

There customer service is the biggest joke that I have ever had to deal with. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM. You will never get it.
My fiance and I purchase a washing machine back in August from them. We understand with Covid that some delays are going to happen. But enough is enough. 3-4 weeks turned into a few more weeks. Which turned into early December. Which turned into late December. Last week, it was late January. 4 month delay on our original order with no solid reasoning. Everytime, we had to phone for an update on the delivery. They never reached out to us one to inform us about delays.
Just today. I tried to phone their office to either get an update or cancel my order. After waiting an hour on the phone. I finally get a hold of some. Unfortunately, 'Michelle' has never worked a phone in her life. Because after telling her my order number, she hangs up on me. I would say that today is the worst customer service I have every witnessed. But I didn't talk to anyone. So I can't call it that.
I'm done with this company. I will be canceling my order today. If they want to take it up with me they can call me. If you were smart, you would avoid from buying from them.

I made a very large purchase ordering an entire house of furniture. Initially I was suppose to receive my delivery in the beginning of November. I did not actually receive it until Dec 23,2020. I was patient and understanding despite not having a house of furniture for over one month. Upon my delivery 2 items were missing from the truck. For the past 3 weeks I have been calling to inquire when I would receive those items, and up until yesterday I received no call back despite being told I would. The very nice lady yesterday phoned me back with an update but the company has not yet told her when I would receive my missing items. I do appreciate her calling me back as no one else has and the general manager never responded to any emails the employees have sent regarding this issue. Needless to say after spending $14,000.00 dollars this is not the service I expected. I will not be purchasing anything further from them in the future.

An older employee, a white woman with black hair was so concerned about me not wearing a mask that rather than answer my questions and help a paying customer; was the utmost dismissive and rude.
She stood 20 feet away (unable to read her name tag) and was solely focused on my leaving.
Unhelpful, rude, unprofessional and irrational sales person.

We bought a bedroom set and a sectional from Teppermans. I've waited awhile to write the review.

My wife and I went in late November to get these items to be delivered to a new house we were moving into. We worked the the sales rep on showing us only inventory that was already in stock to avoid delays. They were very helpful.

The delivery service is dynamite! For 80 they deliver, set up and remove all of the packaging.

One of cushion on the sectional had a split in multiple fibers and was fraying, so we called customer service and after 2 weeks they called back and have setup an exchange for the piece of the sectional that had some damage. They will be getting it to us within the week, which was pleasantly surprising given the busy time of year that its is.

So all around great service, helpful reps and good customer care after the fact. Will purchase from them in the future!

Great selection for one stop shop. Building a home and require a good amount of new furniture (Couch, love seat, tv entertainment unit, King matress+bed, twin mattress and bed, 2 accent chairs, and more. Denise was great at helping us with our selections and providing advice. Our biggest complaint was we tried getting 79$ delivery fee waived as a goodwill gesture for such a large order. We spoke directly with store manager and was told "some people spend 10,000-20,000 and still require to pay delievery fee". This felt very condescending. Working in customer service, there should be some value add for returning clients, and bulk orders. Happy with products and Denise, but could improve. After our experience with manager, we wouldn't buy appliances here.

They did a great job promptly fixing my couches when the springs began to creak after a few months of light use. However, since our purchase from them I have been quite unimpressed with what they choose to print on their envelopes, they often say "Urgent: Open immediately" and other things that could raise red flags and have on more than one occasion. Maybe consider changing up the way sales and promotions are conveyed to consumers rather than causing people to open your mail in a panic only to find a flyer.
