I went to Teppermans on Boxing day. Bought a couch and love seat. Paid for it right there. Salesman said it would be delivered in 2 weeks.
2 weeks went by and no delivery or phone calls. I called Teppermans, talked to the sales guy. He had no answer for me as to why it's taking longer. Talked to the store manager, he said He could have my couch delivered on Jan. 26th but no idea when we get our love seat.
I find this very frustrating and unprofessional of Teppermans to say 2 weeks when it's going to be over a month to get our furniture that has been bought and paid for.

Bought here multiple times and can't complain about it the only reason I'm only leaving a 2 star review is this, we received a special invitation in the mail saying just for coming in we would receive a $60 worth gift and we didn't go in just to receive this gift but were planning on looking at some prices, so we receive our gift and find a 100% the same product at a different store priced for $8.00.so instead of receiving a $60 gift, you're getting a $8.00 gift.

Tepperman's stands behind their products. Recently I purchased a GE electric range from Tepperman's and had an issue with the oven temperature not being correct. It was inconsistent and not reliable. GE would not honour the warranty, insisting that it fell within the specifications for the stove. After 2 visits from the technician and the stove still not functioning properly I approached Tepperman's with the problem. They offered to replace the stove or apply the purchase price to a different range of my choice. It would have been their loss since GE wouldn't fix or replace the range. My thanks to Joshua Miller, the store manager who authorized this.

To be honest. The salesman Mike was great. But the girl at the counter was rude ignorant and very arrogant. Something i feel is absolutely unfair. Given the fact that i am bronging bussiness to the store. Where i could very well go someplace else i am treated with respect. Not happy and my wife was very sad and disappointed

I dealt with Justin Douglas. I am in sales myself and I can honestly say that dealing with Justin was one of the best experiences I have ever had. He took so much time to show me different options and we talked out the advantages and disadvantages of each one. He was super understanding of my needs and together we came to a decision that I feel really good about. But his service didn’t stop there. He was also super knowledgeable in electronics and without having the convo with him, I wouldn’t have even entertained shopping at Teppermans for a tv. I haven’t had the greatest experience with Teppermans in the past and truly came in to kill a bit of time and take a look not really expecting to buy anything. Now he will be the first person I look for and thanks to him, Teppermans is now tops on my list for all future purchases. Also would like to shout out Haley Cosens as well for picking up where he left off and helped deliver a great experience on getting my TV. Justin even popped by to keep chatting during the process. Truly blown away considering I walked into another competitor and walked around for 45 mins without a single person approaching me.

Always easy to deal with Teppermans and Jeremy was no exception. Only 4 stars since I haven't received my purchase yet. But have always had a good experience if needing to iron out logistics. Thanks for your advice Jeremy. I'm looking forward to my new lift chair.

Extremely dissatisfied with the recent purchase of a dining set (Table & 6 Chairs) and the seller was unwilling to address the issues (lot of scratches on the surface). We purchased a brand new dining set with our hard earned money and an awful service received from this seller. Customer service is Unprofessional and not ready to listen.

Notified the seller within 24 hours of Delivery and seller was not even willing to address those issues happened due to transportation or handling. We won't buy anything from this seller again as completely dissatisfied & frustrated due to this.

The case file with the seller starts with my name above as per the seller comments below and the file can be easily located and I'm not sure why the seller has difficulty locating the customer service file. Terrible after sales service received.

I’ve been a customer for many years, always had a wondeful experience, today nothing about my experience was wonderful. Disappointing in every department, but since we’ve had many good experiences, in the past I still bought a stove.

Would give zero stars if that were an option. Delivery person told me the salesman lied to get the commission and told me this happens all the time. Salesman told me delivery included removal of old beds (which we paid extra for) but this was a lie according to the delivery people. Delivery people told me that salesman does this frequently to boost their own commission. Delivery people won’t install new equipment if the old equipment wasn’t already removed. So now I’ve paid $11 grand for furniture that remains at Tepperman’s. Very poor customer service.

Received very poor feedback for this review. Got my furniture but then Tepperman’s tried to add additional fees for mattress removal after it was already included in the initial price negotiations. Can’t contact anyone to resolve this.

Would definitely NOT recommend Teppermans to anyone trying to buy furniture. Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered.

We had a purchase of bed set tonight with a delightful experience. The main reason for this experience was a sales agent called Muhib who went above and beyond to help us and made a great effort explaining the items for us and patiently walking us through all the details we needed to know. Definitely recommend this store and more importantly ask for Muhib. He's the person to go.

Delivery company (who is a 3rd party) is awful BUT Rob, Kevin and Kevin who work for Teppermans quickly fixed my issue and honestly went above and beyond - will continue to purchase everything from here still.

The changes in price are ridiculous. I was interested in a sofa that was tagged at more than $2,000, I asked for any kind of discount and about availability, the sales associate said that the price was fixed and there was no expected date for delivery. I found the same sofa in Brampton for $500 less and decided to buy it, and drove 350km to pick it up, to find out 2 weeks later that Teppermans reduced their price in $500 and were giving an additional $250 discount. Conclusion: I wasted $350 and my time driving to buy the exact same sofa, that I could have bought at this location.

Every time I purchase furniture from Tepperman's, I have a positive experience. Both the salespeople and the finance people are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They make my visit easy and pleasant.

Today I went looking for a couch super worried I wouldn't find what I want or be able to get it at the time I needed. First try was Teppermans, did a bit of browsing. Eventually connected with Andreas, he was super helpful and informative. More importantly, he was funny and personable. I found the exact couch I was looking for, a small sectional with a bonus ottoman. All for a great price including a protection plan and will be able to receive on the day I need. Thank you Andreas!

We LOVE Teppermans! Pretty much everything in our home was bought there…and we’ve had ZERO issues! From TV’s to patio furniture to the fanciest massage chair I've ever seen to bed room suite and leather sectional…has all been perfect! Sale people are great too!

Great experience getting my TV here. There was no robotS in the whole store! People had their teeth brushed and I even never even seen a clown walking around. I sure love Teppermans. Plus evey weekend you can go and just hang out in one of their on display living chambers for FREE.

Had issues trying to install a top mount dishwasher into a side mount spot didn't work and Teppermans did not argue with cancelling and returning the new old one and waiting this week for new one to be installed. Seamless transition thank you!

I called in as we have just moved into newly built home and internet is not yet set up.

Spoke with a gentleman named Brandon who was excellent. He found the item I had seen yesterday in the London Tepperman location and provide me fantastic service so that I could purchase the item over the phone for pickup later today!

I love my fridge, it has no fancy stuff, a single door and keeps food cold plus it has a butter keeper! We were so lucky to find a Maytag refrigerator in stock that we liked [that even went on sale] and bought it. [ Its hard to get much of anything in stock due to covid/supply ] There was a problem with delivery on the Saturday and they were very quick to get it delivered to us the next day which was Sunday by two warehouse staff! I was so surprised and happy! Tepperman's staff were great to work with from beginning to end and we will definitely purchase there again.

Would definitely recommend them. Thank you Tepperman's!

I have been a customer of Tepperman's for many years, since my husband and I first got married, Tepperman's was the only company that would give a young couple any attention when looking for furniture and mattresses.

This past weekend, we returned back to the store for their "save the tax event" and had an amazing experience. I purchased a media unit that we discovered after we got home did not match the room we had purchased it for. I called Nick Robinson, who spoke with a manager, and arranged for me to make a seamless exchange. Not only that, when I got back to the store to pick out another media unit, he helped me "match" my new unit to my flooring and paint sample!

We also dealt with Jason in the Outlet and purchased a bunk bed, as well as a full three piece bedroom set for my other child. Jason was extremely professional and patient was we walked through and looked at all the options available to us.

Each of the gentlemen we dealt with this weekend went above and beyond to provide us excellent customer service, and we highly recommend Tepperman's for your home furnishing needs.

Do not buy anything from Tepperman they have the worst after-sale service policy. I brought king size mattress and bed from Tepperman but the mattress size was not suite for the bed size. I raised a complaint about this but they didn't give a proper response.

The absolute WORST customer service. Not only did they send an incompetent delivery crew (wouldn’t move a side up a flight is stairs) but were unable to assemble a bed. Now waiting on a technician to come and reassembled the bed. When I asked when will they be arriving…. The response was “ whenever they are free”. Looks like I will be paying whenever “ I am free”

Change you attitude and do it right the first time.

PS I have had to stay at a hotel as I am unable to sleep in my new bed.

My experience at Teppemans was wonderful. I had the pleasure of being helped by Hailey. She was super friendly and made everything easy. I came in for a washer and left with a washer and a t.v. I would definitely recommend this place.

We went in sure we knew what range we were buying. We ended up buying one that suited our needs better with the help of our salesperson. Matt took the time time explain features and understand what we actually needed. He showed us our other options without trying to up sell. He was knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

In the past couple of months my mother has bought a few items from Brandon and has been thrilled w his capability, eagerness to help and friendly/non pushy approach. Even after the purchases, always willing to help with questions or more inquiries.
Not overally a fan of chain furniture sales, however at any point in future, we will be reaching out to Brandon!

I called the store this afternoon to talk to a salesperson. I was told they were to busy to take calls and to leave a message and they’d call me back. They never did. I needed a stove ASAP so I headed to the store. When I got there there were several groups of staff nestled into little groups, laughing and chatting. (All wearing name tags) There were 4 of them on a sectional looking like they were waiting for bottle service and three other women who couldn’t be bothered to break up their conversation to assist us.
This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this at this store.
On the positive side my salesman Mr. Gill found me a stove and had me out the door in minutes. 5 stars for Mr. Gill.

We bought two new beds a few weeks ago but did not like the plush mattresses after they were delivered.
When we spoke with the manager Joshua Millar, he immediately replaced them with different ones, no charge and they were delivered the next week
A very knowledgeable sales lady Natalie helped us chose different beds. We really appreciated her help.

Poor customer service. Deserve no stars.
The worst I have ever experience from a furniture store. Purchased a couch was suppose to get a follow up call to make payment. No call and store manger didn’t return call or honour sale price. Salesperson tells you one thing and mangers tell you something else… Save yourself pay the extra and get quality service from another furniture store. I will not beg someone to take my money

Update: Week 3 and still no call back from the store. You just respond to reviews but don’t care

Great experience with a clean showroom. Actually heard an older employee tell another employee to stop following customer so close and let it happen organically. Enjoyed not being pestered while I shopped. Sales woman was very patient with us an offered advice but not pressure while we took forever to decide. Anex was clean and well organized. Thank you. We find our new couch to have good quality and dosen't feel like it's going to fall apart when our brute sits down on it.

Picked out a couch online and paid in FULL back in May, and the expected arrival date keeps getting pushed back and now it’s expected to arrive in November. 6 months wait for a couch that I paid for is seriously annoying. Why even have the couch posted online if it’s unavailable? ! I’m not happy and I wish I knew it would take this long, I would of brought my money somewhere else.

Bought a decent couch at a good price, got absolutely garbage service specifically with the delivery. They told me it would be delivered end of August (I bought it at the beginning of August), then when I called on the 30th they said they were booking for the first week of September but can't tell me even a time range and that there would be a call a day before giving a 3 hour window. So you have to have a whole day off booked in advance and then sit around for 3 hours? Completely ridiculous

The incompetence is unbelievable. Tepperman’s sent us a flyer featuring a sofa. Went to the store to buy one but surprise, surprise, they don’t have any in stock, they had to order one made in another country, we agreed to wait. We also ordered two chairs, one matching the sofa and a rocker/recliner. We were told the recliner came in three colours, grey, grey, and grey. We ordered grey. When the chairs were delivered the recliner was brown. The delivery men in muddy shoes, and in a hurry, tried to assemble the recliner, without success. I complained that he was breaking it but they ignored me, set it up, took a foto and asked us to sign for delivery. When they left we sat on the recliner and the back slid sideways. One side of the back is unconnected to the chair. I called Tepperman’s for help but i have no expectations of any help in the near future, and perhaps not in the distant future. George.

We visited the store couple of times but ended up buying nothing. But this time “HAPPY” approached us and he definitely understood our choice and preferences and got us the best dinning table set. If you don’t want to waste your time wandering around then just directly go to “Happy” and he’ll get it done and make you happy.

Ordered a sectional from the London location in April and was advised it would be delayed due to covid. We agreed as we were told the couch would arrive by sometime in June. June came and went with no sectional. When we reached out to the store and were given a new date of mid July. Again, July came and went with no couch and no commutation from the store. We were told the couch would arrive by Aug. 6th but the day came and went again with no couch or communication from the store. When we attempted to reach out they offered no resolution to our problem. While we understand covid has caused many issues we are now on almost 5 months without a couch. The frustrating part is that the sectional we’ve chosen can be purchased through many different furniture stores but we chose to give our business to Teppermans as we have always purchased our furniture through them since becoming home owners due to their excellent service and price matching.

Staff were responsive and sensitive to our needs, and helpful with any questions we had.
The financing option at no interest and no admin fee was also a plus.
The store was busy when we arrived, so it took a while to find someone to help us, but that was no one’s fault, and the only reason for not having a 5 star rating.

We had really great service there. People were very friendly. The workers there helped us find what we needed right away. Best service of any furniture I've ever been at. I recommend this store to anyone out there looking for new furniture, appliances or electronics. Great place to go shopping.

My IKEA TV bench bit the dust after a little over a year. (I guess you get what you pay for). I found an excellent solid wood media console for a great price in the Outlet. Delivery time was as scheduled. Nice job by all.

I have shopped at Teppermans for many different things for my home over the years. I have shopped in different cites and have always had a pleasant experience. The sales people are not pushy if you're just looking, but if you need help they are very helpful and knowledgeable.
A few year ago we were out with friends and I was in the market for a couch and love seat. The restaurant was right next door to Tepperman's so we went in to get their opinion on the set I was looking at. After that we explored the store a bit. We were in the mattress section and I came across a lovely mattress that I loved. I told myself one day when I could, I would get that exact mattress. It was a Kingsdown, but the fantastic thing was that is was that you could have different hardness on each side. Perfect for my husband and I. So a few months ago I finally had the means to purchase this exact mattress. I LOVED my old bed, but I knew it was time to finally get a new mattress. I went to Teppermans in Chatham and found a very helpful salesman as I tried out many different mattresses. When I took my husband back with me to "try it out" We ended up in London. Again we had a very helpful salesman. And ended up purchasing THE mattress. I cannot say anything bad about Teppermans stores, their layout, or the salespeople and I LOVE their payment plan. I have used it many times with much ease.
Since having the bed, my husband and I have found that the mattress is NOT as comfortable - at least to us - as we thought. Neither of us have had a REALLY good night's sleep since we got it. I am disappointed that I spent that kind of money and I am not happy. But I realize that happened. How do you know when you lay on a bed for 10 minutes that you'll like it forever. The only thing I'd like to say in the review is that wish that Tepperman's had the 90 day try it out policy. Then we could have gone back and bought something else instead of having to live with one we done very unhappy with. This would ne the only negative thing I would have to say. So if you want to TRY a mattress for a bit and have a chance to exchange it- go to sleep country - because Tepperman's does not have this service.

Wanted a specific Tv. They had in stock. Used their webchat which linked to texting. I was able to handle the entire transaction from my pc to my phone in the truck so that when I got there the product was put aside, the invoice was ready. I paid, picked up and left in 5 minutes. Seamless. This was during the height of Black Friday traffic and sales. My business was earned with top flight customer services.
