Went for a breakfast date with my wife and chose Teremok Cafe. Galina is a super host - a very soft spoken person. Loved the ambience of this place.was quite cozy. Ordered Borsch (soup), Perogi and crepe. Borsch was a standout (its made by Galina / family everyday). Have tried Perogi at multiple places, but it was best here (again made by Galina & family). Thank you Galina for hosting us. Definitely recommend to others.
The food was the best of quality. The atmosphere was one that reminded me of home and always the service was top notch. Nothing but the best from this resteraunt
I am from Toronto and tried many European restaurants there, by far this place beats them all. Highly recommend Teremok to everyone in KW region. Thanks Galina for your food and hospitality.
My friend recommended this restaurant to me today, and I am so delighted that I had the time to stop and try their delicious pelmeni and apple strudel. These dishes are by far one of the best. Will be back soon to try their famous borsch.
Great tasty and authentic food. Borscht is the best I ever tried (and I tried a lot of different recipes)! Other things I tried were crepes with meat and pelmeni and I can highly recommend those too. Great for both dining in and takeout - frozen borscht and crepes are very handy.
Such a cozy and welcoming place to stop in for lunch (or any other time)! The food is top quality and always absolutely delicious, can highly recommend the borsch and pelmeni combo.
Teremok Cafe has excellent food, exceptional service and very cozy environment. Galina is wonderful and very welcoming. Everything on their menu is homemade, authentic, high quality and very fresh. We highly recommend Teremok Cafe!
Teremok is an amazing Eastern European cafe that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic and delicious cuisine. The cozy and inviting atmosphere coupled with the traditional decor make for a lovely dining experience. I ordered the borsch and pelmeni, and both dishes exceeded my expectations in terms of taste and quality. The borsch was hearty and flavorful, and the pelmeni were perfectly cooked with a delicious filling. The service was also outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who made my visit all the more enjoyable. Overall, Teremok is a must-visit for anyone who loves great Eastern European food.
Wow! As someone who grew up in Russia I can say that this is the most authentic and delicious Russian/Ukranian cuisine I've ever had in Canada. Everything is home made and made with such love. Galina is absolutely amazing and this restaurant is spectacular. Thank You.
Thank you to Teremok Cafe for preparing a special birthday dinner for our daughter. When, at the last minute, we discovered that we could not be together for her birthday, we called Teremok from Ottawa to order a take-out perogy dinner. The order was picked up by her grandparents, who were delighted to report that the package had been neatly tied up with pink ribbon! Such a lovely touch! Thank you - for the wonderful meal and for taking the care to make it special.
We absolutely love this place and have been customers for years. Our favourite is vareniki (potato and cheese perogies), they are boiled and that's how my grandma used to make them. We often buy frozen soups, so we can enjoy them at home. Highly recommend!
Amazing food, brings me back home to Ukraine. It's homemade, the quality is amazing, it's authentic. We ordered borsch and pelmeni (beef and pork dumplings), it was served quickly by the owner, who was very friendly and welcoming. If you come from Eastern Europe or just simply would like to try authentic eastern european food, I would greatly recommend this place.
Tasty homemade food! You can dine in, take out frozen dumplings, perogies and soup or take them cooked and ready to be eaten. I like getting frozen cherry and potatoes perogies (10$ a portion) and crepes with meat.
