TERRA - Milton

It’s been 10 years getting our Christmas tree at Terra, they’re usually well priced and good looking trees. Unfortunately this year the trees are not up to par with how much they are charging for them. Majority of the trees are bald and are being charged for $120+. Quite disappointed this year.

Very nice store as always. Not as busy as I thought the weekend before Christmas. The store always carries very nice merchandise.

Lovely place to go when it's cold out. A lot of variety in trendy plants, and extensive selection of trees and shrubs, etc, outside. They also have a snack bar with vegan soup! Yay!

Spacious greenhouse with cozy shopping vibe. Tons of varieties and products can be selected here. Feeling good if you just walk around.

Always a pleasure to do work here. Paul is a great guy to work with. I always end up driving home with some sort of purchase at the end of the day. They've got a great selection.

This is the BEST Terra! LOVE coming here and I've never experienced any issues with any of the staff - they're all friendly and helpful. I've been coming here since 2007-ish and I'm always bowled over by their selection of houseplants, perennials and annuals.

I shopped at this place many times because they have good variety of products, but recent experience with their Solution Center was not so pleasant as people there were not so friendly when I approach them for question, and similar experience at their Waterdown location earlier.

They have many varieties of indoor and outdoor plants. Few rare plants too. They also have decorations, fountains and clothes. Little pricey though.
Worth a visit.

It was a good experience as always.
The only slightly negative aspect was that the plant I wanted to plant a hedge was spread through the large outdoor area. I had to go around the area a couple of times to find the of plants I needed.

My first experience visiting Terra was fantastic. I was happy with my purchase and recieved help from a young lady named Emma who had great customer service skills. I will definitely be returning to Terra.

It’s very well organized, the staff are professional and the variety is great.deducted one star for their prices as they are a bit expensive unless there is a sale.

Great variety of strong annuals. Terrific collection of many strains of different vegetables. Would have liked to see a better selection of Hybrid Tea roses, especially Tropicana.

On the pricier side this year (compared to the big boxes), but always a decent selection of house plants and pots.

Seeing so many tropical plants in a winter month was very refreshing. The staff is very helpful in answering any questions too.definitely worth visiting!

Always have fun shopping for my Christmas urn.only come a couple times a year, but always great.

Terra is alive and well and spreading Christmas spirit! Even in winter there is lots to look at. I found pots for my indoor tropical plants as well as Christmas decor. The cactus and succulents area is very well kept and has amazing selection. Upon checkout, after many years of gathering Daisy reward points I actually got 10$ off my purchase.

Allow yourself lots of time to wander. Large gift area with beautifully displayed outdoor furniture, household items, clothing.so much more. Then there's the plants! A huge selection of fall mums in many colours available right now.

Love Terra greenhouse. Such a huge and lovely variety of plants to choose from. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Customer service is great and so are the prices. Mums are 3 for $33. Alot of them to choose from. I highly recommend this place. Our apple tree, hydrengeas and rose bush is still going strong after 4years. Thanks

Amazing quality plants of all preferences. Assistance was always available for specific inquiries and information about gardening.
The prices were exceptionally low compared to the high quality of the plants. Covid-19 protocols followed by all employees and great customer service offered. Loved this opportunity to shop at Terra today!

I was there for the time, and was nicely surprised. Lots plants to choose from, plus they have clothing, kitchen and gift section. Very easy to navigate because the signage is very visible.

They are getting deliveries all the time but still some items may not be in stock.
One stop shop for all your gardening needs, with professionals on site to answer questions and give advice. Huge property with a lot of parking and indoor/outdoor space.

Great selection today, mothers day 2021, for annuals and veges. The vege selection for tomatoes, peppers and spicy peppers was noticeably diverse. The store has restricted capacity due to COVID so a line up to get in as well as check out, but it moved quickly. Staff were very friendly and were giving away pansies for mothers day!

Great place with huge collection. Prices can be higher than big box stores but its good as a one stop shop. Worth checking out

Beautiful nursery. The selection here in peak planting season is incredible. Worth a visit if not for the colours and smells alone. Recommended.

This is a huge store biggest of its kind in the neighbourhood surrounding areas to find everything you need trees tropicals indoor outdoor gardening supplies patio supplies you name it they'll likely have it very busy right now people buy garden or vegetable plants and Patio baskets you'll pay for the extra quality here

Terra is popular.staff is genuinely friendly. With or without covid.its very busy. Maybe time to check out some of the smaller nurseries.

Poor customer service received today. Was looking for an item and was told it should be by the front of the store. (By the front? A little vague.) Asked the cashier at the front of the store and was advised they have never seen the product near cash and that they thought it was at the back (Where I asked in the first place.) So, I went elsewhere to purchase the item at a lower price. Prices are a bit high here as well. They do have some nice plants though.

Went to the nursery with my wife and was very disappointed with the staff and their lack of enthusiasm to assist us. The selection in fairness was fantastic but the experience with the staff was not what I was expecting.
Spent $400 but would have spent more.

This is a great store, both in season and the winter market. The plant stock is always healthy. We have a very healthy and beautiful garden; and 90% of it comes from Terra. We have also purchased furniture from the store, which seems a cut above the generic stuff in most big boxes. The winter market is incredible with great selection.price may be a bit high for some, but quality is definitely higher than grocery store fare.

Sure I can tell you why this place is awesome but come see for yourself. All your plant and gardening needs. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Beautiful gardening/patio lifestyle shop. Visited while its (sadly) way too soon to plant out-door, so needed a hit of growing plant life to get me through to Spring.

You walk into Terra and you have to feel the gardening butterflies. The store is so pretty. There is a section with eye catching succulent planting containers A patio furniture/"patio wear" section which is arranged by colour and theme. There's a good selection of all sizes, materials, and shapes of planting pots. There is a general plant needs section with: plant food, seed starting products, and specialty soils. If you are having problems with a plant, there's usually someone knowledgeable to give you advice.
The green house area has more succulents, tropical house plants and herbs.
Depending on what you are looking for, this store more "The Bay", than "WalMart". But come spring and summer, there is a great selection of good quality, well priced, vegetables, seeds and plants.

This is a fun gardening life style store, just right to lift our winter weary spirits!

Terra has been a staple for many decades and is a great place to buy plants and backyard stuff. The Terra Winter Market is especially great during the winter months. Vendors are set up in the greenhouse selling hot and prepared food, arts and craft, and soaps. Highly recommended to spend an hour or two.

Love this place. Great market in the winter, a ton of fun activities for the kids and a diverse selection of plants/herbs/veg etc.in the summer. Everything I've purchased had grown really well in our garden.

I love Terra. But the 2 stars are for the steady decline in holiday fresh cut greens for Christmas arrangements quality, quantity and increase in price.

Sooo in the winter time they host a market where you can purchase from local vendors and artisans. I'm sooo excited, there are so many different types of vendors! Food, clothing, soap, candles, jewelry and most importantly: hot sauce?
One side there are still plants to choose from but I'd say 80% is the market.

Have always had a great experience with the quality and service at Terra. Love their Daisy perks program!

Their plants are good quality and you know when someone says that it is not cheap so be ready to pay big bucks and there are many people and place is crowded like a farmer's market and keep your eyes open and have a comparison in mind when you buy soil because that you can buy cheaper from Home Sense, Rona or Canadian tier. I went there this season unfortunately they dint had okra plant and I bought 11 plants and my total was almost 90$.

I was looking for afew common indoor plants and i wasn't satisfied with their options, and prices were too high!

Really poor customer service at checkout. Was there today checking out 10 minutes before closing. The checkout supervisor refused to offer me a sale price starting at 8am the next morning. There are other quality nurseries around, like Sheridan Nursery who offer impeccable customer service. You’ve lost my business for good Terra nursery.

Asian lady (because I wasnt able to get her name) who works at check out is very racist. Checked out with a few other people that were not my skin colour, and she stopped me to ask if I was going to pay for the flowers, meanwhile they were just paid for. Terrible customer service.

Excellent place for any garden and patio needs. Good quality plants. The prices are a bit on the higher side but the quality is top notch. Its a great place even to take a walk and look at the beautiful plants.

I have dealt with this nursery for years. They have ordered plants that I wanted but we're not carrying at the time and I have had good success with their plants and shrubs.

I recently had an issue with some fountain lighting I purchased approx a year ago. I was very impressed with the way handled and resolved the issue for me.
We have always loved the selection and quality at the store and my recent experience has earned my loyalty.

First time planting a vegetable and herb garden so I had a lot of questions. They had everything I needed which was good. The customer service was hit or miss. Some were very friendly and patient in answering my questions, some were considerate and some answered but came across short and I got the feeling I was being bothersome.

Loved it. Wonderful plants, great gifts and interesting fresh trendy food products to taste and buy. Very busy parking.

Selection is good, but every plant or bag of soil we’ve purchased has left us battling aphids and fungus gnats for months. We won’t go back.

Love their winter market on Saturdays. Supporting local business, entrepreneurs and farm to table. Offering wide range of products - ie, gluten free, dairy free, vegan, grass fed meat products.

The greenhouse is awesome. They always have the most beautiful seasonal plants and flowers but I am not sure about all the odd clothing

This is my first “real plant” experience.

I bought a fiddle leaf fig tree (ficus) from this location as well as a small bag of potting soil. A couple weeks after replanting the tree into a pot, these gross little white/clear worm things appeared. I was really freaked out because this was not something I considered could happen when I bought a plant.

I contacted Terra right away, and they responded a day later but could not identify what the bugs were. Their suggestion was to purchase something from their store to add to the soil. They also offered to switch out the plant. They said that they thought the bugs probably came from the bag of soil and they could be millipedes.

I did not bring the plant back in because I did not want to have to lug the heavy pot it was in into my car and did not want to deal with the bugs in my car.

2 stars because they should have probably offered a refund and because of the bad experience.
