Lots of selection, sale prices were good. Regular prices were a bit higher than other stores in the area.

With almost no parking due to so many families getting yard and garden products and supplies, there was still ample space within the establishment to shop and browse without feeling congested.

Love this location for all gardening needs. Prices alittle high but plants/flowers last well into late fall. Staff very helpful with zoning/fertilizing plants that continue to grow healthy whether it being annual or perennial plants. Would definitely recommend this garden centre!

This location has a great variety of home decor to support your plants and home garden. If you are shopping for a christmas tree they got them as well. Ths staff are super helpful and can guide you on selecting the right plant or thr right size for your home.

It's not the cheapest garden Centre you will go to but the price reflects the quality of the plants, they ae always in top condition and well cared for.

Customer service here sucks. I'll just YouTube my needed info and take my business to home depot. Like she literally responds to my inquiry of fall lawn care saying "yeah, we actually don't.yeah call next door", like wow any excuse to not have to assist me. Groovy music to stroll along to. Played dress up in their changeroom with assorted hats, capes, scarves matching handbags. Orchid section aerated plastic planters only $1.79. Spaghnum and fir bark mixture. Did photo shoot, ten second timer, on their huge round patio beds, snd hanging wicker swings. It was best time to visit, after a dr appt, and raining. So a real pick me up! Staff very congenial, respectful, anxious to help in any way. Nought gourds, centerpiece of corn cob, milk thistle, tall dried grasses. I coated tiny pumpkin and gourds with garlic puree, to ward off squirrels. Danced in the multi flowered greenhouse, taking photos. Lively establishment, I go twice a summer. Check it out, you definitely won't regret it.

Always a great place for not only plants but home and garden decor as well. Very clean with friendly and helpful staff.

Wide selection of plants (annuals, perennials, tropical), bushes/trees, garden materials, decorative items, eg.furniture, pillows etc, gardening tools, gift items, clothing. Most of the plants were well cared for though everything is fairly expensive so I bought ready-made planters that were on sale. I enjoyed wandering inside and outside the main building because there is so much to see.

Great selection of products, my only beef is prices are high.

I visited here a week ago. Lots of beautiful plants and they had a sale on trpical plants. The staff seemed to be busy chatting amongst one another about personal stuff and not interacting with customers. I asked for help and explained I'm looking to add a bunch of new indoor plants to my place and recommendations would be appreciated. The guy told me they already have it sectioned where I can see which ones are indoor plants so I can look there myself.and that was the extent of customer service before he continued to chat with the girl about his dating life. I ended up spending around 400 bucks after walking around, googling plants, and finding them myself. Plants and inventory I rate 4 and service 1 so I'll leave the overall rating at 2 from an experience perspective.

This was my 1st time to Terra. That was awesome experience… staff was so nice and helpful. A lady Silky helped me a lot in selecting set of Cedar trees…

Trying to plant some new stuff around our ornamental rock we bought, and not being gardeners, Katie was fantastic helping us choose and giving us some great pointers and advice!

Will never be returning to Terra again. I had a cart full of plants and flowers and when I came to pay for them, found out that the store doesn't accept cash due to COVID. They claimed it is due to safety. It is unimaginable to me that a store located within Canada refuses to take Canadian bills. Not only does it not makes sense in regards to covid, but it also excludes a huge number of the population with limited payment forms from purchasing essential goods. Maybe Terra would do well to make sure that its staff can clean their hands (like most all other stores and companies) instead of not accepting Canadian cash. As for the claim that cash is not accepted due to "covid safety", the WHO has come out and said that there is no evidence that cash is transmitting the virus. Furthermore, it has been stated that the risk of handling money is similar to other objects that we come into contact with on a daily basis (doorknobs, counters, registers, shopping carts etc.). Terra Hamilton doesn't even disinfect their shopping carts for their customers and employees (as witnessed on location) - that alone shows how much they care about "safety" - yet they will not accept cash? ! Ridiculous. Will NEVER be back here and from now on will purchase my plants and flowers from small retailers. I have spent thousands of dollars at Terra over the years. Never again.

Absolutely gorgeous selection but it seems many are infested with aphids and mealy bugs: (: (: (

Awesome greenhouse. Lots of stuff besides plants.
Pictures, candles, lawn ornaments, hanging baskets, planters, padio furniture, hanging swing chairs, garden tools, solar lights, tables, word signs, etc. Friendly staff and knowledgeable about what they sell. Located on Rymal just outside of the city. Worth the drive.

We visited Hamilton store today and wanted to pay cash. Cashier informed us that they've been instructed by their headquarters not to except cash payments because of covid. You can pay cash anywhere else but not at terra stores. I guess virus attacks terra customers only.

Very clean and well arranged store w friendly staff. You can buy all manner of plants both indoor and outdoor, as well as accessories for your home and patio. A bit pricy on some items but if you keep an eye on the sales you can normally purchase things for fairly reasonable prices. The plants are always well taken care of and they have a large selection of beautiful pots in various sizes. Would recommend.

First time shopping there. Stood in line for about 6 minutes to get in. Felt very comfortable because masks are a requirement to get in. Don't wonder why the city of Hamilton has so many covid cases when other reviews are bad and accuse businesses of human rights violations. As far as I can tell, my human right to not get a deadly virus is being protected by stores that follow the law. Heard a social distancing announcement too. Great!

Staff were very helpful, the girl I asked for help was new and couldn't answer but she quickly got a more experienced employee for me. Selection for herbs was great and they had lots of big houseplants.

No line at cash- easy in and out for what I needed. Will be going back.

Store refuses entry to any medically exempt person from wearing masks.and the store refuses to take cash.also, while on property they make their staff wear double masks and shield visors in 30 degree heat outdoor.major human rights violations.

I was denied entry being medically exempt from wearing a mask, I even identified what my reason was and had my doctor letter, but they treated me like a criminal.and they also do not except cash, so total globalist agenda being followed clearly.

Waaaaay too over priced! Quality is meh, soooo many amazing local nurseries in the area, with great customer service, great prices and very knowledgeable staff. Why should one go to Terra?

Talked to someone there who was very pleasant and helpful. Showed me a lot of choices for my planters. She approached me and asked if I needed help and I'm very happy she did. Fantastic service!

So happy with my extremely healthy plant seedlings from Terra Greenhouse! I picked them up yesterday and they are the best looking seedlings I've ever bought. Great company.

Just been there, good plants, staff not very knowledgeable. Nice wide isles, but when they refused to take cash I was beside myself. They are just promoting the globalist agenda. Should have left right there. Never again

This place was huge and I have been hitting up aloooot of garden shops the past 2 months and I found it to be expensive. Great selection and a couple plants I havnt seen anywhere else but if you are doing bigger garden projects on a budget, this might not be the right place. Still happy with what I got

Great curbside service! Not sure I would want to be in those long lineups, but curbside was fast and efficient! I felt very safe with protocols in place.

They dont accept cash! That's all we had and they would not accept it! They lost a $150.00 sale. They have nice stuff, but over priced! Wont go back

My husband and I were very disappointed with the fact that they don't take cash. We spent close to $300.00 and we ended up putting it on our Visa card. Instant payment. Their sign is not very big when you go in and it says cashless payments only. They need to post a bigger sign so that it's more visible.

In store experience very frustrating.lack of concise signage and few staff on the floor. Went looking for a specific product and took 30 mins to finally find. Went with my friend who is a senior so she was right beside me to ring in her items separately. Cashier was very curt and impatient with her. I had to interfere to help my friend get answers to her very legitimate questions. Sorry Terra in Rymal.you may have great branding and promises but talk is cheap when it comes down to the instore experience. You should be so grateful to be able to remain open during lockdowns that are crippling other businesses. If I was your head of Customer Relations, I would be reminding my staff daily how grateful they are to be able to keep working. Will never go back and will continue to ensure others don't have to experience what my friend and I endured.

I was impressed with the workshop today. I was welcomed by Roseanne and she made me feel comfortable. She had space for me to put my coat and purse. The work area was clean and I had easy access to the materials that were provided. I wasn't rushed and I had time to look around and choose a free ornament. Thank you Roseanne for your patience and for being funny

Excellent garden shop, massive and lots of selection. Sadly, a bit overpriced, I can only leave with a few items at a time.

The place itself is very clean, the staff are awesome, the products are ok, but, the prices are completely outrageously high, this place is the most expensive place I've been to in a long while. I'm actually surprised they don't try to charge for entry.

They have nice arrangement of succulents. They cost a little more but definitely worth it. Each succulent on its own is priced great as well. They have wide selection of plants that you can put together that could make a centre piece. Or if you are into big plants (almost a tree) they have it there too! Go visit them and see for yourself.:)

The quality of plants and accessories is amazing but you do pay for it. I'm frugal and I find it a splurge worth indulging in.

Some friends of mine bought me a Fiddle Fig Leaf from here that was potted incorrectly for this plant type and Wendy the manager was gracious enough to let me exchange the pot and plant with no hassle whatsoever.
Overall a really great experience

Beautiful selection of plants, trees and shrubs. They also have a large indoor section with everything from umbrella's to clothes.
If you don't find it here you may not find it.

Great service! I've been searching for a garden center that will help me learn how to take care of my garden and I found one! Marilyn walked with me around the store and helped me pick flowers for the front of my house. She also gave me tips on how to tend my flowers. I'll be going back!

Leesa and the crew at Terra Gardens were absolutely incredible assisting us with the landscaping for our backyard project. We came in with a plan and they provided their advice in terms of any tweaks in amounts and quantity and recommended the best times to purchase to give us the best cost savings. They really kept our budget and needs in mind. We would highly recommend Terra Gardens for your landscaping planting needs and if you have a project on the larger side work with them because it will definitely pay off! Saved us tons vs working with a landscaper and the final results are gorgeous! When they delievered the plants they also left a thank you note and gift which was such a nice touch and so unexpected! Thanks guys!

Love this place. Always fantastic deals, the staff seem really proud to work there, and the selection is great. It reminds me of a HomeSense & garden centre combined.

Just passing by but a nice “pit stop” and it has a good bit of locked and gated private property close by!

Bought a peach tree, hydrangea and Japanese maple. It was a little pricey but they give a warranty of a year to return the plant if not satisfied. Will definitely take advantage if so cause I have spend alot of money on plants that did not meet my expectations from other stores with no warranty.

Please do something about the music. I left with a headache after you guys loudly blasted Spice Girls.

Dropped in to look for spring outdoor planted pots. Didn't have anything. Nice store though. Will go back when we're in the area and they have more stock.
