TERRA Greenhouses - Waterdown

One of the best places to buy good quality flowers, bushes, trees and perennials. Lots to look at.

I bought a dead eucalyptus assuming was alive but it apparently they aren’t supposed to be crunchy. I know that now.

They would not exchange, no store credit, it or anything. I paid full price. I bought a dead plant.

Horrible customer service and guarantee policy. For how expensive this place which I frequent often, one would think it would have a better policy especially for tropical plants which are UP CHARGED and fall under “annuals” no return policy.

DON’T BUY TROPICAL PLANTS HERE.

Customer Service here is absolutely phenomenal! They know all about the products they sell and produce and are really passionate too.

Was helped by Jacob who was excellent in helping us find the plants we needed! Brilliant service by him!

I went in to TERRA to have one plant repotted and bought another plant as well and had it repotted also. Emma is the one who helped me with this and I can't say enough just how wonderful she was.
Emma explained and taught me more in the few minutes there than I had learned in the past couple of years on how to care for plants. So very grateful! She even took the time to show me which fertilizer would be best and how to read and understand what the numbers mean on it.
Thank you Emma, and I hope that TERRA recognizes what great employees they have.

They have a wide range of beautiful flowers and plants to choose from. The staff was quite helpful too.

Everything is good quality and the service is good too. The only complaint is that some of the prices are unreasonable they are double even triple of what some of their competitors.

Terra is our go to place to find beautiful plants. A lot of choices, good price, and super nice employees.

I bought all my plants from Terra this year. Excellent quality and their selection is massive! My favorite greenhouse.

Disappointed in the over priced Christmas tree we bought at Terra last weekend. Even though we cut a piece off the end of the trunk and have been watering daily tons of needles just keep falling. Will buy from & support a local tree farm in future.

Great quality and selection of plants and fun giftware. I have even purchased clothing there:) Always enjoy visiting.a couple times a season.

Fantastic selection. Everything is very fresh and vibrant. Love getting our flowers and vegetables here.

Great selection of quality grown plants. We take advantage of their weekly sales and have completely redone gardens at great savings, with fantastic plants.
Large selection of houseplants, including some rarer species. Best selection of air plants I've found anywhere near Guelph.

My husband and I love to come here and check out what new plants we can add to our collection at home. The store has good stock, staff is friendly, and everything is neatly organized. They also make such cute holiday floral arrangements as well!

Bonus — This store is pet friendly, so we always take our dog along with us on our shopping trips:)

I have been shopping at this Terra location for years. I am always so happy with the quality of plants they carry. The staff at Terra is always friendly and willing to help. I find this particular location to have the best selection, and make a point of stopping in regularly to see what's new.

They have a good variety but, staff are overworked with little to no real knowledge, and they are incredibly overpriced. They really don't care for the plants any better than walmart, which is not reflected in their pricing of course. You think you're getting good quality plants but either they are imported and sold before they go into shock or watered incorrectly, killing all the roots! The best part is, there isn't even anyone that knows the proper care for many of the plants, especially the orchids, they just water all of them the same! Many plants are also infested with bugs, their motto is just to sell everything before it looks bad. The manager is extremely condescending, which is funny considering her lack of plant knowledge

Ask about their succulents, inserted into mother of pearl seashells, O my, i found the cutest pink and green one. Played dress up with hats and gorgeous sweaters in change room; photo op. Christmas sale finds. Staff are over the top knowledge on the plants, and we can watch them pot things, learn many tips; thank you Terra staff, had a great time. Super nature place; to soothe our souls.

Dropped by this place a couple of weeks before Christmas and was impressed with the available selection. The place is also well-organized. Especially love the very creative Christmas displays in front of the entrance. A big beautiful green house to wander on a grey winter day is a treat!

Definitely a worthwhile place to check back every season.
