Fantastic Italian restaurant! Eating above the bakery/factory, and the smell is incredible. The store also has some excellent goodies.

Food was good, but in the service i felt racism, we ordered the pizza, server said they don’t slice them as per their kitchen rule, at that time we understood.but very next second he sliced the pizza for the people who were sitting right next to our table. Which doesn’t feel right.

Amazing food and service with a unique setting.

Definitely recommend it if you're in the area, from the outside you wouldn't realise what it was.

First time eating here and I absolutely loved this place. Service was amazing, our waitress took the time to thoroughly explain the menu and the place to us. Staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. Would definitely come back here!

Fantastic lunch. Food is top quality and the price point for what you get is, IMO, quite good. Atmosphere is very cool with a working factory type environment. May seem silly but the dill pickle that came with the burger was SO GOOD that I purchase two bottles of it in the attached grocery store. Burger was served medium, which is very nice, and was on a very soft bun. The ketchup for the potatoes was house made I think, and great.

The store is nice and inside the restaurant is nice but for some reason their patio is NOT dog friendly.

I’ve previously been to other Terroni locations and this is definitely a very different experience! We were seated on the patio on a warm, sunny Sunday and the atmosphere was amazing! We were served promptly and our server, Victoria, gave us wonderful menu suggestions which we really enjoyed!

We ordered the oysters and caprese con burrata to start — Both were very appetising. The oysters tasted very fresh with a hint of seawater, it was so delicious on its own we found it better without the horseradish and sauce. The burrata was worth the splurge, the creaminess paired very well with the tomatoes. I wish it was served with more bread as the two slices did not suffice given the generous portion.

For mains, we got the spaghetti al limone and tonnarelli alla norcina. The spaghetti al limone was perfect for a summer night — don’t be fooled by simple-looking description, this pasta was a perfect balance between creaminess and citrusy notes. The parmesan also added a touch of richness that truly tied the dish together. The tonnarelli was delicious as expected, though I did find it a little too oily towards the end. The homemade sausage was very flavourful and paired well with the overall flavour profile, though I wish the truffle flavour was more prominent and less overpowered by the other components. Overall, both dishes were amazing and the Terroni pasta quality remains to be one of the best I’ve ever had.

We don’t usually order dessert, but the al volo jars were very enticing! We ended up getting the raspberry panna cotta and tiramisu, which were both delectable. The panna cotta had a beautiful vanilla flavour which paired very well with the bright berry notes! The tiramisu was very rich and creamy as a tiramisu should be. Not overly sweet, so that you can enjoy every layer of the flavour profile.

This was a wonderful meal as a whole, with a beautiful atmosphere. Will be back for sure!

The best Italian food I've had in years. In-house pasta, great pizzas. Highly recommend the beef ravioli.

Ravioli spinach and a pizza everything was so dry and doesn’t deserve $110

Ordered grilled veggies 2 pastas, 3 beers, dessert. Service is excellent and warm.

Everything was great except grilled veggies were more on the burnt side. I could have sent it back but my 4 year old has already taken a small bite from each veggie so it felt weird to send it back.

Very fine dining place. The olive oil they offer with the bread service is of a very good quality. The burrata is creamy and the seasoning used makes it so flavourful. The calamaris are a treat. I also highly recommend the sea bass and the raviolis as main dishes.

An updated review! A lovely evening out at Spaccio! If you’re a fan of the original Terroni restaurants the 2 locations are their bakery and pantry outposts where most of their products are made in house. I’m so glad I live nearby this location as I frequently come here to purchase their freshly made bakery and pantry items and stock up on my fav dishes, condiments, fresh produce and so much more! I enjoyed a lovely dinner with some amazing company tonight! It’s been too long! They have many of the same menu options from Terroni including some of my fav dishes seen here - The funghi assoluti and the grilled octopus! Delicious! They have a great selection of wine and house cocktails, although not my fav Paloma - They do make a pretty solid #old fashioned though! TY for the lovely hospitality as always!

Delicious meal and good service! My main came our cold, but the servers instantly got me a fresh hot one. Recommend a visit.

Amazing food. Quaint atmosphere. Service was super friendly. I definitely would go back and I love the fact there is a market so you can purchase your favourite dishes and desserts in the market, the ingredients and the frozen food options too.

I like pasta and pizza here! Toto is a good choice if you’re a big fan of mushroom. Absolutely a great restaurant if you visit Distillery District.

Great atmosphere. High quality and extensive menu. Delicious! Staff was really friendly and helpful navigating the menu. The grocery store is so good too!

First time here. Salad was fresh and nice mix of ingredients. Shared a mushroom pizza which was delicious. The pizza crust is like a pastry - light and airy, yet crispy. Good selection on the menu. Interesting to sit upstairs and watch what goes on in the shop and store below. Definitely coming back.

Great food all the way, eat in or take to go.

Service needs some help and support. The counter people 1 was great. 2 others need some people training. For the table seating for eating in there were 3 employees at one point having an argument about something in front of filled tables.

You can eat outside or inside. The food was very good: Calamari Fritti, Caprese Di Bufala, Ravioli Ricotta and Spinach, Tagliatelle alla Bolognese.

It was just OK. Was very off-put by the server proudly declaring (after I asked about changes to dishes for folks with allergies) "we are known for not making changes to our dishes". Wasn't a very welcoming environment. I was able to have two dishes on the menu because of the restaurant's attitude towards people who can't eat certain ingredients. I definitely won't rush back here.

Draft beer: very light beer and soft texture
Calamari: the fried crust outside was so light and crunchy, the inside was super soft with the perfect seasoning. With drops of lemon, it’s perfect as an appetizer
Pizza Regina: the size of the pizza shocked me, presentation was awesome too, with different kinds of cherry tomatoes, prosciutto and cheese, it is the perfect Friday night pizza:)
Seafood pasta: the pasta is harder I would like (it might be the authentic way to do it but I like my pasta soft)

Delicious authentic and fresh food to go for a quick bite. Lots of choices and many yummy prepared items to take home for a busy weeknight. Pricey but good quality.

The prices are just astronomical.it's completely outrageous to sell small jar of sauce for CAD 15. Honestly was in complete shock. Concept is interesting but they should review the prices.

Other locations are good, but it was the worst experience this time. The waitress was nice at first, we didn't order appetizers, she lost her smile on her face immediately lol we asked for napkins, she gave us one. She walked away immediately after she served the food, didn't even ask if we want black pepper or anything. It wasn't even a busy day (off lunch hour). The next time when she came back was when we almost finish the food. Pasta is usually al dented here, except this time, but we didn't even get a chance to let the waitress know. Bad experience, may not be back at this location next time

The food here is quite good and it’s a pretty decent place to get something special on the East End. But holy, this place does not pass the vibe check when it comes to other patrons. I went there twice this week and the first time, someone shouted at another patron for leaving their dog outside the restaurant and another time I got yelled at by a stranger for wearing a mask. I don’t know why this place attracts angry men but it is not it.

Today, my sister and I went there to have our dinner; however, they gave us a table near the garbage boxes, and then that’s why it’s OK; however, their workers suddenly started to work with the garbage boxes
And a terrible smell came. We asked them to change the table, and they did not help us. I spoke with the manager she does it care and I paid my receipt I leaves. Also they did not offered anything. Actually I don’t want to wait anything but it is terrible. In future I will not visit them.

I went for lunch today and felt sick after. I suspect that I got food poisoning from the bolognese pasta.

I love this place, go here all the time to pick up wine or sweets. I picked up a lemon loaf yesterday which I discovered today has a very long piece of hair imbedded. Attaching a video to show that the hair actually comes out of the loaf, and not just on top of it. This obviously grossed me out, but my other experiences have been great. Please take extra care of hair when baking/cooking anything specially on this large of a scale.

It might take longer than usual to get your order or a bill. Somehow only a server that serves a particular zone can prepare a bill.
Overall good quality of dishes and products they sell in the shop. Nothing extraordinary.

Went early Saturday morning for coffee (1 double capp and 1 macchiato) and a cornetto a crema $3.25 (aka Italian breakfast of champions). Very, very good. Fast, friendly service. Outside seating with umbrellas.

Amazing food and great atmosphere. Have been served by Linda twice and her service and hospitality are first class! Thank you for a great experience yet again.

What an enchanting afternoon on the patio. The wine selection was fab and the salads were perfect. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable, but, Isabel was the cherry on top. She greeted us with a smile. She was generous and accommodating. What a treat.

No better Italian place in this area. Delicious pizzas, coffee, desserts and Panna Cottas. It simply satisfies every time.

Pros:
- service was excellent. 11/10, many wonderful servers helping out my table last night just for our group of 2.
- bread basket with olive oil is.shockingly to die for. And free of charge.
- we ordered 2 pastas. One with the lamb ragu, one with the tomato sauce and bacon. Sauces were DEVINE.
-very fast service.

CON:
-pasta was very undercooked. I think the worst mistake is to overcook pasta, so under cooking jsnt the worst, however it wasnt just slightly undercooked (I like it slightly undercooked), but the pasta was quite hard. Edible still, but as the dish cooled down (I'm a slow eater and we were sitting outside), the pasta became inedible because it was so hard.

That being said, the pros outweighed the cons, and we will return to try new menu items, but I'm a little sad about the pasta. Easy fix though!

Good coffee, food is great and the desserts are amazing! I frequent this spot Farely often and have taken friends from out of town here with great feed back.

Cute little patio and a reliably tasty Teroni menu. Service was very good and it was nice to be able to buy a few treats from the market inside for later at home.

This THE spot to have good bread in Toronto, croissants, cheese and cold cuts are also amazing!

The smell attracted me when i walked pass the neighbourhood.amazing vibe of the space they’ve got here, a decent selection of pantry, fresh, frozen foods, as well as the baked goods.soft pillowy bomboloni, crusty croissants, really make a day so much better.have not tried the coffee so i can’t comment on those, but really friendly service.

This place is hidden gem!

Inside the building, there are tones of Italian goodies, such as pizza, frozen pasta, pastries, gelato and wine! They also sell plates and dishes imported from Italy. After exploring the store, we opt to sit down at the patio.

It was a hot day but it wasn't too bad to sit at the patio with cold sparkling water and white wine. We trusted our server's recommendation on the Vermentino white wine, it was well-balanced, not too mineral and overall a nice mellow white wine. We do ask for a crisp white wine but this one is not crisp. Price is $25 for the bottle, and add a $20 corkage fee on top.

Caprese ($21) consists of fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and bread on the side. The tomatoes is very sweet and mozzarella is great to enjoy with the bread.

Seafood cavatelli ($18) is cooked to al dante, but we didn't enjoy the flavor. Perhaps it's Italian style that there is no/ very little sauce.

Beef carpaccio ($16) is very heavy on the mayo. I find it too overpowering.

The nocciola gelato ($5.5 one scoop) is smooth with hazelnut flavor. I'd recommend this to any hazelnut lovers.

To end our meal, we ordered an espresso ($2.5) and it arrived piping hot. It was very good and we ordered another one after we pay the main bill.

Due to covid, they did not provide any physical menu. Customers are asked to scan the QR code to view the menu. Seating between tables are sufficient.

The beautiful plants do attract a lot of bees, but the bees are mostly hanging around the plants and not really bothering the humans. I think there's lavender, rosemary and other types of herbs.

Service is good and all the staff are very nice. Regarding some comments about staff not wearing masks, we find all the staff are wearing masks but some of them not wearing them properly (eg.not covering the nose).

Service was great, people were kind. The drinks were well made. The pasta was fresh but was missing some salt and pepper, veal in the bolognese was a bit stringy.
