I purchased my Tesla Model 3 Long Range from the Tesla Oakville Dealership. On delivery day, I reported two defects with my Tesla vehicle to the manager of the Dealership.

The car dealership manager named Sheraz was very condescending to me and family when we reported the defects, which made the entire car-buying process very unpleasant. His dismissive attitude towards my questions and concerns left us feeling disrespected.

After speaking to Sheraz, we ended up taking our questions to a sales staff named Harveen, and she was able to answer all of our questions and concerns with a kind and friendly attitude.

A more customer-friendly approach from the managers would greatly improve the overall experience at this dealership, especially when you are paying $65,000 or more for a vehicle.

My husband and I came here today. There is a car that I wanted to purchase but needed some details. I walked in and the sales rep continued to talk to others in the store before looking up, and telling us to go take a look at 2 unlocked cars outside (neither of which I had intended to purchase). After looking at them, we came back in, with no one to assist us for 15 minutes before we walked out. I’ll go to the Tesla in Etobicoke instead. The service here was absolutely pathetic. I am beyond disappointed and will not be returning.

Extremely garbage purchasing experience. I was offered $9300 for my trade in. The offer was changed to $5400 within 24 hrs.

One of the best test drive experience I had with any car dealer. They just give the car key to you and you can drive around for 30mins. No hassle of salesman constantly following up if I’m interested to buy. Planning to book a model Y or X, bit confused between both of them.

Very bad customer service. I got the estimate on trade in on 18th April 2023 as 35k and then booked my car with Tesla on 26th April after budgeting my monthly EMIs. Closer to delivery date on 15th May 2023 they reduced the trade in value by 6k. Now the customer service agent is asking me to confirm if I want to take off trade in or not! You guys tricked me and left me in spot where I have to run in the market for selling my car at a better price.

I bought a Tesla Y just one and half months back suddenly on the road the steering started moving by itself towards the left side. I literally put the steering wheel 15-20 degrees towards the right hand side to make the vehicle move in a straight direction. I got an appointment for servicing in Oakville, Ontario and they showed me these two scratches on the back wheel rim as an external impact that caused the wheel alignment to go wrong. I explained to them that these two scratches might be because of a parking kerb which sometimes happens normally while parking.
The service representative said that the vehicle must have gone into some potholes which causes such vehicle alignment failures. He quoted his own similar experience. I really don’t remember any severe impact or any jumping of potholes etc with the vehicle. Obviously if this happens then it should have some impact on the body of the vehicle too but there are no such things. I seriously think that there are some manufacturing defects in the suspension of my car which is causing all these troubles.
In my opinion the car is meant to be driven on roads and not on a carpet or mattress. Now I am not feeling safe driving my Tesla Y at all and I will never recommend anyone to buy one.

Staff is nice when they actually talk to you but for the most part there’s no one around to answer any questions. We went for a test drive and couldn’t even find an employee so we could return the keys. If you need to ask questions or you just want some help with choosing a car, this isn’t the place to go. Google does a better job of giving information

They have incapable service technicians. I went three times to fix the rattling noise, and they didn't take it seriously, just passing bucks on Tesla headquarters. Finally, I took my car to the service center in Mississauga, and kudos to them. They fixed the issue, and their customer service was exceptionally excellent. I will never come back to Oakville Center again

Tesla makes great vehicles, but that's where it stops. Please hope you never have to go in for service. They never return calls, or follow up. The only good feeling is getting your car, after that its all downhill.

Unfortunately this might making great electric motors and battery systems. Tesla's customer services pretty atrocious. They're organized only if you can form to their preferred way of doing business.
One of the most glaring issues with this particular site, which is Oakville is the obvious irresponsibility with which staff are treating vehicles in the lot.
The water's not overcrowded, but two cars are parked in handicap spots and two cars were sitting there for at least a half an hour and probably overnight with double blinkers on so who knows who left those on.
I get the distinct impression in the staff. Just don't care which is really unfortunate.

I came Saturday with my family
I was really excited when I reached there for test drive
But my excitement gone when I was told that you have to wait for long time even though I booked my test drive for 4 pm
I waited at least 30 mins and still there are some ahead customers waiting for drive
I left without test drive and very disappointed and thought that Tesla is big name but poor customer service
One of your sales representative discouraged me to lease the vehicle and also mentioned that prices online was not correct and he gave me high quotes than I got online
Overall my experience is very bad

I love electric cars but i realized that there is still a limitation for charger and one thing that annoys me is why does still not have a supercharger at their dealership. They don’t even have one charger to charger your car their. In the whole area there is not a single charger.

Delivery of my new model y included many spider webs in the interior. Shocking considering they charge you $1880 for a "final inspection". Very disappointed in the entire delivery process but especially the overlooking of this interior issue.

My daughter residing at Brampton took delivery of a brand new Green Car electric Tesla on 13 August 22. I loved the way the operational features of the car were explained to us before the car was taken out of the premises. Excellent service for customers

My vehicle was towed here after a nightmare of an experience with a flat tire couple of days ago. We picked up the vehicle yesterday with two new rear tires and the tow hook was still sticking out of the bumper. I guess the service department did not have the courtesy of removing the tow hook and placing it back in the frunk.

Top notch service. The sales experience was awesome and the after sales service is amazing.

Edit: Had my car in for a battery change. They kept it for 1.5months. Hooked me up with a RAV4 and told me I had to pay for the gas expense. The young lady in service is a pain to deal with and it was my bad luck that I always had her whenever I went in for an update. Btw. They did the battery change and forgot to lube something in the joints and now the car is back in with them for squeaky steering

REF: Tesla Model Y Delivery

I am extremely disappointed with the service level from Tesla.

I have not been able to get any firm update on delivery through your website or telephone line. When I call the dealership the telephone response wait time indicates 1 hours and I have waited up to 4 hours without being able to speak to anyone. I would think that Tesla being a technology leader would have a better customer service process.

On 03/12/2022 I ordered a Model Y and was informed of the delivery date of May 2022. As time came closer to the May delivery the date changed July 20 - August 24. Presently I am without a vehicle and suffer hardship since my previous lease came to an end in June 2022.

I am concerned that the delivery window will again be changed, I would appreciate a firm delivery schedule as I expect more clarity from Tesla.

Over 5 hours and still counting waiting for service appointment I had to make to replace the 2 rims that were damaged at my vehicle delivery and not noticed by the PDI. Why did I pay for PDI? Why am I wasting half a day for 2 rims that they should have caught before handing over the vehicle? Bad service. Bad.

Find it ridiculous that they can sell you a car for 98000, give it to you at 60% charge and don’t include some decent charging adapters. You only get the most basic.

Just picked up my car and now can’t go do things because I can’t charge it to what I need.

They are not too bad overall but my latest experience, i was very dissapointed. Starting with the service guy who was very rude and he has no personality. He stated if i dont accept the estimate, he was going to take my car off the hoist and place it outside and he calls me after the service centre is closed so i have no time to even think.i advised him that his estimate is a few thousand dollars and i would need time till the morning. He refused. I requested to speak with the manager who was still around. I also informed him that the parts on my estimate were just changed 6 months ago. He replied, well you went over your kilometers.by 4k.i see how much they stand behind their parts.not even 6months. 3 grand worth of work on suspension. And the check strap, changed 3 times in 6months.garbage parts.too bad.i will add, David from service had been great, Jesse the.mechanic has been great, and the manager has been okay at times but this time he dealt with situation very poorly. Especially when u JUST chages the same parts a few months ago.

Watch Out! As the service was going to take longer than usual i was given a rental car and was told it the cost was completely taken care of. I drove a total of 24km. Toppedup with 10cad gas. Returned the rental car to tesla. 2 days later i got a charge of 102cad from hertz. It's still in dispute now.

Came in to test drive the model y. Diana our advisor was extra helpful and allowed us an opportunity to try the also the model 3. She gave us excellent advice on the vehicles.

We ended up taking the model y performance.

Our overall experience at this tesla location has been great, no pressure and from our advisor Diana. Her willingness to assist us with all our questions was very much appreciated and we would recommend others to stop by at this location.

Cant wait to get our vehicle.

Great cars, good service but their waiting room is gross. No snacks, garbage furniture, gross coffee, nothing to eat in walking distance, no outlets if you want to work while you wait. At least they give you wifi but guys you’re selling 50 cars a day from this location with probably an average of at least $50k per transaction.

Again people are super nice here but please fix this issue without excuses.

Knowledgable and friendly technicians and staff. They do good work, fix only what I ask for, are generous with good will repairs, and stand behind what was done.

I have an older model in the phase of its life that wear components are in need of replacement. They take good care of my car, and trust their judgement.

Be aware that supply chain issues for some of their sensors and eMMC's are causing delays to service times. It's a global shortage, so I'm assuming that this is beyond Tesla's control. If you're in for something electronic, your appointment may get bumped if they don't have your parts in.

I booked a test drive today as I'm interested in purchasing a Model 3. Now asides from the car being absolutely amazing itself, the dealership was slightly different from your usual experience.

I walked in and everything was simple and minimalist with their few front desk staff and their 2 show cars. The test drive experience was seamlessly set up and the how-to before my drive was quick and to the point. I don't like being handheld but I do like when my experience is a seamless one and my questions are answered simply. The representative Mike assisted me, and was a pleasure. He took down my information, handed me the key, explained a few aspects of the vehicle and sent me off on my own to test it out. He was efficient and helpful in answering all of my questions, and followed up via text promptly after to ensure I'd be taken care of if ever need be.

Super pleasant experience!

Customer service needs to improve on communicating/wait time for repairs with the customers. It took them 2 days to fix a camera (still not resolved) and 3 days to fix a software glitch. Both times unless I promoted a question through the app I was left with no clue when my car might be ready.

Wonderful showroom and staff! Test drive and purchasing process was flawless and fun, took the delivery with a few small issues that the shop fixed up over a few days while providing a loaner car in the meantime. Best experience buying and maintaining a car, no doubt about it

This is my second vehicle that has been picked up and serviced at Tesla Oakville. There are some things that are out of their control which is due to manufacturing and the processes at Tesla but what is in their control is how they run the service center. Shawn and Irene along with their team help ensure the customer is happy. Without going into details they helped ensure me that the issues I had would be addressed and their main focus was to rectify any issues to the customers satisfaction. They are true to their word and their integrity is greatly appreciated. Tesla Oakville, if you do read this I know the service center will continue to get busier with the influx of cars on the road; but never change this mindset! Thanks again!

Though initial experience was great with Tim who managed to help answer all questions and help us place an order, everything went downhill from there. Lack of effort to communicate, lack of effort to help rectify my issue. The Manager kept repeating that " this is our policy" instead of addressing my issue. Extremely disapointed in my experience of buying a 75k car.

Fantastic! Simply Fantastic! What else to say! They let you drive vehicle for overnight test drive with absolutely no restrictions except that the car needs to be back by 9: 30am the next day. Plus, supercharger is free! Don't see any other dealer doing this. Correction: this is not a dealership; it's a showroom. Super friendly staff. No pressure tactics to get you to buy - inshort - you like it you buy else good luck with your gas guzzler.

Tl;dr
Great fundamental product, horrible quality with squeaks and non-powertrain defects. Trying to get post-sale service is absolutely abysmal.

Product is, for the most part, absolutely amazing, but the Delivery and Service is unacceptable. I had to wait over an hour for my vehicle pickup on May 31st and when it came time, I wasn’t allowed to inspect the vehicle before taking delivery and was told that everything will be taken care of after delivery.

I inspected the vehicle at home and discovered a few quality issues, but gave it some more time to see what else I uncover. I tried booking a service appointment at my condo building, wasn’t allowed. I then booked at the Mississauga service center, randomly got canceled with no reasoning or communication as to why. I took a chance with Oakville this time. I show up and they had to keep the car until end of day (that’s fine) but no loaners available and offered an Uber credit, which is credits to hop into a vehicle with a stranger that isn’t required to be vaccinated while a strong variant of a global pandemic is on the rise. To some, this may be acceptable. Personally, I find it unacceptable for vehicles at this price point.

The car was in such bad shape when we went to pick it up we had to refuse delivery. Yhere were a tin of chips in the paint, dents and marks all over it. It was not checked prior to handing it over to us. Very disappointed and now we will not buy a Tesla.

As a 3 day new owner I was highly intimidated when my vehicles back door would not open from inside. Angry and scared I created an appointment for a technician to come and fix my door which would be a week later. Within an hour of making this appointment a technician John called me and then came to me the same night on his way home and fixed my door in minutes. I truly felt like he cared about my concern and comforted how i felt through a new customer’s point of view and turned my frustrations into happiness. We have never had that level of service from any car company in the past. My husband and I say thank you very much:)

I am really speechless. After purchasing Model 3 from last years I have been back to the dealer more than 10 times to fix different issues.
Then during one of the visit, the tech damaged my screen protector and I was promised to get reimbursed of 30 dollars. It’s been 6 month and all I was told by the service manager Edwin that it’s in progress week after week follow up. I have asked a branch manager to contact me but never was given the contact information nor a courtesy call for all the trouble I have been going through.
The customer service level is way below standard.

You would think a company like Tesla would really try to help with customer service but let me tell you, after the car is bought they are brutal. I tried purchasing the home charging unit online with the Extended charger, instead they sent me the shorter cable. Seems easy enough to fix, however I’m 2 months into this and can’t get a response from anyone online, and the store manager in Oakville hasn’t been able to help. They just tell me “that’s Tesla online”.

Just brutal. 2 months and I can’t even charge my car at home. No follow ups, no help.just brutal when spending 100K on a car you’d expect much better service and the ability to send me the correct charger.

Car is fine, service I would rather deal with a used car lot where the owner actually cares to resolve an issue.

Electric Cars – The next Environmental disaster! Why would anyone believe electric is the way to go? Yes we need an alternative to fossil fuel but “ELECTRIC IS NOT THE WAY”. Ask yourself these questions, ”: How much fossil fuel does it take to manufacture an electric car? How much fossil fuel does it take to mine the Copper, nickel, lithium and related minerals that are key components used to make electric-vehicle batteries? How much hydro will it take to charge all the anticipated electric vehicles when we are already taxing the system due to global warming and need air conditioning to stay alive? Now comes the most important question…how many batteries are in one electric vehicle and where are we going to dump the billions of acid filled batteries when they are no longer chargeable? If you agree that plastic is currently the number one environmental nightmare, just wait for the billions of batteries to start piling up and killing off the remaining wildlife the plastic missed.

The best Tesla showroom and service center in the GTA, in my opinion. The service advisors are quick to meet you to ensure your inquiries are handled. My advisor in particular, Mike R, has always made sure that my questions are answered and that my concerns, if any, are addressed.

Don't bother trying to call the main line though, they are insanely busy. Better to come in person or email your advisor / call their cell.

Terrible experience buying the car. Confusing and slow process with paperwork and multiple things getting approve by "california office". Confusing automated txts about delivery that meant nothing. Scheduled by tesla over the phone twice to pick up the car but waste of my time since car was still on transit and stock somewhere in the US. I ended up getting a different car than what I custom ordered since the car that I ordered never arrived (after 1 month and a half). Tesla toronto unable to hold financing and trade in values since car was delayed, wanted to give me less money for the trade in? I had to park my trade in car for a month since I couldnt go over the 1600 allowable kms, and tesla couldn't extend it. New car had small defects in paint and panels misaligning. Emails communication took for ever to get a reply, and if you call 9 out of 10 times nobody would pick up tge phone. Complete NIGHTMARE. Bought a tesla model X.

I am extremely happy that I purchased a Tesla and look forward to being a Tesla owner for life. It's honestly so worth it. It changed my life forever. When you get into a Tesla, you are moving to the future.

Very friendly reception and great sales team. Edwin always makes service customers feel valuable which is the only reason I went back for service, however I would recommend getting service done at any of the other Tesla service centres. I truly hope that the service department will improve one day.

Nobody answers the phone, they don’t follow up, impossible to obtain information on upcoming appointments or items such as tire quotes, flat tire sent to this location and impossible to establish contact with service. Terrible customer service for such a high priced luxury product.

Junk. Waited in the showroom for over 20 minutes, was completely ignored, but they had no problem talking to other people that walked in.

Edit: Tired to call. No one picked up and I was transferred to a mailbox that was full. Tried calling back and using a different option and the recording said they were closed (they aren't). This is either massive incompetence or they don't care. Their cars are 6 figures but has a worse sales staff than a Walmart on Black Friday

Don’t bother calling or god forbid leaving a message. They have literally never called back or even answered the phone live.

Put a deposit down on a model s and upon arriving at the dealership at 6: 30 this evening I was told all of the used car people had gonna home and they didn’t know anything about the used car I asked to see the model s and couldn’t even sit in one because of 6 children punching the car and and running around crawling all over them I ended up wondering the lot and was told to some back another night. Not a great start. Definitely put a damper on the excitement I had driving over to the lot

I will be honest as can be. My model 3 is great! But this Tesla showroom and wanna be service center is a disaster. The staff are not knowledgeable and very very disorganized. Missing documents, Phone voicemail mail box is full, They never return calls or emails. Manager should be released from his duties for not only allowing this but doing nothing to improve staff. THE WORST. There are many better Tesla dealers other than the Oakville location. Call a spade a spade!

A lot to be desired. Nobody answers phones. If you do get through, expect to have to follow up. When you follow up, expect that nothing was done. I've not experienced this lack of customer service anywhere else- even calling my bank is a better experience. I hope nothing major happens to my car- it will be a nightmare to deal with based on my experience.

I am apart of a leader ship group in Guelph called Beyond Borders. As a group we went to learn about the business to analyze the store. The Store manager Ishaan was friendly, helpful and informative. All the staff were able to answer any questions that came their way. I would highly recommend this location due to its amazing customer service.

So far dealing with Mandi Pak (Senior delivery experience) has been disappointing. As a new customer taking delivery I am extremely disappointed with a Tesla customer service. Being sent through automated phone systems trying to figure out your order and never getting a live person is pathetic. Being sent an email offer of in stock cars for immediate purchase and then given a date a week later for pickup is a joke and false advertising. Overall unimpressed. Then when I actually get to speak with Mandi and tell her I want to be compensated for my loss of time and frustration and am told "Tesla doesn't do freebies" considering cancelling the whole thing.

So far my only complement was dealing with Manjodh Singh who is a Tesla Advisor at Sherway Gardens Mall. Great communication skills and a pleasure to deal with. Tesla needs to improve his hours of work as he seems to be unavailable a lot. He is hard working and deserves full time employment.

Frustrating experience all round. Speaking to a human is next to impossible! Whether you call here or the location in Mississauga! Ive been on the phone for he past 2 hours trying to speak to someone about the error in my Model 3. I finally got to chat with someone on line (after waiting 20 mins), now it's impossible to speak to someone in Oakville to bring my car in. Im just going to have to show up and hope they have a replacement car I can have if they keep mine! Seriously considering cancelling my Model Y!

I purchased a brand new Model 3 Performance, it was great customer service and all that until I noticed scratches behind the passenger seat on the plastic panel. Apparently you have to notice any manufacturer's defects within 24hr for them to fix it or it's more money out of your pocket. Less than what's expected after purchasing an 85,000$ vehicle. Regardless, I sent an email and hadn't received a response after sending another one a month later telling me it's too late and I'd have to pay, goodluck.

I walked in to the showroom with a friend of mine. She is considering an electeic vehicle and, like most women our age, she likes to see the item and get some information before making a large purchase.
The showroom was bright and cheerful. The display vehicles were attractive. My favourite colour is the red.
There did not seem to be a lot of staff. We sat for a while watching the two young sales men chat with two gentlemen. We were not acknowledged. This is why they don't get 5 stars. A nod or a smile in our direction would have been nice. Perhaps we were the wrong gender?
