Tesoro Restaurant

As some reviews state plenty of parking, the food doesn't come close to Italian dishes. The flavors weren't desirable, very distasteful, actually. This sounds harsh, but it is true. Service was good. However, it is one of the worst places I've been to regarding taste. Need to get good tasting food with authenticity. Hopefully, things will get better. Do not recommend it. Four different dishes, and no one had a good dish.

Between the tantalizing aroma of garlic and fresh baked bread and the absolute cozy and artistic atmosphere, the food takes it to another level! We have been guests of Tesoro’s for over a decade and the consistently delicious food.
The salads, pizzas and world famous curry mussels are reason enough to make this a must visit when in Collingwood!

We arrived when they first opened, and then the place exploded with good energy as it filled with guests. Reservation is a good idea if planning a visit during peak times.

This was a lovely place for an Italian dinner. It might be on expensive side but the food was so good it was worth it. The servings were large so we had take aways.

Conveniently located next to a large parking lot. Service was on the slow side though the server was friendly and courteous. I took two apps to try for lunch and while the mussels were good I was disappointed by the mushroom arancini. Nothing like I’ve ever had before in other restaurants. These were like fried giant meatballs. Dense, dry and hard…. I addressed this and I was reassured there’s rice and mushrooms and no meat but I definitely didn’t taste or “feel” rice. They resembled meatballs. I had to cut them up and soak in the mussel wine sauce to eat them and in the end couldn’t finish them.

We went for Thanksgiving dinner and, having just returned from a fabulous trip to Italy, our meal did not disappoint. It was sooo good - truly like being right back in Italy. Authentic ingredients and dishes. Delicioso! The service was wonderful too. I can’t wait to go back ASAP! Thanks Tesoro

What a fabulous experience! As a GF, vegan, my option are usually very limited when I go out to dinner. The manager (Jess) and hostess (Mandy) made sure I had options and they went out of their way to accommodate my needs! Alex was also incredibly helpful since there was an issue with our reservation, which he quickly fixed! It was such a wonderful experience and so great to know there is a place in town I can dine at that is willing to accommodate a GF vegan.:) thank you Tesoro!

Food was terrible out of the box lasagna, very small portions, calamari were mixed with Potato and sausage was terrible on top of it was priced.

We ordered the PEI mussels in a creamy curry sauce and it was absolutely divine! The service was great! We definately plan to go back!

Most enjoyable atmosphere in the area. Also the most well executed Italian menu! This place is a treat for anyone that cherishes a unique and relaxing dining experience.

Food was amazing! We're so glad we treated our group to this place. Venue was accommodating to our group needs, staff were very friendly and personable, but the food was the best.

I've been vegetarian most of my life and the two veg pasta options on the menu were perfection. Farfalle en rose had a great balance with rapini and olives and in a lovely rose sauce. Mushroom ravioli was delicately kissed with the balsamic reduction, apples, and walnuts. The meat eaters said the cesar with chicken and house made dressing was great but the chicken a bit dry. Fettuccini carbonara was creamy, Lasagna wasn't drowning in tomato sauce and was perfectly portioned.

Tiramisu was fantastic - and large! Tartufo with chocolate and raspberry was out of this world. Gelatos were refreshing.

It was the long weekend, so it may have been busier than usual, and so meals took a while to come out, but they came out hot. I wish the server had checked on us more or gave us more bread or something for the long wait. Very friendly server.

It was worth it, though. An incredible meal all around the table.

What a birthday!
It's still one of our favourite places to eat. It has been a while, but for my birthday dinner, the hubby and daughter surprised me with an early dinner at one of my favs. Daughter and hubby love the pizza, for me it's always the seafood, and the must they burratta salad.

I was suggested by a local friend to take my girlfriend here for her 40th birthday dinner while we were in the Blue Mountains for an evening. I’m happy I booked a reservation because the place was packed! I have to say, Alex our host, was absolutely incredible. I work in retail and would love someone with his positive attitude and friendly vibes to work for me. The quality of the food that they pump out of that tiny kitchen is next level cooking. The food was hot, delicious, and Alex made my drink just as spicy as I prefer it. Overall, an exceptional experience and will definitely be coming back again soon!

The absolute worst experience I've had in a restaurant in my entire life. Food was absolutely horrible and when I asked the waitress to do something about it she said that I should have read the menu better. I can't believe I had to pay for this garbage. My suggestion to you would be avoid it the plague.

Went for my husband's birthday and did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious! We got chicken with gnocchi and salmon with a carbonara spaghetti on the side. Chocolate cake was also fabulous! Great service will definitely go back. It's a quite small restaurant so a little noisy. The patio looks really nice which I'd like to try next time.

Ordered bruschetta and lasagna. Good food, good service and nice atmosphere! Patio is nicer than indoors:)

Went for anniversary dinner, was fantastic, veal something special, was amazing, best calamari I’ve ever had in any restaurant ever. Margarita pizza have to get every time.

I was surprisingly disappointed visiting Tesoro. The food was mediocre at best; the pizza we had way too much char on it - our fingers were covered in black powder. The service was very slow and not what I would expect for a nicer restaurant. Definitely won't be coming back.

My favorite restaurant in town! Every single menu item sounds amazing & so far everything we’ve ordered is delicious. Cozy and romantic in the winter and a fantastic patio in the summer!

Recently ordered the fungi salad and 3 pizzas for takeout and was extremely disappointed. The salad was sour from the amount of dressing and the mushrooms were very dry and overcooked. Not sure if the ingredients changed, but the last time we ordered the fungi salad it was amazing! It had a delicious balsamic glaze with Parmesan cheese and this time around those were not added to it. The pizza was sad to say the least considering the cost! Dominos could give you a better tasting pizza for a quarter of the price!
