These folks are the greatest. They realy know what they are doing from start to finish, and most importantly dealing with customs and crossing the border into the US. They are polite, professional, and keep you in the loop all the way. They picked up a vintage Jaguar for me in Ontario CA and delivered to my home in the United States - safe and sound without a hitch. They are service oriented, answered all my questions and helped me through the process, A+.

Clear disregard for the community when they illegally block bike lanes, forcing bicycles into traffic.

Might want to check that the speed governor is actually on the truck as someone was driving at least 115km/hr on the QEW and passing vehicles left and right april 10th heading into niagara.not so good for a company that ships: S

I've used TFX twice for my cars and a motorcycle and had no issues. They are usually a bit more than some of the others but again I didn't have any issues

We stored our classic car here for a few weeks at the end of winter. Everyone here was easy to deal with, the warehouse was spotless and the employees knew what they were doing. I was 100% comfortable handing over my keys. We will be coming back here if we need to store our cars again.

Not recommended, I've shipped plenty of vehicles with a number of shipping companies, but I've never encountered an attitude this poor dominating the initial quote.

TFX did an incredible job of shipping my 1974 Honda 750 from Kansas to Calgary, Alberta. The bike arrived in excellent condition and there were no issues with getting across the border. Milan, the driver who dropped the bike off, was also an amazing person. Super personality, and very skilled to be able to drive into areas like where we live. I highly recommend TFX to anyone looking to ship a car or motorcycle.

I originally gave 1 star review because I was frustrated with the process that took months. I think communication could be better and it should be stressed to the person from the start that if they are importing a vehicle to the US that it will take weeks before they will get the customs form to register the car. Few people read the fine print on one page of 21 pages that needed to be filled out and after importing 3 cars before myself I wasn’t expecting that news. I am updating my rating today after receiving my car successful today (on my birthday) and happy that the driver Patrick did get the form stamped for me so I don’t have to wait.

You turned a very anxious and nervous process into a no brainer.

Your patience, understanding and professionalism was so greatly appreciated!

Overall, TFX was great. They gave me a reasonable quote, and my delivery date was not too far off the estimated one. Caitlyn the dispatcher was very friendly and helpful to all my questions, and so was the truck driver Mike.

TFX delivered a vehicle to our daughter in Massachusetts. The driver Patrick went above and beyond what was required. He managed to get the customs form stamped which is very rare nowadays. We extremely appreciated his effort. We wouldn’t hesitate to use TFX again.

I had two cars moved from Massachusetts to Toronto (Milton ON) by TFX. I was nervous in the beginning and flooded them with queries for several weeks. TFX staff showed patience to answer all queries. Eventually everything went well and the cars were moved and handed over in good condition. Cars were clean as they were in the Covered Trucks. The driver who picked the cars from US and the one who handed them to me were very good and cordial. My CRV had battery problems, as the cars were kept idle in my friend's house for a month. But looks like, TFX driver cared to charge it enough so that the delivery is smooth. All the staff members were helping and I got the the car the next day it arrived in Canada. The only issue was that the cars were picked a week later than expected, mainly because I had to push the original pickup date for a week due to a flight cancellation, and after that TFX could not guarantee the preferred pickup date - I have no complaints. So in case you have changes in your plan, be proactive and inform the new dates ASAP. There could be communication glitches, be proactive to contact respective staff and clear misunderstanding and have things done. They welcome your interactions.

I recently had my dream car shipped from a dealer in British Colombia to Ontario with TFX and the whole process was fantastic! Friendly and professional communication all along the way gave me confidence my vehicle was in good hands. The drivers were courteous, meticulous and experienced. It's unfortunate that I have to write this however, it's important everyone know my experience.

I have used TFX 3 times over the years, and had good success on the first two shipments.

This review is about my 3rd shipment and the lack of responsibility that TFX is holding to make the situation right.

Arriving the morning after my wife gave birth, it was a dark gloomy rainy morning where the car was dirty and I didn't have much time to spend inspecting the car nor could I see anything under the given light conditions.

I immediately drove the car to my driveway a few houses down and parked it until we had recovered, and I had some time to clean the car. When I finally got time to wash and inspect the car I noticed a long 12" scratch along the passenger side. Immediately confirming with the seller and the damage transport paperwork that these were not there before shipping. Reaching out to TFX, Adam investigated. After about a week of no response, I reached out to Adam to find out what was going on.

He informed me that they would not be doing anything to correct the situation as I had waited and accepted the car. HIs offer was to have his detailer buff out the scratches if the car was shipped back to Toronto with them. Ironic, yes I know.

Adam, did not acknowledge or deny the fact that the scratch was not on the paperwork instead commenting that the car has several scratches and chips.

"If I must say, this is a 75k car that has lots of various damages on it as is evidenced by the inventory. "

Snark aside, I'll let you be the judge of this from the pictures below, I think it's obvious that one has nothing to do with the other and that damage done to the car in their possession is their responsibility.

Please be warned should you chose to ship with TFX.

To reply to Christine, the car was washed PRIOR and detailed prior to pickup, by the seller. During your possession the car switched trucks at least twice. Should you want to phone and discuss I'll be more than happy to explain everything I know from A-Z. The bottom line is I'm a return customer, who has never had a problem or claim. I'm not trying to claim something that or scam anyone. I'm posting a review of the unfortunate resolution that never was. I would have expected a more professional response and a real option for resolution. As explained there was some more pressing issues than the arrival of a car.

You should consider in the future things like offering a discount on the next transport, a small amount to the professional removal of the scratch. Anything really.

Doing nothing is terrible way of keeping repeat customers.

A little over due on this review. I was looking to ship a car from Canada to US back in November. With the border being closed it made the situation very difficult. I must have got a million shipping quotes and TFX was the best value. The next lowest quote I had was +$1500 dollars for open air transport. Everyone I spoke to at TFX was really helpful and friendly. They basically did everything needed to get the car safely over the border and let me know when it was ready. Their enclosed container is similar to what you would find shipping super cars. Can’t wait to use this company again in the future.

Top notch services provided by the TFX International team. The whole experience from quoting to pick up to delivery was very professional on both ends. Drivers was very polite and definitely has the Customer first mentality. Then when it arrived the destination, my friend who accepted the delivery on my behalf kept on saying "They are good. They are very good! Very professional" while I was watching the delivery thru video conference. Needless to say, the vehicle delivery was quick as well. The vehicle was picked up in Ottawa on Friday afternoon and arrived Burnaby the following Friday afternoon.:)

Very disappointing.

I am sure TFX is great if nothing goes wrong. It is possible that things rarely go wrong so it's a pity that, when they do, TFX doesn't respond appropriately. In this particular delivery, it is clear that professional after delivery care was not provided and those involved have let down the other departments within TFX that did do a good job.

My experience is of a three week shipment by TFX from Florida to Alberta of a very well kept, 21 year old luxury car I had purchased. Up to the point of delivery to me, I was expecting to give 4-stars to TFX, with only minor issues eliminating the fifth star. The following describes why I am giving only 1-star.

The car has ceramic coating and had been detailed inside and out shortly before pickup. On delivery, it was clean and shining, as I expected, but there were two problems: the delivery driver pointed out a serious scratch on the front bumper; and I discovered a broken park brake release handle, lying on the front passenger's seat.

The BOL (Bill of Lading) condition report, prepared by TFX at pickup and signed by the seller's wife (the seller was in hospital - both are elderly), stated it was prepared in "poor lighting"; the car was "dirty"; had "polish marks" (eh?) and there were scratches in eleven locations. I cannot see a mark on the BOL at the location of the serious scratch and it did not mention the broken brake release handle. Neither of these things seem to bear any relevance to TFX. I am satisfied that the seller, who had provided me with photos of blemishes on the car, would have told me about the serious scratch on the bumper and would have said if the brake release handle had been broken during his care. He was not aware of either.

I wrote to TFX about these issues. TFX's responses have been disappointing, defensive, disparaging and dismissive. In essence, TFX claims the BOL indicates the serious scratch and is a legally binding document; that the brake release was already broken; and the scratch could have been caused by a shopping cart. TFX also claimed they had cleaned the car (perhaps this is why some of the scratches indicated on the BOL are no longer visible). I was promised a pdf of the BOL (I haven't received it) and, most importantly, photographs of the car taken by the TFX driver at pickup. I am now expected to believe the driver deleted the photos "since the vehicle had already been delivered he had deleted them to save precious memory space on his phone"! Seriously? !

If TFX had contacted the driver, why did the driver delete the photos? If TFX did not contact the driver, why not: TFX had a genuinely concerned customer to placate. I am reminded of the Price Pritchett's famous adage, "Everyone makes honest mistakes but there's no such thing as an honest cover up! " Thirty years ago, I would have taken aggressive action against TFX, to recover the costs of detailing and replacement. Today, I am advised to avoid this kind of stress.but I can still share my experience.

Whatever may be your reason for using TFX, my advice is to ensure you take your own detailed photos at the same time the pickup driver takes his.

Ergo, one star for this job.

This is the second time we have used TFX to transport our vehicles. The vehicles we needed to transport require special care and we will not trust anyone except TFX to transport them!
They are responsive, easy to deal with, and their drivers are absolutely amazing. A phone call the day before drop off, and another call just an hour before arriving.

I had the absolute pleasure of contracting TFX to transport my newly acquired ‘68 Pontiac Firebird 400 from Calgary to London. I happened across them at the Toronto International Motorcycle Show of all places. Brandi always answered my questions in a timely fashion and although I didn’t meet with the pick up driver, Mike, I did speak with him. Very personable and I thought for a while like he was the new owner of the car. He was that enthusiastic. I knew he would look after it. I did meet Andy, the delivery driver. He was equally as pleasant even though he was on his way to Reno after delivering my car. I can’t say enough good things about TFX considering I didn’t know about them until the chance discovery in Toronto. I’d certainly recommend their service and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for my motorcycle or my car.

Beware SNOWBIRDS this is the 'WORST' experience I have ever had in shipping vehicles from Canada to Florida.

They claim they are the best industry which, is simply NOT true.

TFX International will not accept any responsibility when they damage your vehicle. We all understand that mistakes can happen from time to time, and when a vendor damages your property they 'normally' take responsibility and find a suitable solution to resolve the issue.

If you feel it is important to work with a company that will accept responsibility and look after you when they mess up, then TFX International is 'NOT' for you. If you want to avoid a big headache then find a different company to use.

I would 'NOT' recommend TFX International to anyone.

TFX delivered my M4 from Vancouver to Toronto amd it was a great experience. Communication was great and my car was perfect!

The FTX team that handled the transport of my recently purchased classic car from Toronto to Florida did an exceptional job from the original proposal to the delivery. They were very helpful and timely in addressing my questions and concerns. They processed all of the documents needed for Customs for me resulting in no Customs issues. Also, they were able to temporarily store my vehicle at their secure facility until it was time for the scheduled transport. They made it a very positive experience for me. I found your staff drags conversations out, and gives you options of different pricing, then says you dont even offer the different pricing and only 1 pricing is available. Well why the heck would you give different pricing the first time, if there was only one pricing available? ! What a waste of a conversation and time, seems disorganized.

Had a rare motorcycle shipped with TFX after a ride across route 66. From the start everyone was responsive. The booking team was great. Answered my questions and even met with me to make sure my paperwork was good. I finished route 66 (was a great time) dropped my bike and it was picked up in a timely matter without incident after I had left California. Things happen occasionally, and there was some moderate damage in shipping. I was called immediately by their vice president and was told he would take care of it. I asked if it would be ready for a trip to port dover (about a week away at that time) and was told they would do there best. Then they took care of it. When I say they took care of it I mean they repaired everything (no easy feat considering the rarity of the parts involved) kept me updated and are still working toward my ongoing satisfaction. I am currently sitting on that motorcycle at Friday the 13th. The company stands by what they do. They have honest and trustworthy staff and they really worked hard and came thru, a rare commodity in this world. It's not the things that happen but how they are handled. If your reading this, TFX and people that work there are the ones to handle your vehical. Hands down.

I was none to pleased yesterday with TFX. HOWEVER. I was met by the owner (Adam) this morning as soon as I arrived at their facility.
He sought me out and wanted to know the full details.
We had a frank discussion about my situation and annoyances. He had very reasonable reasons for why things went the way that they did.
He was understanding and apologetic for the direction things went the other day.

I firmly believe in trying to put on the other guys shoes and look at things from their perspective.
In doing so I see how hard the business they are in can be logistically.

I like that this is a family run company as those are where I would MUCH rather spend my money.

The fact that ownership at TFX cared enough to make things right will make me a loyal customer and I will GLADLY recommend them to anyone in need of the services they offer.

The driver made the roads really dangerous. Heading north on the 416 towards Ottawa today when the driver started riding our bumper. We were going 110km/h when he attempted to pass, he proceeded to drive between the lanes and use his horn. He swerved back and forth numerous times. He then cut off the car in front of us. We witnessed this happen a few times to the people ahead of us. I would expect much more professional behaviour from transport drivers. This driver should not have a job as he is putting peoples lives at risk. Called the company and have not received an answer. I have the trailer plate and the plate from the cab recorded.

Glad they're not hauling my vehicles after I witnessed the driver cut across a few lanes and rough shoulder at 100k/hr so he didn't miss his exit to the 401. You know you can turn around at the next exit and not put drivers around you at risk, right? Pretty erratic driving for a high end vehicle transfer company.

Christine, I didn't get the unit number, however, it was a 1or 3/4 ton dodge ram northbound on the 427 and radically exited to the east bound 401 ramp at approximately 12 noon Dec. 17

This company is a throwback to when folks enjoyed their work and reflected it in exemplary customer service. From referees to quotation, thru paperwork and process on to door to door this was a pleasurable experience which I'd repeat in a heartbeat.

TFX moved my Audi SQ5 from Vancouver to Montreal. Straight forward 5 star service, the drivers are great and are backed up with an efficient support team. The car arrived in perfect condition.
