Thackeray Park

Lots of green space for pets and families to go for a stroll. And plenty of practise space for cricket enthusiasts, high netting and chain fence. Official games and events played here from time to time are all booked through 311 city service. There is benches where families and friends can watch when games are on. Lots of green space to walk and run when not in official use.

The adjoining park is a mostly open field with areas of tall grass and some trees. The gravel roadways lead to facilities for radio-controlled model aircraft hobbyists. Much of the path is closed when facilities are in use

A beautiful area for a walk. Some sections of the trail are a little rougher but nothing that requires special gear beyond comfortable shoes.

Such a small outfield and we ended loosing so many balls
