Thai Express

I ordered Pad See Ew and have ordered many times before but the food served here was very salty. I am not sure if a lot of sauce was added while preparing it but it tasted awful, would not visit this place again

I had dinner there once and the experience was that bad that i still feel disgusted by the food that is served there. I still feel so disgusted that just passing by there or seeing the advertising on this place makes me gag. AVOID AT ALL COST.

I ordered the Beef Tom Yum Soup and paid extra for extra veggie hoping for more tomatoes, cilantro, carrots, and spring onion. Comically, you guys added corn, broccoli, peppers.plus the broth is on the clear side too. Transaction was made on May 6 around 4: 50 PM. So disappointed.

Staff is so unprofessional and rude and unethical and cheap.
We were 4 and ordered food of about 70 bucks.

When our food was ready, while picking it
we asked for cutlery.
That guy gave only plastic forks counting us.
I asked for plastic knife to eat chicken, staff clearly said “we just have forks we dont have knifes”.

We went to our table with food and i was about to eat it with fork and saw a small hair on it. I couldn’t eat so i search for another one at the side table in the dining area.
Guess what I found. Forks, spoons and knifes all plastic ones. I took one and started eating food.
The guy who lied gave a weird look it ruin my Brunch.

Why should you lie about the small stuff. And ruin the dining experience. How are we suppose to break chicken with plastic forks.

Also if you say its not for customers then who is it for? Also why even keep it there? Hide it in your back place. Sooooo cheap guy

The staff of the restaurant is highly insensitive and rude. I went there because i am a hypertension patient and wanted to use washroom for a minute. But they stopped me and asked me to vacate the premises by saying the restroom is only for the customer. If you buy something then only i may let you in for the washroom.

This is highly insensitive and disrespectful for me. The lady specifically working there has no manners.

Shubh is one of the best chefs at this location. Good portions and fresh made. Strongly recommended

It was absolutely disgusting! I have been ordering the same dish for many years from different locations pad sew, and this was not it at all! I ordered very spicy, with extra basil. It came over saulted, not spicy at all, undercooked noodles, dry old veggie and dry basil. What a waste of money, it's in the trash!

I've never been to a more horrible Thai express in my entire life. I would not recommend anyone to come here. These are the laziest people I have ever met. They sit and watch TV in the back and when you come in they are in such a rush to make your food so they can continue to watch TV again. No tissues or utensils can be found anywhere in there. Please spend your hard earned money somewhere where people atleast make an effort

Ordered take-out and the rice was undercooked.literally hard. They added almost no curry to the rice, it felt like we were eating wet vegetables with undercooked rice. Cant forget to mention the stand of beard hair we found on the lid of extra rice we ordered. Definitely not coming back to this location again.

This place is sooo dirty. The food was discusting. Beef tasted bad, returned it they made chicken it tasted freezer burned.

This chain will literally do nothing to help you. They took $14 from me and will not do anything to help. Ridiculous. I used to be a weekly customer but will never visit again.

I purposefully waited in my car for 20 mins so they could take the time to prepare my food properly. I came home and found out that they missed packing the spring roll, and the pad Thai had some sweet sauce in it. My goodness, I feel like I wasted $28… I don’t recommend this location and I won’t be visiting again. I called the store a few times and no one picked up. Does it get any worse than this?

If i could give negative stars i would. I bought the thai chicken soup with extra veggies. There was hardly any beggies and they did not taste frssh at all.and to top it off.i found an EARWIG in the soup! Will not be going to this location ever again or to thai express for a long time

The worst food I have had. The chicken was not fresh. There was no taste. I ordered basil fried rice and it was terrible

Shrimp and basil fried rice was good. We felt cheated with cheesecake just too dramatic packaging and nothing substantial inside. Even cheesecake was not tasty

Terrible. The pad thai I got tasted nothing like Thai pad thai. Overly sweet and all mushy. I do not recommend this at all.

Orders tom yum soup for the second time. First time was awful but I thought I’d give them a second chance. The second time having Tom yum soup and it was awful once again. Second time in a row they didn’t have coconut milk for the soup… A very poor experience for the second time. This location is not upholding the franchise standards. Do Not Eat Here!

Good restaurant and fast delivery. But, this branch usually put less amount of chicken in noodles compared to Dundas-Dixie branch.

Might be the best Thai express in the area for pad Thai, but only one of the employees consistently wears a hair net while cooking over the wok. Also there's a strange sewage smell and the stainless cage around the cooking area is honestly filthy.

They gave me this smaller Costco box for my order thinking I wouldn’t notice. I ordered a shrimp stir fry which had almost no sauce and only two shrimps. I mean, the box they put it in can’t fit much anyways. The food was a disaster. The 2 shrimps I got tasted and smelled rotten. Honestly the whole thing smelled rotten. The carrots were black and stuck to each other like glue. I wanted to go back to get a refund but honestly I don’t even wanna step in that place again and I won’t. By the way obviously no cutlery or napkins given either. When I asked for a fork he gave it to me with his bare hand from the mouth of it. This isn’t a Thai express honestly it’s not even food

Ordered 2 Tom yum soups. Had to to be the worst flavourless soup I've ever had. Both myself and my daughter had to throw it out. Unfortunately she's unwilling to even try Tom yum from another establishment after this experience.

Bad Customer Service. Bad Food.

Food taste and quality is very low and inconsistent. Sometimes very salty, sometime does not taste anything at all.

Go to other locations instead.

Ordered a tofu Basil fried rice with no egg, told them it was to be vegan.
Once eating it, I realized there was egg in it. I tried to call them but their number doesn’t work. That’s terrible, you have to be more careful when it comes to food restrictions.

Very rude owner, she has no clue about customer servive, i ask her for extra paper plate and she started arguing that its 50c, we don't give etc etc, a person is spending 50 dollars in your store and you are acting cheap for 1-2cent paper plate. You already lost me as your customer

This was absolutely the most horrific experience I have ever had at a Thai express. (First time at this location) I called and called they never answer. I got spicy cocktail pad Thai. (shrimp and chicken) as soon as I opened my container the foul smell that came from the container was gross.however I said don't be bias (I was feeling off when I noticed it wasn't the ethnicity of thailandese not owning it) its a franchise order your meal! I didn't say anything to my co worker, she had a few bites and she's automatically said" eww what's that smell? " the chicken was horrible. I did go back to the store and got a refund I was so upset simply for not even answering my call, and to make matters worst they didn't even own up to their rotten meat. If I could give them a 0 star I would! I run a business myself this isn't how you do it. 100% REPORTING to public health after reading all these other reviews some even have gotten sick.

This place was good but over the last few years has gone downhill. Every time I order a chicken tom yum soup they serve me boiled water with chicken and veggies. At best they make a mediocre Thai fried rice. I'm not one for poor reviews but this place constantly disappoints and its on my dime.

Bought Red Thai curry chicken last night and as I was digging into my first bite it had a stale coconut milk smell that overpowered the whole curry, I then proceded to eat it and it tasted terrible like old expired milk and the rice was raw. I threw the whole thing after two bites. Wouldn't recommend at all.

I visited this location in the lunch time. It was busy but the staff was good in managing the things. I order basil stir fry with shrimp. It was really excellent. I personally recommend must visit this location.

Have tried multiple times to order from this location for pick up, as it is the closest to my workplace, and they NEVER pick up the phone.

Unfortunately, you can’t even order for pick-up at this location on SkiptheDishes. Guess I’ll try to order elsewhere from now on.

Food is tasty and freshly cooked. The staff has always been friendly and I have been going to this location for two years and always come back with a smile on my face. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I was ripped off. Part of my order was not in the bag. They are refusing to answer the phone now as well. Terrible experience! Do not trust this location - inspect your order carefully even if they tie the bag in knots.

Honestly stay clear of Thai express go support your local independent Thai restraunt these guys charge way too much for too little.

Woke up today and my stomach was killing me in a way I never felt before I went to hospital they said food poisoning all I ate yesterday was here be careful be very careful better yet go to the one in the one in the mall save your time and stomach

Bought Stir fry noodles which I was not able to eat. Asked for medium spicy but food was full of chilies and noodles. Very very less Vegis and chicken.
Had to throw entire food as too much chilies. Very very poor cooking. Very bad experience.

I ordered delivery from them recently and they gave an amazing portion plus a complimentary spring roll which made my day!

The worst experience from here. I bought my usual Spicy Chicken Pad Thai from here and it was practically just bean sprouts. And water down sauce on the wok. Over here it seems like they're aiming for quantity and NOT quality. My stomach is in pain from eating there yesterday. Never coming here again. Worst location in Mississauga by far.

I was excited for my green curry-that I have known and loved from Thai Express over the years (first time at this location), they did not include the eggplant, my favourite part of the curry mix. The diet pop was way off and the syrup obviously needed to be changed. The spring roll filling tasted weird too. A huge waste of $15-called them 3 times to let them know with no answer. Very disappointed!

I love Thai Express. Pad Set Yew with beef in particular. This was not a good batch. It tasted like sweet BBQ sauce.too bad. Hope that was a one-off.

Ordered 3 different dishes and not a single order was correct. Food tasted bland and order notes were completely ignored.

Ordered a chicken and beef pad thai. It tasted bad compared to other locations. There were also some extra ingredients in my order. Seems like either they didn't clean the pan properly or they also threw in leftovers. Also the rice noodles seem like it wasn't cooked properly because some of it tasted weird. I ended up throwing it out.

The food is 'good' however the lady there never wears a mask. That's it, just disappointing there is a sign on the door and explicitly says you must wear one and it is a current bylaw, more importantly it's just common sense and respect, especially for those that are or living with someone that is immune compromised.

*UPDATE It appears that the initial response the restaurant posted said the woman has asthma but it has since been changed to a generic 'we care' response.

In response to the asthma piece, are the employees also asthmatic? No one ever has a mask on in there with the exception of the odd time one of the workers put on a face shield which doesn't offer adequate protection for the employee or guests. In addition if you think that shield does anything at all why wouldn't someone with asthma be wearing that.

I've ordered twice from this location within the last month. Not a good experience. Ordered a shrimp mini soup, the guy was trying to tell me I couldn't add spice and the women gave me only 2 shrimps. Went back and ordered the chicken mini soup, got a tiny piece of chicken. Both times the broth lacked taste despite the added spice and I had to add salt.
There will not be a third time. I will drive a little further and go to a better Thai Express in Mississauga.

I used to love coming in here to eat but the place is getting pretty disgusting. It doesn't help that all the surfaces are white either.

Just smears of sauces everywhere. Limes and lemons are as dry as croutons and the hot sauce has been sour for months.

A great place to have lunch near my company. The store owner is very good at customer service. Always feel welcomed while walk-in. Store location is convenient. Food is tasty. A good choice to dine-in for a quick lunch.

I must say this location is Excellent. I am a regular visitor and went today as well. When I see the other remarks, I think why dont these customers atleast once speak to the staff. They are always so friendly. Anytime you tell them, they have replaced the meal right away. I find them very courteous and coming out to clean. I would always recommend this location as me and my family feel welcomed. I have always found meals better than any other locations.

I visited this restaurant on last Tuesday and i ordered vege padthai and it was sooooo good then after i also ordered tom yum soup which was sooooo delicious.really love this restaurant.

I had Chicken Path Thai just about 10 minutes back and was very delicious and cooked well. I live close to this location and go atleast once a month. I have been to other locations, but would prefer eating at this location. Very warm & friendly staff. Anytime recommend here

I am a pure vegetarian and the cook made sure the bowls and the woks were properly cleaned and cooked. He was all smiling and was a great food. It was a satisfaction that I am eating a veggie meal. Thank you to the cook. It was vegetarian Pad Thai and cooked perfectly and delicious.

Worst location ever I went here coz it's closer to my house I would rather drive the extra 10min to the dundas location at creekside where i usually go. Chicken is old I choked on it coz of how hard and dry it was I requested it in a plastic bowl dont mind paying the extra 25 cents I recieved a small size compared to the other locations I've been too and because of how much sauce they poured in the container there is no rice it's just a soup of thairacha with veggies and a bit of rice mixed in. Absolutely disgusting for, $15 place was completely empty compared to the dundas now i know why people try it once and never come back

I waited almost 5 minutes until the cashier acknowledge me and take my order. The most ridiculous thing is the following: I ordered two spicy beef pad thai's to-go. When I opened the boxes, the portions were about half of the portion compare to the Square One location. There were almost no meat in the pad thai's. Only bits and pieces. I did not say I want Tofu to be added and There's a bunch of them. The taste was totally off from what I used to have. One was too sweet and the other was too spicy. Honestly, this store has to be closed down. I would NOT visit there ever again. Worst place.

I visited this restaurant on last monday. I ordered vege fried rice and the taste was sooooooo awesome and the restaurant manager and staff was so friendly.

The general thai chicken is processed beef that has been deep fried.like a beef mcnugget. Then they throw some teriyaki sauce on it and you've got yourself a plate of mediocrity. Its edible, but there's better things out there.

On last Wednesday i visited this thai Express and believe me no one can beat this restaurant in quality and the quantity of food.will back again soon.

I went this location last Thursday, I ordered fried rice it was extremely delicious and excellent customer service and this is the cleanest Thai express i have ever seen. Any restaurant can’t beat this Thai for quality and quantity. Excellent food and service

They don’t know how prepare the most simple and easiest dish which is Pad thai noodles with shrimp and chicken.never go there!

Ordered food through Uber Eats. Pad Thai with shrimp and Pad Thai chicken and shrimp. I like ordering from Thai express as they are fast and flavourful. Today Food from this location was not tasty and they put too much spicy sauce, that it was unbearable to eat. Both pad Thais wee dry, and there was no flavour to the meal overall. The owner of this place should order the food through Uber Eats without notifying the employees so he or she can “enjoy” what I’m “enjoying” right now. I will never return to this location.

I had asked for no bean sprouts in my order, but when I opened it up, most of it was bean sprouts. Plus, it was only 3/4 filled in the take out box. Terrible.

Food here is typically fine. Your portions depending on what you order and who is cooking can vary in size/quantity of meat. Never any real issues or complaints in all of the times i have been here.

Unfortunately for my latest visit, I ordered General Thai Chicken on rice and I had one large piece of breaded chicken that was not cooked. Co-worker I was with also had uncooked chicken pieces. Just something the be cautious about for larger chunks of meat. I let the staff know and they were apologetic and offered to cook us more chicken.

Usually buy two of my favorites plates at any Thai express but stopped by this place ordering the same and what a surprise in the low quality of the food, needeless to say of the taste, this place is Breaking Thai Express reputation
