Thai Express

I’ve tried their Tom Yum Soup (Shrimp) twice so far, and this is the best Thai Express I’ve ever experienced. Their ingredients are fresh, and the soup is not salty or blend. I haven’t tried their other menus, but their service is exceptional and would come back for sure!

Beef pad thai is flavorless and mediocre at best. Need to learn from othe pad thai facilities

Worst Thai express experience ever. Not only the food but customer service is horrible. In Country like canada, they should atleast hire one person who can understand english and communicate. Cook KIM tried to put more sauce in meal when i was telling its saucy and started arguing with me. Bought curry which was horrible, but based on previous experiences with different locations I went there again and got pad thai. Pad thai was really horrible and not edible was looking poor too. I simply went and told KIM to replace but he started arguing in rude tone that he is there for ten years and did not accept it. Never going to any location due to KIM’s service, head office need to visit this location. Out of many place if people are choosing you, atleast accept the feedback instead of yelling and arguing on someone who got two meals from and had to throw it. Based on all other reviews, head office should take action on this cook behaviour and their service.

This is one of the worst places you can eat at in the entire food court. I ordered the chicken shak bowl in soy garlic and my sister ordered a soup and believe me it was the biggest nightmare with the first bite. The chicken was raw and had a stench of being a couple of days old, there was no flavour of soy or garlic. When I returned to the counter, the lady was super rude and said I was the only one having problems with the chicken and that no one had complained all day. The cook then quickly offered to give me rice and veggies without the chicken and a Tom yum soup to my sister and I do appreciate the intent of the solution however, the food again did not have any flavour whatsoever. The sauces were all sweet and no other flavour. I understand how we can’t expect good thai food from a mall food court but a basic flavour should At least be offered for the $$ you pay. I will never go back here to waste my money but the staff could be trained and food needs to be fresh, you cannot play with someone’s gut like this. Going through the comments below I see the chicken being a constant problem with your customers, do a revamp and stop selling old food for a premium.

Asusual, yummy Thai Green Curry with rice. So delicious and mouthwatering with coconut gravy. Superb tasty veggies.

By far the worst Thai express chain location I have ever been to, I paid an extra 5 bucks for beef and they just never bothered to add any to my fried rice. Horrible food. Would never recommend and I will be collecting my refund from Uber eats

Horrible food. Tasteless and bland. Tofu looks disgusting. No chicken and it was given in this cheap white styrofoam container that leaks everywhere. I have bought many times over the years and this is the absolute worst. I complained to them and all they had to say is that they are sorry. I won’t come back.

First time taste good, why the second time taste like candle? Please improve cooks’ patience, don’t add too much wok hay. The good thing is service was pretty good.

Got food poisoning from this place. Spent next 2 days in the washroom! Never recommend this place. Usually I check out rating for food restaurant but this time I didn't and I paid the price! White Styrofoam almost spilled my food as it was burning with my hot food.

We ordered shrimp pad Thai (spicy)
It was mostly noodles, It didn't have the normal amount of extras. Not enough bean sprouts, not enough tofu, not enough egg, it was plain noodles with 5 shrimps. It wasn't even spicy.

They also didn't use the thaiexpress containers although there were plenty of those behind them. They used white containers.

Also why is there a piece of chicken in it? For someone who only eats halal, they can't eat it anymore.

The attitude, the customer service, the food itself, all poor. They seemed like they didn't even want to make it.

Got spicey shrimp fried rice.very tasty little pricy at $15 but it's filling so it's worth it. Also got like 10 shrimps in this.more than most places!

Pretty large portion of pad Thai but not spicy enough (I ordered it as spicy), too oily, and not enough meat. I ordered a chicken pad Thai but there were only a couple small pieces, not worth $13.

Worst experience ever. Ordered General thai beaf and got a burned general thai beaf.didn’t have enough sauces, no mango also only few veggies and everything. Even got a piece of metal from this general thai. Never going to eat from this location

Absolutely HORRIBLE place. There was literal GLASS in the dish! My mom was eating the food and all of a sudden something poked her. When we went to look, it was a HUGE piece of glass! Besides the long wait, below average food and the fact that they’re trying to kill you, it’s not worth your money.

This Thai Express is the worst one I've ever had the unfortunate experience of trying. Burnt basil fried rice and gloopy chicken curry which tasted awful. It was literally like yellow water cooked so much but then there were chunks of raw hard potato cubes in it. I don't even understand how that happens? My friend ordered 2 pad sewsw and apparently they were both really good? I'm super confused about this place but I won't try it again

If you are vegetarian then pls don’t visit this place. I ordered vegan fried rice and the chef cooked it in the same vessel in which he was making non veg food too. I just had to throw the rice. Felt so bad for wasting money. No ethics followed here

Have been to various Thai Express restaurants and have always been met with great service, this was no different. The food was fresh, staff were lovely and I really enjoyed it.
The location is quite big as well so there really wasn’t a line while I was there.

Horrible food. Bad customer service. Never honours customers choice. Even when they make the food wrong and I found hair in it

Good quantity. Clarity while speaking to customers isnt that good however. Overall good service.

-Fried rice was made with staying long time, yellow colour rice, if you order in the morning, it must be yesterday left over steamed rice.
-Pad thai noodles are made one week before they use it, or if you order in the dinner time, it could be from one long standing day, if they are not busy, the rice may got moundly, or smelling, and they through out moundly noodles and wash the smelling noodles, and cover it with spicy and sauce.
-they cook many times smelling, poisoning, bad meats by deep them in the hot water before cook it, and again cover with sauce.
-Thai soup, made with unwashed green onion roots and a huge bowl of left over vegetables to make some flavour, if you drink with attention, there always soil in the bottom of the bowl because of unwashed green onions and tastes strong artificial chicken flavor.

The staff was not able to understand English very well that led to miscommunication. I was just asking how to pronounce the word Panaeng. He couldn’t answer me and trying to say that “do you want it or not? ” in a rude way. So I was calm and trying to clarify myself that I was just curious about it. I asked again, “How do you say this word? ” I was pointing at the word. And the old guy kept on saying again in a rude and arrogant manner, “I don’t know what you’re talking about” -“do you want it or not? ” “What do you want? You want to cancel the order? ” I lost my appetite and just let him cancel the order. It seems that guy feel that it’s not his lost not to sell their food. Please hire people who are not rude to costumers and can communicate well.

It says Thai express, but it’s not Thai express food. The food isn’t awful, but it’s not great. The worst Thai Express I’ve ever been to. The chicken isn’t made the same and the sauce is totally different. The rice had the rubber taste. When I go back to square one, I definitely won’t be eating from here again.

Nous y avons soupé le 20 février 2015. C'est à une courte distance à pied de l'hôtel Novotel où nous logions. Nous avions l'embarras du choix entre plusieurs restaurants tous rassemblés dans un même endroit dans un centre commercial comme on voit souvent dans tous les centres commerciaux ou presque.
Nous croyons avoir fait un bon choix. J'ai pris l'assiette d’aubergines et tofu à $7.98 et mon épouse le General Thaï à $8.58 pour un total de $18.71 avec les taxes de 13% du montant de $16.56 soit $2.15.
Voyez en photos nos deux plats ainsi que la facture si cela vous intéresse.

Food was alright (fried rice ain't hard to mess up), a bit greasy but portion size vs price paid was crazy.

Had the Basil Beef fried rice and it was phenomenal! For fast-food establishment in a mall food court it might've been the best fast food I have ever had! That cook was amazing. Will definitely return!

I strongly recommend Thai fried rice with shrimp. Minus 1 for the price. Otherwise, I strongly recommend.

Who puts starchy soup thickner in green curry? The result was a slimy, bland mess. That’s not Thai at all.

As a vegetarian, its decently hard to find good Chinese. This is convient, and it taste really good! The service is okay, but could be better. Price is good for what you get!

Asked for my General thai Chicken well done so it could at least be a little crunchy. What they served me was the soggiest general tao I've ever had. Tasted like a microwaved dish and I clearly saw the guy cook it infront of me. Waste of 14$

We have been to many Thai Express and have always had a great experience. This one was no different.
We went for the vegan Pad Thai with Tofu and it was great. Always bloody hot, straight out of the wok. The staff was good. Not very friendly but still fine. This place is in the food court which is often crowded but you can still manage to find a place.
Definitely recommended.

Ordered a Yellow chicken curry and it tasted awful. The potatoes tasty like they were reused and gone bad. They used tomatoes and the sauce was smelling sour. The customer service is bad at the counter. Never again.

I ordered a Pad See Ew. It was the one with thick rice noodles. I don't usually write reviews, but I have to say that I was baffled by how unpleasant the taste was. I literally had to force myself to finish it because Im not a fan of wasting food. As soon as I tasted my first bite, I thought "Oh no, what did I just buy? "

Food is sitting and not cooked fresh at square one. I go to other Thai Express locations in GTA to get my food.

Always my favorite place to eat.if you ever go ask for spicy pad Thai but with pad sew noodles (the pad sew noodles soak up the sauce a lot better)

Terrible service, people here does not do a good job. Food looks bad and it is not tasty. I don’t recommend it.

Horrible experience!
I am used to order Thai Express from Sheridan College at OAKVILLE but they closed that campus one for the summer.
Today I went shopping with my friend at Square one and I saw it again I was really excited so ordered a take out to bring back to oakville to eat. The cashier was also rude when I asked her if they have anything special and she is answering me in a sarcastic tone, I got what i usually get anyway, Tom yum soup. And on school shuttle bus I saw my bag is getting lots soup leaking out I was thinking because I walked so it spilled. NOT the case! When I finally arrived after the bus ride, I realize they actually gave me a BROKEN container. In that case not only no soup left (cant even reuse the soup because a cardboard they put in the bag) but also it leaked everywhere on my clothes and also on the table i was sitting. I was really angry and did not get to enjoy my food at all! I am really disappointed. Never go again! See my pictures! (The mess, the rip, the confusion of soup leaking, bag was fine, so means it was broken already when packed)

Do not eat the pad see ew at Thai express in general! They have a sauce that is apparently controlled in salt content that they use in all their locations and honestly just tasting it gave me hypertension. I do not like salt but I had my family taste it and they like salt and found it also to be extremely salty. Uneatable and when I complained I am told that because I did not advise the employees at the moment there is nothing that can be done. Ever heard of TAKE OUT! In what restaurant am I supposed to taste my take out in store just to make sure the salt content isn’t insane?
