Thai Express

Very bland. No spice, hardly any flavour. Only cooked it for under 1 minute while I paid debit then it was “done”. Left the dish soupy, not giving a chance for the noodles to soak up flavour or the sauce to thicken.

Great Thai place in the mall. Definitely a better option than the Subway or that terrible donut place in the food court. I got Pad Thai and some amazing sesame chicken!

It was soggy, no taste and barely any protein. It takes like spaghetti and I would never recommend. Horrible quality.

By far the worst Thai express I’ve had. Noodles were over cooked and total mush, and everything just tasted off.

I’ve been eating in this restaurant since long time now I know their food taste usually I order the one in stc mall but after we moved to Innisfil last year I’ve ordered the same food One in Georgian mall but the food taste strange not the one I always eat their total taste and the method of making and the flavour everything is different this is what I always eat I don’t know the management change or what happens really disappointing

Prices have gone up along and now fountain drinks no longer offered so pay an extra dollar on top of that.

I place my order and then an oriental lady placed her order after me she received her order before me. When I went to ask why she got served first the only reply I got was sorry. This round eye won't be going back there ever again.

One star for friendly service. I was given the wrong order and returned it and they were swift and apologetic to replace it but I'm not impressed by the food ar all. Ordered the Pad Thai which has no veg as advertised and its swimming in too much sauce that is like eating a mouthful of sugar. I don't recommend.

Wish I took a picture, ordered green curry chicken with cauliflower rice. It was not edible, the dish was drowning in sauce, vegetables hard with 2 small pieces of brocoli and hardly any chicken. Used to order from there all the time, not anymore.

I ordered Fried rice with egg. But there is no egg at all. Even no any test seems like they put all the veggies and rice together from yesterday.

Tasty foods esp.the sweet n sour fish, maybe the only issue is the language barrier? Would've told us that we can substitute rice to noodles as an option

I ordered pad see ew and the description says Chinese broccoli. There was literally one piece of regular broccoli in the entire order.

Great service, friendly smiles.and good quality food in minutes made right in front of your eyes. You get it any way you want it. Mild, Spicy, sweet, tangy. They are happy to please and make you feel like your business is appreciated. Everything is nice. I highly recommended this place.

We had an excellent time in this place. We enjoyed the wonderful ambience and the food. The staff members are very friendly. I’m happy we finally managed to visit here.

Specifically asked for pineapple in chicken fried rice asked 2 times.and just got 3 pieces of chciken and only carrots.on other vegi.the quality of food is very bad as comapred to last years

Mess up my order 3/3 times. Whats the point of having a vegan pad thai if you always put egg in it? So disappointed. Always check before you leave and peoples with allergies go elsewhere three strikes you're dead to me

They forgot the basil.in the basil thai fried rice! The beef pad Thai was also made very poorly. Super dry, 2 tiny pieces of beef, and chewy noodles. I looove Thai Express, but at this one, the service & food were very poor quality. We were so disappointed.

The food and service were ahead of our expectations. We really enjoyed the environment of this restaurant. First-rate restaurant to take the family out for lunch.

Ordered Peanut Coconut bowl for pick up, ended up with a beef teriyaki. The order was correct on the cash register screen! So disappointed.

I have had the number one with chicken over the years and it was amazing. They used to cook it in a wok in front of you. It was hot, spicy and had a nice mix of vegetables, spice, chicken and bean sprouts. Today i made a special stop to get some soup and I could not eat it. Like someone said previously, it was watered down, the taste was lame.it was not cooked as we waited, it was pulled out of a pot and assembled. There was also a tub full of noodles that I dont usually eat. There is no way I will go back. 2 soups for just over $20.00, what a waste. As I live an hour away, it was a wasted trip to boot.

I ordered a vegetarian pad thai to go as my lunch meal. When I got back to my office shortly after, it was evident the store gave me a CHICKEN pad thai! As a vegetarian, I am now without a meal and hungry. I called the store, and the guy that answered the phone was beyond rude, asking "what do you want me to do? " I asked him for owner/manager's contact info, and he said "he's not here, I don't have it". This is beyond disappointing, and I am now very hangry.

Served within a minute of ordering, served at room temperature, not warm. Ordered medium spice, the sauce appears to be some sort of sweet and sour sauce? No spice whatsoever. Disappointing after what I normally receive at other Thai Express locations.

Great customer service and delicious food. I go to Thai express once in a week with my wife. We both love fried rice. This place serve food very fast plus the Food is affordable as well.

Most of the time we love Thai Express but for whatever reason the Georgian Mall, Barrie location is awful. The ingredients for the green curry thai are never correct. There is no eggplant. Also the pad thai is never served with tofu, green onion or the radish that is supposed to come in it. It appears as though this location is the only one that deviates from the standard.just very disappointing - and this has been the case for at least the 5 years we have gone to this location.

Awful customer service. The food is delicious but the employees are miserable. I ordered pad Thai, and asked what the sauces were, as they were not labeled. I misheard and said pardon to the employee. He then turned around, and said under his breath that I don't speak English very well. Even though he is mumbling and had a heavt accent.

Went to the mall with my boyfriend yesterday and was eating at a table close to this restaurant and out of no where the worker starts picking his nose while staring at me. DISGUSTING IS ALL I CAN SAY. DONT GO HERE. I have always wondered about trying this place and safe to say it is now a solid NOPE!

0 for Two! What we ended up with was not what was ordered or expected. My wife ordered the Cashew Stir-fry with Chicken and I wanted the Pad See-Ew with beef. What we ended up with was a Cashew Stir-fry with NO cashews and a noodle dish they tried to pass off as Pad See-Ew made with soggy Napa cabbage and not the expected Chinese broccoli. When confronting the Manager/Franchisee it was evident they were aware they did not have the ingredients in the kitchen. They made no effort to notify us of the substitutions or omissions. One may be led to think they were trying to cut corners to save money and pad their profit margins in their choice of ingredients, or rather lack thereof. Ingredients like cashews can be expensive and Napa cabbage is less costly than Chinese broccoli. Having grown up in the restaurant business I don’t understand how they can conduct their business in such a way to not deliver on their food promise - especially as a franchise! Looking at recent reviews submitted it is apparent there is a problem with this location. I am sorry to say, this Thai Express is NOT worth considering unless you want to be disappointed. Service was severely lacking and the food was unsatisfactory. FYI: Complaint was formally submitted prior to writing the review and the follow-up received was very generic in nature. No resolution offered or gesture even made. I’m not sure if the feedback will even be regarded. I will leave it with you to decide where you want to spend your well-earned dollars. Fortunately there are a number of different, perhaps better, options - even for a food court.

Delicious Pad Thai but. I didn't know tofu comes with no vegetables. They made me a new order with a LOT of vegetables! Thank you!

Would give a lower rating if I could. Food is super watered down, shrimp was under cooked/cold and every employee that works there is miserable. Definitely don't recommend them

I wish I could have the option of 0 stars. On tuesday me and my friends went to the mall, one of them got a soup from Thai express and 3 of us ate her leftovers. Next day, the one who bought the soup and the 3 of us who ate the left overs got FOOD POISONING. The one who didn’t have any was perfectly fine. I can’t believe we spent money on something that kept me up all night throwing up and crying of pain.
I don’t know how the soup was made but it got me terrible FOOD POISONING.
To let you guys know how bad it was I lost 7 POUNDS IN 2 DAYS!

One star only because I can’t give 0 stars. Owner dropped tofu on the floor whilst preparing my pad Thai and then proceeds to pick it up and throw it into my food being made. Upon calling him out on it he stormed out the back and got another member of staff to make the food. People around me couldn’t believe what they saw. No apology or acknowledgement of the situation. Clearly this is normal. What a jerk.
