Thai Express

Unprofessional and very rude lady staff at the counter. Due to her ego She cancelled the order after 20 minutes of waiting. She is not at all good in customer service.

Note: I contacted the below mentioned link and there is no response from your side. I think management not taking any reviews seriously.

Went there for takeout today. Ordered 2 dishes. One came in the cardboard box while the other in the plastic dish. The plastic dish was previously used and washed. It tasted and smelled so badly of soap we couldn’t eat it.
Absolutely gross that they reuse their takeout containers.
Waste of $30. That was unfortunately our last time eating at any location. Can’t be trusted

Low quality.
Very cheap with ingredients. No flavor.
Use to be good but my last two experiences have been disappointing and dissatisfied.
Must be new management.
The cook is new for sure,
Use to be two guys. Now it’s a lady that who never smile and have poor customer service.
Thai with no flavor! Tasteless and over cooked

There was a beef recall and I guess they didn't bother doing anything about it. Later that evening I got food poisoning was throwing up non stop & had to close at my work early. I've lost faith in Thai Express unfortunately.

I was at the Clyde Avenue location yesterday and ordered lunch for myself and a friend. I ordered General Tsao chicken with medium spice. I saw the staff take a takeout carton from a bag awaiting pickup and put it in our bag. My chicken dish was very spicy and appeared to me to have Sriracha sauce and seemed to me to be Thai Racha. I could barely eat it and was not able to finish it because of the spice level. My friends was made fresh and was fine.
Not sure I will go back any time soon.

I have ordered from here 3x and have yet to be disappointed. So much better than the 3 east end locations that are closer to me to the extent that its almost a different restaurant.

Horrible experience! They definitely do NOT follow safe food handling. My mom and I ordered food and we stood in line watching the lady put the amount of ingredients into the bowls to be cooked. My mom notices that the lady had only 1 glove on while she was using both hands to pull the meats and noodles apart. She had a bandaid on the hand with no glove while handling the food and it made her and I feel uneasy. I really don’t know if I want to eat the food, she should’ve just garnished our food with her bandaid. Unbelievable.

I just went in and got an order of pad Thai and an order of pad see ew with tofu. The pad see ew came with meat, and the person eating it is a vegetarian, only noticed after already eating some.

Completely wrong, unexceptable.

Tried them again after an year hoping they might have messed up the first time but I guess its just how they roll.

I love Thai, IS FAST, the issuue they increase the price and small box, but the taste is good. I hope they spoil more the costumer with more food and not cutting the portion.

Don't see why people give bad reviews. It's a fast food place and for fast food it's pretty good. It's cheap and you get fresh ingredients that taste pretty good for this price point.

We used to order the same food every Saturday at this location.it was great before today. I don't know if you have changed staff, but Steet Fry was so fry and oily.it is impossible to eat. Rise noodle in the soup is very very soft, no good at all.so a bit disappointed.

So disappointed. I’ve ordered the pad sew through ubereats with this location 12 times in the past 6 months (16 if you count other locations). I order a bunch of extras and due to this I usually receive my food in a bowl as the contents won’t all fit in a take out container.

Today, I made my usual order and received the normal takeout container. I was confused but figured hey maybe they just packed it well. Nope. What I received was 1/2 of a standard order.

I’m really disappointed. As a frequent customer at Thai express all over the city, I’ve never received such a small portion before- especially considering the list of extras I add in. Unless some effort is made to correct this, I will never purchase from this location again.

I ordered a general tao chicken and a small Thai soup,
For the general the chicken is not chicken is just flour with flavour I was trying to find the chicken but nothing you can call chicken inside of all the flour.
And the soup I order a beef soup and I just received 2 very skinny slice of beef. How they can serve this when they promise beef and chicken, I can’t complain about flavour is good but I deserve what I order. I will not recommend this place.

I've been to every Thai express in the province I'm sure, and this location is by far the worst.got a pad sew, the box was 3/4 full at best, barely any beef, and under cooked. This is my 3rd time there, and same experience each time. They are so cheap, I asked for a napkin and was given one - not by chance, the person grabbed 2, put one back, and gave me one. Seriously.now sure how they are even open.

This Thai Express is part of the chain of fast Thai food outlets. It has: large helpings, clean premises and friendly staff. We had the Pad Thai with tofu and the Thai fried rice with veggies and both were totally acceptable. Cooking takes place behind the counter and you can see everything. Thai Express is a good place for vegan options.

It's ok. Nothing noticeablely bad nor impressive. Owners can't speak English well but very welcoming

I couldn’t agree with more with the lady taking order being rude. I used to frequent here few times a month, and the last time I was there, she yelled at my face as i was responding her questions. “ SIR YOU NEED TO PICK MEAT! SIR YOU NEED TO TELL ME HOW SPICY YOU WANT”. I just left. Maybe she was having bad day. But taking that out on customer is not right.

Twice I got Gerenal Thai Chicken here and both times it was not good but tonight was the worst. The chicken was cooked so much that there was no chicken inside the breading. So overcooked and burnt.

Everytime I watch a TV show and someone is eating asian takeout I have to come to Thai Express for some Basil Shrimp Fried Rice or some Chicken Pad Thai

Went there on a Tuesday night just after 8 pm (on Jan. 22) to find that it was all locked up. The employee that was suppose to be working was in a car smoking in front of the store and told me that they actually close at 8 pm on week nights. I don't think that's true, I've been there after 8 pm in the past. But just so you know, depending on if they feel like leaving early, this location might not be open until 9 pm (as advertised).

Lately it's been closed every time my friends and I go during the hours it has posted to be open.

Just went to this location today’. Paid extra for extra veggies and sauces. Paid for a bowl and the woman there claims they no longer put it in the bigger bowls like every other location. I tried to ask her about this but she turned her back on me and ignored me.
I’ll never go back to this location. Others are much better and don’t cheap out on you when you pay extra. You order at hunt club and they give you exactly what you pay for. Not happy we went out today for this experience.

Good Thai salad and kind of healthy but really too small for the price. They should put more salad. It costs nothing. Not sure would go back

About what you'd expect from a Thai express. Ordered a pad sew and there was barely any veggies in it.

Cleanliness could improve. Tables seem to often be dirty.

Hi, I’ve been coming here for a few months. You guys have a gluten-free option which I get exclusively because of my celiac disease. Today, however, they seemed to completely ignore my special order.

I’ve been bringing my food home & getting sick from it. This is about the 10th time this has happened to me but today was the first time I caught on to what may be causing it, and the employees at the location didn't seem to care!

Is there anything anyone can do?

I’ve already messaged you guys on Facebook, but you don’t seem to really care? This use to be a good location!

I’d like this fix, since this is the only location that’s close to me where I don’t have to pay parking.
