The service is great, the food is delicious and the workers are some of the nicest people you will meet when you get to know them. Highly recommend the General Thai Racha!
I get take out from this place often and my experience has been good. Today My husband went to get take out. We ordered coconut Thai curry with shrimp and he said they gave it to him within a minute of ordering. That means this was an order that was pre made. There was no curry in it. It was soggy with a ton of vegetables and boiled shrimp on top. I am sick and wanted something warm to have and got this soggy mess instead. Very disappointed. The place is also not cheap. I won’t be ordering from there again
️ Rude staff. Incompetent staff. They never have the deliveries done on time. They don't apologize. They waste the drivers time, gas and put us at risk of tickets because they have no parking lot. Most importantly, they make the drivers other deliveries late. They are unprofessional and disrespectful. Take your business to another location.
Literally the best pot thai I’ve ever had & no. 1 in entire Toronto. Can’t even comparable. Since I moved to downtown, I barely go there but I often crave particularly this branch’s pot thai. I highly, certainly recommend this place. 백종원이 와도 못 이길 맛
I typically come here when I want a filling meal and I'm working.
The owner (?) Ivan is very friendly and seems to love what he does. He gets to know all his regulars and even remembers my order when I come back.
They also had an employee who double checked my pronouns to make sure they could address me correctly, which doesn't happen often and I'm grateful for it.
This place is quick and the ingredients are always fresh! It’s close to the subway station so I like to grab a bite on my way home. I recommend the general thai or pad thai with chicken. Thanks for the meal!
Asian woman named Beverly working the front is unpleasant to say the least. Awful unpleasant person. If this isn’t a franchised restaurant you guys should let her go she’s so mean
Here's a rude and obnoxious girl who always makes an impression and throws my order. I like it because I can eat delicious food here quickly. But I will give you a break for that rude girl.
I've been to this location a total of 3 times. Today I decided to try their new Thairacha chicken in combination with their spicy noodles. Mind you I am no stranger to spicy food. I have a selection of hot sauces at home which I frequent on a regular and possibly sadistic basis. Today was the antithesis of my hot food experience. I ate the noodles and chicken. Great flavor. Possibly a little heavy on the sweetness but I proceeded to finish my entire portion. Not 2 hours after I had finished.the trauma set in. First one trip. Then another. I don't need to elaborate on the type of trip I'm talking about. Finally the culmination was now, at 9: 48 pm on this cold Thursday night. I went for one last trip. A trip to end all trips. A trip that should have required medical attention for anyone not well versed in the arts of spicy food. My final sentiment: be careful. The gun may be loaded but God only knows who packed the ammo.
Love going to place after work. Food is always good and fresh because they make it right in front of you. Definitely try the chicken pad thai, I always order that. The spring rolls are pretty good too.
*this is not a review about this specific location, but instead a review about Thai Express. The staff at this location were amazing.
As a whole I am very disappointed in the prices of the items. $15 dollars for an average noodles and chicken doesn't seem justified to me. It is overvalued in my opinion. I regretted my decision to eat at Thai express and probably will never eat it ever again
