Tom Yum Soup and Basil Fried Rice were superbly prepared. All the staff here is warm and welcoming. They made the entire visit a lovely experience, will visit again.
Standard chain, nice employee serving. Food was basic, spring rolls are not worth it. They seem filled with the cheap stuff for appearance. Would be worth it if they had double the shrimp in it. They are also messy and fall apart.
The food was good as usual, but they would not let me use my SPC card without buying a combo. I’ve never had to get a combo to use my SPC at other locations before.
Our favourite takeout. We are usually there once a week. Love the fried chicken dumplings, stir fries and General Thai Mango Chicken & the cauliflower rice option. Their biggest asset however is their very friendly staff!
Maybe it's just me but I hate eating out of a box, and the pictures of the dishes shows them on actual plates and bowls. Not bad otherwise but I will only (maybe) come back if it's for takeout
Not impressed in the least. Was there on Sunday and the person making our food did a pretend hand washing. The station is right there for everyone to see, I asked him to wash his hands again, he just dipped them in the water. Then finally I said, can you please use soap and wash your hands, you've been handling 2 cell phones.he was annoyed at me however, the fact that I had to tell him this twice didn't impress me. The food was mediocre at best. My sons meal was drenched in sauce over 1 cup of sauce for a small box - the food was swimming in it. Their fresh rolls are way over priced for what you get $7 for a shrimp rolls which contained 2 shrimps at best. For 2 meals and a fresh rolls our meal was over $42.00 which is disappointing especially when you end up throwing it out. Won't be returning and I'm sorry I'm having to post such a negative review.
They were out of 2 of the 3 items we ordered, service was slow despite 2 extra bodies in the back not doing anything. Every single table in the dining room was dirty, 4 people working, 2 standing around, nobody cleaning tables. Very disappointing.
Service is good, staffs are polite and willing to explain the menu. Foods are tasty, Thairacha is so nice, balance the equation of crispy chicken and their spicy sour source. Pad Thai always my choice just a bit soggy. I am a big friend of watching stir-frying which a bonus if you wait there for your order.
I ordered a beef Pad Thai and found the rice noodles were not cooked enough little sauce (dry) a ton of noodles and not a lot of bean sprouts and lastly the beef was hard in some spots and very chewy. I do not recommend
We were excited to go to Thai Express tonight when we saw that it had just opened. We recently moved from Oshawa and often purchased food from there. We ordered two Tom yum soups. We have had them many times but the soups we received were so salty that we were not able to eat them. My husband brought the soups back and spoke to the owner. He called me to personally apologize, refunded us the costs of the soups and gave us some additional food at no cost. We just wanted to let him know so that he could make a new batch of broth. We did not expect a refund and free food. What amazing service! We will most definitely be back
Probably the worst take on Thai food I’ve ever experienced.
The spring rolls were repulsive. 6” long and 2” around of just lettuce and mint leaves. The Tom yum soup was so salty it was inedible. Tried everything plausible to try and make it edible and ended up feeding it to my chickens.
The main course meals were edible but very underwhelming. The place was busy but there were no clean tables in the building. Overall poor experience.
Ordered online, said it would be ready at 12: 08. I showed up at 12: 10 and waited another 15 min for my order to be ready. (don't waste your time with online ordering) They need to do some quality control, the chicken tasted like rubber. Thankfully it had a good amount of spice or it would of been gross.
Everyone working was super nice and appoligetic for the lengthy wait but waited 40 min for 3 meals and the pad thai was not cooked. The noodles were very chewy and the chicken was very fatty. Could not eat it. I hope it gets better with time but very disappointed for the money spent and time waited.
