Really delicious food all around! I don’t know why there are any bad reviews about this place, everything i had was delicious. Yes some of the dishes weren’t the most authentic and i wish some of the portion sizes were a bit larger for the price, but nonetheless the food was so delicious. I loved the drunken noodles - by far my favourite thing i tried.the wonton soup was also sooo goood, with very good portion size (we got a small and it was huge).
Tonight I had a mystery take out. I wasn’t sure what I was going to get in the bag and I had some kind of lovely beef, carrots, meat stew the flavours were amazing came with a side of rice mixed together. It was delicious. I tried calling twice couldn’t get through. I really want to know the name of this dish. I would definitely order this all over again.
Worst Thai food I’ve ever had. My noodles came as a gelatinous mess. It was disgusting. My sons fried rice did not have the veggies & meat fried with the rice. My spouse’s yellow curry was also a gelatinous goo. I can’t emphasize how terrible this ‘food’ was.
I ordered green curry today. The food had almost no flavour, it was pretty bland, and definitely not authentic. It was also too expensive, almost twenty dollars for just one dish!
I've ordered food from here honestly way too many times and not once has it ever been bad. Both their thai and vietnamese food are SO GOOD and they're really great with making modifications for people with dietary restrictions (i.e, I'm vegan). Definitely recommend!
Got the veggie drunken noodle for takeout, food was on time and service was good. Only thing is that some of the vegetables that came in noodle dish didn’t taste very fresh. Stomach felt a bit strange afterwards. The stir fried noodle dish also came with tomatoes, which I found very strange. Spice level was good for me though (can handle medium-high levels of spice). Would likely order again in a pinch, but not not if I had another choice. I really think they could do better.
The food doesn't taste like authentic, its more like chinese style cuisine to me personally. I had the fried rice with seafood and it was very bland, there were no thai flavours at all.
Not great food and even worst service! Pad-thai made with ketchup sauce! Feel free to order it and send it back if you want to taste it for yourself. The lemongrass chicken is another bad surprise: the chicken is boiled and dropped on a bed of tasteless riz! Also, I hope you enjoy the plastic plates!
Probably my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. They aren't cheap compared to the other Vietnamese restaurants, and it's delicious. Highly recommend their veg pho.
I come here with friends for dinner almost every Friday night. Very casual environment with great food selection, great prices, and incredibly friendly staff.
There was a good selection of toppings, again, fresh and tasty. I enjoyed my dinner, and the food was still yummy when I had the leftovers for lunch the next day.
I love the green curry beef, and red curry shrimp. Generous portions. It was so yummy that I went there 3 days in a row. Professional staff and very quick service.
Got takeout from here today. The fresh rolls only had noodles and iceberg lettuce in them? Where's the thai basil? Mint? Peanut sauce was watery and tasteless. Ugh, so gross! What a waste of $$$. Will not be returning.
Small place but the food is simply amazing. Some dishes I had here were actually better than what I had in Thailand. Basil stir fry, Mango Fish with Garlic, were all just so good. Highly recommended.
Soooooo goooood! Rice, chickpeas, cabbage, potatoes, and paneer (goat cheese) with warm, mild masala sauce. I loved it! Maybe I'll skip the cabbage next time though. My husband got a large bowl with rice, chickpeas, chicken, spicy warm sauce, and fresh cucumber relish. He loved his as well
I really enjoyed this modestly priced but very authentic Thai restaurant. The food is outstanding, waitstaff great, and menu extensive. It gets a “wow” from me!
Based on most of the dishes I have tried in this restaurant I would have given them 4 stars. There is a couple of things that made me decide on actually scoring this place a 5 out of 5. One of the the things is the amazing staff and excellent service they provided, another one being pad thai dish- the best pad thai I have tried yet.
We stopped in at Thai Tanic for a quick bite one afternoon between appointments to find that the menu has very few vegan and gluten free options on the menu. The kitchen could do little to accommodate this dining requirement as most of their sauces and bases aren't something that we were told could be changed. There are, however, vegetarian options available.
The decor is whimsical and the menus are artful and fun to look at. The cutlery is heavy and a joy to handle. The cutlery made such an impression that I photographed it!
We ended up ordering fresh rolls. They were mostly noodle, and dry, as none of the sauces were suitable for our vegan and gluten-free needs.
I love this small cozy Thai restaurant. It was the first time to eat Thai food, so I asked recommendation to the waitress. She nicely helped us with smile, showing their food ingredients to understand me! The dried noodle with hot soup was really authentic, which is tomyum soup. You should stop and try the tasty Thai food:)
This is the best Thai restaurant ever! This restaurant has a casual ambience that is very clean and well kept.the prices were lower than I expected, I was brought to this restaurant by friends who come here
Had a great meal last night, friendly service and good food. Drunken shrimp noodles were perfect, my wife had crispy noodles and enjoyed them, my son had chicken bites. Good food, good price. Kicking myself for not eating here before now, will certainly be back.
Very great atmosphere in a cute restaurant. The store offers a variety of food (Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, etc.), and the prices are very affordable. I would recommend their Pho, my friend and I order that almost every time we visit here.
Ordered 1 extra large pho soup via 'Skip the Dishes' and the broccoli was rotten. I called the restaurant and explained that the broccoli was moldy and the lady on the phone told me that they ordered the broccoli yesterday. They kept me waiting on the line for 10 minutes, and in the end, they only offered me a restaurant credit. I contacted Skip the dishes and got a refund through them.
I like the fresh vegetables and the sauces used in the dishes. The tofu could be cooked in a more appetizing way, but as a vegitarian/vegan you will have lots of options on their menu since the meat dishes can be substituted with tofu. The decor is so strange and the background music isn't great but we eat here for the food! The service is good too, never had a problem with the nice staff.
Ordered from skip the dishes. Our first time ordering thai and oh my goodness it's delicious, Seriously so amazingly delicious. Portions are huge. So worth the price. 10/10
On this rainy weekend, we were wanting something warm and spicy and this place delivered. While there are limited vegetarian options, our server was able to suggest really good options. The menu is simple and well marked in terms of what options there are for vegans. I had the drunken noodles with vegetable and the flovors were amazing. I would happily dine here again.
Ordered the green curry and drunken noodles off of skip the dishes and they were inedible. They smelt like cat pee (which I have never experienced for Thai food). The green curry was so viscous and lumpy and the drunken noodles were so stuck together and cold. All of my roommates even commented on the smell and how bad it was. I will never be ordering from here again. Worst Thai food I have ever ordered. My Thai is much better.
Ordered off of Skip the Dishes, so I can’t say anything about atmosphere or service, but the food was amazing. The pad Thai was the best I’ve had, and spring rolls were good too. Just be careful if you have allergies, I ordered beef as my protein and found tofu in the bowl, so if you do have allergies be careful to specifically say that you can’t have that item. Otherwise, no complaints!
The Green curry was a bit of flavor with corn starch to thicken. Absolutely not authentic, not good and definitely not worth $ 12 for a lot of canned bamboo, some peppers, canned baby corn and some sliced carrots. Also the fresh lime juice was served in a plastic bottle. Super unhappy, what a waste of nearly forty dollars. Way better thai food in town, especially for this price.
