Than Phat Asian Grocer

Wonderful place to shop any food ingredients for south East Asian cuisines. Walking the lanes I felt for a bit that I am walking a street across south east Asia. It may not be cheap, but in Canada it’s worth it. Give it a try. One point to bother is they don’t accept credit card. So carry cash or debit. The check out area is not organized.

Almost everything on shelf is expired. Been like that forever. If they desperately want to get rid of it then they should at least bring prices down. It’s wrong to keep prices the same when the product is already expired.
Another issue I have with this store is I bought a sandwich there one time it had no price sticker but when I came back again to buy another one the cashier charges me extra more. Very shady business.

Buyers beware. Please check best before date before buying anything in this store. Lots of expired foods and snacks. You tell them about it and they will just put it back on the shelf when u leave. They will blame your fridge for the meat going bad in less then a few hours after buying it. And more expensive than any other store of this kind. Too bad I can't give it 0 stars. I don't ever write reviews but this store is so bad that I have to warn others to stay away.

Awesome iconic place.i definitely prefer coming here over ethnic supermarket.prices are really good too with good variety of products!
