First time here on a saturday night. Heard of its great food catering service which i may try out. Food was okay for everyone. Food took long to come out. My linguine pescatore was satisfactory. Seafood didnt seem fresh. Would not recommend over other italian restaurants in Woodbridge but nice atmosphere and polite service

We just had our Holiday party here and absolutely loved it. The food was so yummy and Sarah and Juliana were great servers taking care of our large party. Thank you for your hospitality we will definitely be back

OUR GO TO PLACE!

We host our annual work holiday party at this fine establishment every year and we are repeat customers for a reason. The service and food are TOP NOTCH! Sarah and Juliana didn't even flinch at our large group of 30. Hot delicious courses are always served swiftly and with a smile. The owner Joe is always so gracious, personable and super easy to work with. Michalea is always fantastic at organizing our annual menu and we love having the private room to ourselves. Not one person from our party ever has any negative criticism and we always look forward to coming back again every Christmas. Thanks again to Joe and his amazing staff for making our holiday party a great one. See you again next year!

Absolutely loved the restaurant! Great for events! The food was exceptional and the servers: Sarah, Juliana and Mary were exceptionally accommodating.

Always a great time when we go to That's Italian. A real cozy feel with great food and terrific staff. Pastalicious was a great event. The specials are always good as well. Give it a try if you haven't. You'll leave happy.

What a beautiful experience! The food was delicious- I had he Mad Italian pizza and the hot oil they use is HOT! My husband had TWO plates of Spaghetti Gamberi because it was that good! The food is so reasonable priced and they do not charge extra for GF pizza! The ambiance is cozy and great for a romantic dinner or with the family- I do not know how they managed to make this possible but they did! The service is on point- the servers were attentive and informative. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and though they were super busy they made it their priority to check in on their patrons. It was a phenomenal experience all around!

Come here if you’re craving a seafood dish! Wow their seafood pasta is top notch, perfectly balanced savoury tomato sauce, the freshest mix of seafood from the sea, and your choice of pasta noodle cooked perfectly al dente. I’ve paid double the price at other Italian restaurants in the area and aren’t even close to this remarkable piece of deliciousness.

We had dinner here. I was not impressed. Service is slow the staff is rude with no experience and the food is below average. There are better restaurants in Woodbridge. We won't be returning. If I could give a 0 star I would have

I'm responding to the owners response Listen, you need to grow up and stop being so immature and take the reviews seriously. I don't know any lady that left a review. I'm stating the facts.so just listen when people leave reviews and try and make thier experience better. If you address it differently, then you'll probably have better results. Been dining in as well as ordering delivery from the friendly folks at That's Italian for a decade.never a disappointment in portions, quality, and service.in a sea of italian restaurants in woodbridge, thats italian always stands out as one of the greats.their catering abilities as well as private party rooms are also fantastic and a big separator from their contemporaries

I do love this place… and I am a very regular customer. Even throughout the pandemic I was here every single week. I send people there all the time and brought friends there just last month. But the service lately has gone way downhill. The kids who work there are constantly telling me I can’t order food or putting me on power hold, This is unfortunate because the manager is amazing! The catering service is well done but the day to day kids in there just don’t know what they are doing and are bringing down the name. Perhaps they need a lil more Education on Customer Service and phone etiquette.

Sadly our food took a long time. The arancini was disappointing, was hoping it’d be made in house but it was clearly premade and frozen prior. Calamari was the best item, their margarita pizza was a bit on the thicker side. Service took a long time and waited 15-20 mins for the bill alone. It’s a bit on the pricier side for what it is.

Best pizza for take out in vaughan.the way the dough is made.it stays crunchy even a few hours after you bring it home. So it's perfect for delivery. Also the staff is super friendly and Mario the co-owner is just the best! Highly recommend this spot

The best restaurant I have been to in a long time. They did not discriminate during the communist mandates and for this I will support them as much as I can. I highly recommend this restaurant as the perfect restaurant to go with your spouse for a date and an amazing meal.

Lovely Italian eatery. Food was good. If you are going with a large group make sure your getting what you ordered. Three large groups was overwhelming and they probably handle more intimate couples dining

First of all I wish I could give this restaurant 6 stars because that's what I feel they deserve. They were super busy and service is not fast, but the staff are friendly and patient and makes up for it. The food is amazing, from the lasagna to the veal picata to the pizza and chicken parmigiana. Never saw so many happy people in 2 years, feels like 1999. Thank you everybody over at That's Italian!

We drove from Mississauga to go to this restaurant and were not disappointed. The pasta is tasty. We absolutely loved the arancini appetizer as well.

Just one small thing to note is that we shared one dessert and noticed after we had already paid / reached home that we were charged for two. We understand mistakes can happen tho and we will be sure to double check the bill next time.

Absolute trash service. 45 minutes after being seated we had to flag staff down just to get water. We waited 1.5 hours to get food and it never came, the order got lost. We had to walk out. Staff completly ignored us. Very dissapointing as we had made a reservation two weeks in advance.

I absolutely love That's Italian Ristorane. Why? Because the food is delicious and affordable. The owner and staff treat everyone equally and don't discriminate. What a refreshing experience in today's divided society due to our disgusting government. I will always remain grateful for that.

I have ordered catering from here a couple times in the past, and I loved their food, especially for what they charge and the portion they give you.

I decided to eat here when restaurants reopened, but I was a bit disappointed with what I was served.

I ordered the salmone pasta with parpadelle, and a pizza for an appetizer.

The pizza was a bit overdone, but decent. But after the pizza it took 45 minutes to 1 hour to be served my pasta, and when I ate it half of the noodles were underdone.

When I got help from the server she was really nice, but said it “happens sometimes”. How often does this happen?

I asked for another pasta to take home as I didn’t want to wait forever in the restaurant and eat while my partner watched me. But then it also took forever to get the take out box ‍️.

In total I was at the restaurant for 2.5 hours, where most of my time was spent waiting. I left hungry.

Overall I am just sad because I was very excited to eat here. I will probably still get take out but I don’t know if I want to eat here in person.

My family and I went here for dinner. The food tasted amazing and the staff was kind. The food was reasonably priced. We will sure go here again. Would totally recommended.

Just had an amazing meal at this restaurant. The calamari, the lasagna, the wine, and espresso.magnificent!

I came here for my birthday yesterday, I originally booked for 8 however due to recent government changes impacting the economy I had to change it to 6. I booked online which was easy but I still had a few questions. However is was New Years so restaurants were closed, I happened to come across one of the owners profile (it's not that creepy as it sounds I swear) I sent him a message and her later responded being a huge help! This restaurant cares about their people and the community.

The atmosphere is warm and modern. You can walk in the front and see every seat and table (no divider walls). Our reservation was at 7: 30 which may have been late as they close at 9. It took some time for a server to come to us and to be honest this is the only slightly negative thing to say because everything else was great or amazing. We also have to keep in mind that because of the pandemic/government that there may be specific amount of short staffed. This was taken care of and got quicker as time went on.

So THE FOOD was delicious, calamari fritti was good and Pollo Parmigiana was filling I couldn't finish the whole thing I had to take left overs. We also had wine - they have a great selection. I had a glass of the Corte Cabernet Sauvignon which was so smooth I wanted to have more. Because yesterday was their only day open since the government is shutting down gyms and restaurants (again), they also gave us a few extras. Like garlic bread serves for but they notice we had five so they included and extra piece! They're generous and doesn't want people to feel unincluded.

Overall my experience there was over the top and their compassion is what community is about. It was past 9 and the kitchen was closed but the serve went to see what dessert was left because they knew it was my birthday. They allowed us to stay and take picture but gave us enough time to let us know when to go. One of the servers even gave me one of their fake flowers to take home. I'm sad Ford had to revert back to stage 2 and shut down indoor dining - once things reopen I would come back here. They went above and beyond.

If someone read this far can you tell me the full name of that Corte Cabernet Sauvignon so I can get a bottle myself?:)

This place was so accomidating for my Husbands surprise 30th birthday Party. I couldn't have pulled it off with out Michela the event coordinator. She was so patient with me even though i was a pain in the but. The staff on the day of the event was also incredible. The food was so good, and the amount of food that was served for the family style event we had was unbeleivable for the price. I will continue to come here for any large group event that I may have in the future. Thank you to everyone at Thats Italian who delt with my roudy group the other night! You guys are awesome!

Well simply put, the best pizza I have ever had!

The pepperoni was really good. Slightly fatter and smaller in size but really good tasting!

Service provided was 10/10!

The menu is a blend of pasta, proteins and pizzas.

The Caesar dressing was more of a thick vinaigrette and it was yum - I really enjoyed it! Not overly creamy like many restaurants serve.

I had reserved for about 15 people for my birthday in October. We had decided to choose this restaurant as they treat everyone fairly which is very important to us. Once we arrived, they were very welcoming and kind. Everyone had enjoyed their food and drinks. The service was very fast and the food was absolutely delicious! If you want a restaurant that serves great Italian food, treats everyone with respect and fast service then this is your place!

Let me tell you a personal story, during the Euro Cup finals I was in their bathroom an heard an unsettling hissing sound behind one of the bathroom stalls, as I opened the door slowly I saw Joe leaning over, feeding off dirt covered bocconcini, he then slowly turned around, looked at me right in the eyes, and whispered that's Italian.my brother in law Luigi was silenced when he expressed his opinion. Don't silence the truth.

O-M-G! How do I even begin to describe this place … It is unreal! The food was absolutely amazing! The staff are amazing! The space itself is amazing! I went there yesterday to celebrate my birthday, and let me tell you, this will be my go to for real Italian food. 10/10 on everything! Highly recommend:)

This guy Terry must have been living on another planet and gone to a different restaurant. My wife and I went to this SAME restaurant for the SAME reasons and had a COMPLETELY different experience. Bascially the EXACT OPPOSITE of what he is stating. The food was also brilliant. I wouldn't normally drive an hour to Woodbridge for dinner, but when I do.it's to support freedom. ;) Amazing gnocchi, I also had the lamb. All dishes, mains, apps-PRIMO!

Their respect of all people regardless of medical history is a POSITIVE thing despite what other reviewers have said. Keep up the kindness guys

Aggressively mediocre pasta. Pizza was half decent. Learning they are anti vax nutcases makes it confirmed I’ll never be visiting again.

AMAZING food! AMAZING service! Love this restaurant, the people are wonderful and the tiramisu is the best I've ever had. Our night was wonderful thanks to our waitress Elsa, and the wonderful Angie of course. Me and my family will definitely be back and we can't wait for it.

Delicious food however I unfortunately cannot dine at this establishment anymore. I have young children who are at high risk of getting sick and this restaurant unfortunately does not follow the vaccine passport and allows unvaccinated individuals. My children are too young to get vaccinated and now they can’t go to the restaurant anymore because it is too risky for them to be around unvaccinated adults.

It is not about “respecting people’s choices” when people who cannot get vaccinated are affected too

To say that the food here is mediocre is generous. The waitstaff is friendly. This may be the establishment’s only redeeming factor. Customer service attributes have not been learned from owner, Joe, who is quick to insult and demean any customers who have had a negative experience. There’s a reason they keep him in the back - rudeness and arrogance. Simply take a moment to read his replies to the reviews here. Constructive criticism isn’t his forte. Neither is pizza or the super bland pasta. At least the caprese and wine were good.

My husband and I drove out of our way to come here and we were so impressed! We ordered the bruschetta and calamari as appetizers, and the papa delle di Bosco pasta and the veal as our mains, and a side of fries. The food was absolutely delicious! Mary was a delightful waiter and we had a great chat with Joe. Thank you for not discriminating. We will be back!

We went there because of a Facebook post from the owner that they would not ask for vax proof. I thought great, they are standing up for this tyranny and we want to make a trip just to support this business.
But as soon as we entered, the guy asked me where my mask is. My wife wears a mask. I don't because I have a medical exemption. I told him that. And then he proceeded to ask me for papers proving my medical exemption. What is that? This is more pathetic than the other restaurants who ask for vax passport but honor mask exemption! We decided to leave and the guy kept asking us to stay.
No. I don't want to patronize this place. Even if I could convince him to accept my mask exemption, just by hesitating to let me eat there, I don't want to trust my health on this establishment!

What an amazing restaurant! What an amazing staff (Angie wins the award for Best Waitress in 2021 in the entire Woodbridge) & most importantly, what an amazing food! Ordered the papa delle dibosco pasta & Cacciatore pizza. It was to die for!

The food is always spot on! Tasty, fresh and truly Itlalian! Service is attentive and always personalized. Myself and some friends come weekly, several times!
I would also suggest you stop next door at their Espresso bar. Great coffee and very often lively debate, good fun banter and of course frequent laughs.

Most of all it's in great to see an establishment that respects people, their personal choices and is motivated, far more by doing what is right, instead of pandering to bias opinion!

Quite disappointed with our order. The calamari was very yummy but the rest of our order was underwhelming. Our two pasta dishes were bland and did not taste fresh. Even though they were different pastas, they both tasted the same. The included bread was stale and the chocolate cheesecake tasted run-of-the-mill and frozen. Sad that this local place to us was such a disappointment!

I enjoyed the Cinnabon cheesecake the most but everything was delicious. Thank you, Nicole for serving us.

I just received my food and I have to say it is AMAZING! I ordered the Penne Alla Vodka. It is the best Penne Alla Vodka I have ever had! I was even more surprised to see they threw in the yummiest bread with whipped butter. This will definitely be my new go to restaurant. Thank you!

Placed a delievery order via Uber eats. Quantity of the 2 pastas we ordered was amazing.both the Alla Diavola Pasta and Primavera Pasta were really delicious.though we found primavera pasta a little bland but a sprinkle of black pepper really brought out its flavor. The garlic bread was disappointing though! It seemed like regular bread with no flavor whatsoever!

I went to this restaurant a few night back, overall the staff were more disappointing than the food. They were very rude and were charging me as i did not leave them a generous amount in tips. Having said that, the pasta was not the greatest or saucy like we asked overall a very poor service.

Found this hidden jem. The food was superb service was outstanding. To end our meal was delicious dessert. Definitely would come back and would highly recommend this restaurant

Ordered the Cacciatore and the Sidernese pizzas. I was extremely disappointed with how the Cacciatore looked when they brought it out. It looks like they heated up a frozen pizza. I was hoping it tasted better than it looked. It didn't unfortunately. I've been to a lot of Italian restaurants and this place doesn't have that authentic touch. Their pizza is not good. I would rather go to Pizza Pizza. It doesn't need to be wood oven pizza but at least be quality pizza. I would never come back here for pizza.

I haven't tried anything else here so I can't speak on the rest of the menu but I can say that these pizzas I tried were awful. The servers were pretty nice. We had to ask for water twice before getting it but that's not a big deal.

Overall I'm really disappointed because I feel like Italian restaurants have the best pizza but this place was a huge let down. Me and my friend figured we would try it because of all the great reviews but I'm a little confused as to how this place has such a high rating.

EDIT: Just saw the owners reply. If you've been in business for 45 years then surely you aren't concerned about one honest review affecting your business. I'm not 'bashing' your restaurant. I left an honest review. It seems like the owner can't take criticism as you can tell from all the bad reviews and replies to them. The replies to bad reviews are very immature. As I stated I've been to a lot of Italian restaurants so I've had white pizza before and the Sidernese is not that great in comparison. If the food was amazing I would have left a good review. Simple as that.

Pre-Covid 19 this was our go to place for a good meal.we just did take out for the first time and everything was given to us hot and fresh, each item was packaged separately including the side dishes to the main course. You could tell that the staff took the time to ensure everything was put together well and in a presentable manner. There was plenty of cutlery, napkins, condiments etc. The food was excellent and we will be doing more take out that is for sure!

OWNER IS COVID POSITIVE, Staff have been exposed to covid positive man while making food for the public, doing PERSONAL deliveries and remaining on uber eats. We came to this place for dinner.we heard about this spot from many people. Well, it was very nice.the staff were so friendly and we felt excellent. The meal was fresh and delicious. We had a great time and we shall absolutely come back again.we highly recommend this place.

They've got a few tables patio style on the sidewalk & this tent set up too. Friendly staff always make you feel welcome. Was nice going out again!

Amazing amazing pizzas. I've tried them all and each cooked to perfection. The service is great and friendly. All the servers so far have been great but to date Luana has been my favourite server.

Food is great! Authentic. There is one waitress who is amazing everyone seems to like her however food is very slow. You can’t go on a lunch break unless you are flexible and dont mind waiting. I assume this is due to every meal being prepared individuals so take the food with the bad here in the end it’s worth it! I recommend and continue to return

Food is great, full variety of Italian dishes that make you feel like you’re dining at mommas famous home kitchen. Staff is courteous and friendly, service with a smile and attention to detail. My kids love the pizza there it’s their fav, they are hard to please! If something isn’t just right they’ll make it right for you and that’s the way it should be

I used their catering service for a work event this week The process was so easy compared to other places. Thank you Michella! A delicious meal especially the salmon provenzale. (a good sized portion that is so tasty! Everyone LOVED it). A very good experience.

My wife and I went to That’s Italian for Valentine’s Day. It was our first visit there, hopefully there will be many more. We were greeted by genuinely friendly welcoming smiles, and concern for our comfort (even though the restaurant very busy, due to the occasion).

In brief, the deliciously prepared food (all courses), the wines, the attentive service: all A+

Food was great, service was great. We spent longer than usual chatting and having a great time. Not once did we feel rushed. Highly recommended.

The food was terrific. A great lunch atmosphere and even though they were short staffed the waitress was very kind. The only negative would be that there was a bit too little sauce but we asked for more sauce and the waitress happily brought some more. And the waitress apologized for the sauce incident by giving us a free cappuccino at the end of our meal. If we’re ever in town again we’ll definitely return.
