The best sticky toffee pudding I've ever had. Perhaps even the best dessert I've ever had.

I usually go there when I’m craving a delicious burger, however that past two times I’ve been, the burger has been completely dry and overdone. I remember it being juicy. For $26 I do not want to eat a thick dry burger. Hopefully it gets more consistant. I told the server, but she didn’t seem to care.

We really enjoyed our dinner at The Ace. Service and ambience were excellent. The pork dish was one of the best pork I have had in my life.

Good food in a cozy old school style restaurant. They put us on a waitlist with an estimated 20 min wait, and that gave us enough time to go for a walk, have a coffee at a nearby Tim's and do some window shopping. Waitress was welcoming, funny, there to offer extras if needed. Great Saturday brunch.

I find it surprising that this place holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition, given the requirement for good and consistent service. A staff member, asked a group to wait outside for registration in a sour way. Following registration, I was informed of a 45-minute wait, only to receive a call 35 minutes later, notifying us they couldn’t serve us due to closing time. Despite them knowing their times, they made us wait, and they even had empty tables. In my opinion, this falls short of the expected standard for good service.

Had dinner here last night. Very cosy space, in a good way. Loved being able to watch the chefs prepare dishes from the open kitchen. Our server, Asa, was superbe! Friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. We had the scallop tosdada, devine. He had the Iberico ham "steak", me the salmon, both great. My kale side was over seasoned, why 4 out of 5 stars for food, but definitly didn't ruin the evening, and looking forward to returning soon.

Omelette and potatoes are great for a lighter meal. Tastes just how you'd want them too. A really good choice.

Fresh orange juice is exactly what you'd expect. Perfect for all you non-coffee drinker our there in the morning.

The French toast is just ok. Felt like eating dry toast with cutleries.once you get past the top layer of toppings. The toppings are good but I don't feel it's a cohesive dish. Least favourite item I've had on the menu.

My sister and I went to the Ace with our cousins who were visiting from Chicago. We’d remembered going to the Ace several years ago and really enjoying it. This place surpassed our expectations and we were proud to introduce our visiting cousins to this unique place. Our waiter, David, was lovely. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He took his time to discuss best cocktails and dishes and made a note to remember our names every time he came to our table. It felt like we had been invited to a lovely dinner party. Looking forward to trying some of the dishes that weren’t on our menu below. Brunch is also amazing at the Ace!

Incredible! We had the steak frites, ibirico pork and the chicken. All three were great in their own way, best bite of pork Ive ever had, steak was juicy and the frites were cooked perfectly. Cocktails were also fabulous as was the service. Great service and vibe, excited to return for brunch! Deserving of the michelin.

Server and front of house manager seemed like they did not want to be there at all. Bar tender was great but the cocktails were disappointing. Ordered the steak with fries which was below average. Tiramisu for dessert was really the worst I've ever had.

I was excited to go to the this place but I will not even bother trying their breakfast after that dinner.

Maybe one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. The big table at the front by the window is a cozy and comfortable vibe, and the food was so flavourful and delicious. Cocktails were also on point. The service was so personable and friendly and Bree was the best. We will definitely be back and we’ll be recommending this place!

Just experienced a horrible brunch. My first time out in months and decided to give my money to this location. Such a big mistake. We asked the staff to clear the table the response with attitude was we are very busy. I find this very surprising when they are well aware that their restaurant will be full and they only have so many seats so to have this excuse is unacceptable. No one was busy. However, they feel it’s OK to leave dirty plates on the table up to 15 to 20 minutes no one checked in on us, no water was refilled and again lots of attitude. It’s such a shame that this one person ruined the entire experience. The kitchen staff do not need people like this serving their food. I definitely recommend the staff retraining in customer service.

My wife and I always enjoy our visits to The Ace and our recent visit was no exception. The burgers are delicious here and a burger and a beer at The Ace on Roncy always hits just right. Can confirm: other menu items also

Had Brunch there on Saturday…. Love the vibe! Had a reservation and think was good idea…. Place was hopping even at 11AM.
Great service and loved the eclectic menu!
Placed our order just about same time as table of 3 behind us…. Seems they got our food as when they brought ours out it was not what we ordered……strange the other table did not recognize wrong dished served but we said bring back the 3 plates and we got to try 3 different dishes and shared at our table. THe duck confit was fantastic and the bacon on other dish was some of the best bacon we ever enjoyed! Ohhh and he French Toast…we shared as dessert OMG mind blowing! The staff turned a negative into a positive! Great save guys…. We all enjoyed and had some laughs over what happened! We will be back!

Everything about this place is perfection. A friend takes me here for brunch and says " this will be the best brunch you've ever had ".

I reply, "What makes it so special ".

He replies, "You'll see".

He was not over speaking. The vintage diner vibe is a total vibe. Our server was impeccable without coming across as working for a 30% tip. And the food.

The potatoes were seasoned to perfection. The bacon. THE BACON. SO THICK AND DELICIOUS. And the hollandaise sauce is so creamy and flavorful.

Just. Go. What a wonderful experience and gem in the city.
