I just purchased a stunningly beautiful vintage Gibson les paul custom from Mark. His knowledge of the vintage guitar market and fairness when it came to pricing his guitars and evaluating a trade-in are all superb and I would recommend everyone who wants a straight forward transaction to shop here. I ended up with a dream guitar at a very fair and reasonable deal and have absolutely no complaints about my experience. As someone who has lots of experience with guitars it's obvious that he curates some extremely fine pieces that will never leave anyone feeling short changed or disappointed. I have 100% confidence in this shop moving forward as a fair, honest guitar shop. In a world of large faceless retail the acoustic room is a welcome experience for those who love guitars.

An incredible guitar store. I brought my guitar in to see what work needed to be done, the man not only showed me how to fix it but also gave me what I needed to do it for free. They have an incredible selection of guitars for great prices too! Highly recommended visiting!

The Acoustic Room is absolutely amazing. I very badly needed a tune up, string change, action looked at, and fretboard cleaned. I started getting really concerned because my action started dipping way lower than I wanted. I took it in Friday evening, Mark took a look at it and gave me assurance that he’d fix it right up. They gave me priority and made my guitar brand new again. These guys are amazing at what they do and you can really tell the love they put not only in selling beautiful guitars but also bringing an old guitar back to life. Highly recommend.

The guitar arrived quickly, in excellent condition and impeccably set up (Mark had asked first about my playing style). The price of both the guitar and the shipping were very very reasonable.

I'd once, passing through Hamilton, visited the brick and mortar Acoustic Room and was pleased that stock featured offerings beyond the usual big names, giving customers a chance to get their hands on some boutique and not widely accessible brands. In store, too, Mark was friendly, very knowledgeable (gear talk) and helpful - at the ready, but also giving the customer lots of space to get to know instruments interrupted.
