I went to the auto station based upon my mechanics referral for an alignment. After they checked out my car they told me that I needed some work done before they could do the alignment. I didn't expect that I needed this work done (very thorough inspection) so I told them I would have to come back when I had some more money. Since I didn't get the alignment done or any work done there they were going to charge me $100 for the inspection. However once I told them that they didn't tell me this before I brought my car in they waved the inspection fee. During the inspection they provided me with a car to use, which I thought was amazing since the car was in for an hour. Although the waiting room is very nice I needed to get some work done at the time, so it was a good idea for me to have this loaner car. It was because of the way the girls in the office treated me that I came back for the second time to get the alignment done. The second time they also gave me a loaner car and fixed the alignment, which was in terrible shape. My car handles like a new car and I am thrilled with the service from these people. The whole team there (the front clerks, the mechanics, to the follow-up from the manager) was excellent. Great shop, great team. Thanks ladies, You made me feel confident in your team from the outset. I'm glad you represented so well:) Highly recommend!
Absolutely the worst place to go. Disgraceful over priced parts, total scammers, and will take advantage of you. They may be able to delete the bad reviews but my one time experience says otherwise. Please don't waist your time. I don't even care how they may address this review. Just check out all the BAD reviews, and look at how many say that the bad reviews were helpful. The owner sits on his laptop all the time weeding out the bad reviews, and getting others to fake good reviews. How pathetic is that?
Wordy comment as follows: Sometimes people are great and know what you need. Honesty is a big deal. I can gladly say that a very expensive repair was needed and done right. My electric car is not common and it makes things harder to figure out at times. Never has there been a moment where they say. "best go somewhere else"! This happened to me many times before my wife found and suggested this place to try! The Auto Station has been more professional than recent trips to BMW, Chrysler, Hyundai & Kia stealerships over the past few years for several different cars. Unlike the stealerships; They email /text you a full diagnostic with photos and codes.it's pretty slick. Oooh.and they lend you a car to drive while your's is getting fixed! The Ladies/Gents at front of house know cars, don't think they aren't knowledgable! Mechanics show me all the stuff replaced and even drove around with me to show me how my car works (just when you think you know stuff)! Did i say too much?
So far this was my 2nd visit to the shop and I have to say I'm very pleased with their service! The first visit was the reason why I came back to them because of the great service they offered the first time around. They were able to diagnose an ongoing issue where one of my front bearings kept wearing out so fast which my previous shop couldn't troubleshoot. The previous shop just kept buying new bearings every few months without figuring out and fixing the root cause which happened to be a combination of things (knuckle, CV axel) as Auto Station discovered and fixed. They even give you a detailed report of the findings and repair cost. Their price as someone else mentioned is not the cheapest out there but you get what you pay for especially when they even offer a free loaner vehicle which I can't think of many places that do. Highly reccomend you check them out! Friendly staff too.
Have been to auto station couple of times. Recently they replaced rear brakes, rotors and callipers which worn out within warranty (under 3yrs) without any cost to me. They were quick to give me an appointment and helping right away. They are bit higher on cost, however their staff Serena and others are prompt in responding and their auto technicians do good work. Thanks auto station team.
Very helpful staff. Knowledgeable about what they're doing, considerate and easy to work with. Brought my car in twice (so far) for issues that they were able to diagnose and provide a detailed report. You might be able to get cheaper repairs elsewhere, but here you're paying for quality parts and excellent service.
I dented in the corner of my bumper hitting a chunk of ice in the winter. They were able to pop it out in about an hour and you can’t tell anything had ever happened to it. Fabulous service and skilled workmanship. Highly recommend them. Over delivered on workmanship and honest.
Brought my 2021 Ram in for a battery problem. Front desk staff was very courtesy & friendly. Got me in & looked after in a timely manner. They brought to my attention that my truck needed an oil change. Gave me a courtesy inspection & informed me I would need new tires in the near future. The whole experience was very honest & efficient. Will be back when it is time to replace the tires. Kudo’s to the technicians in the back
Been Trusting The Auto Station for a few years now. I’ve had fairly new vehicles so it’s been mostly general maintenance.
That being said, they’ve helped me out of a few jams over the years. From unexpected tire repairs, to needing an oil change before a last minute trip. They have always found a way to help me out. The few repairs I’ve needed have always been quickly diagnosed and completed.
The vehicle report that they provide is great and helps you stay aware of your vehicles condition.
They’re also one of the few places that offer courtesy cars which is a major help.
They take really good care of you. And it’s hard not to leave with a smile when you see the owners pups lounging on the chairs.
I took vehicle to them for repairs while I had got it diagnosed already, they kept vehicle for a day and charged me again for diagnosis. The repairs estimate they gave was double the price of car. They offered me a used motor for 4100$ where as the same can be purchased for under 1500 from any used parts dealer. It was a complete disappointment to visit the auto shop
As a customer I value communication and I was amazed at the quality, frequency and clarity of the information I received. Amazing business model and fact-based reporting on the condition and status of my vehicle. Highly recommend.

Had a great experience. No one wants to hear their car needs work done, especially near the holidays.but despite that, the team was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. They sent me texts and emails, one with a full report of my car alongside pictures of said issues, which was super helpful. Considering I know nothing about cars, it helped paint a better picture of the condition I was in. Morgan also kept in constant update with me about the status of my car and was quick to answer my questions. Would 100% use The Auto Station again!
Super friendly and helpful people! I just moved back to the country and my car was not going to pass a safety test. They lent me a car until I could find one to buy and helped me through the whole process of scrapping my old car, suggesting where to look for a used car and checking a couple of them out for me before I bought one. I took my 2013 Elantra in because there was a rattling noise and I’m going on a trip soon so I wanted to make sure everything was in order. The noise turned out to be the heat shield which they removed. As well they checked all my fluid levels so that I am all set for a safe trip. Met the newest staff member, Montana, who was very nice and helpful. I also got to visit with the dogs. I’ll be back over the next couple of months to get an oil change. I really like going to Auto Station because everyone is knowledgeable and pleasant. They are very trustworthy and excel at Customer Service. I recommend them to my friends all the time. Even though I live in Stoney Creek it’s worth the drive to Burlington
I’ve had only great experiences here on my car! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and I’m always happy with the work done on my car. The courtesy loaner cars they give make the everything easy and they always email pictures and report before doing the work.
I found the staff very helpful and knowledgeable when I brought my Audi Q3 in for service. Their computerized service report showed all areas checked with the status. I’m happy I found Auto Station and I’ll be back for all my services.

Repair check engine light. The evaporation canister was cracked, causing a leak. Leak was found and repaired. I was lent a loaner to get back to Hamilton and returned about 3.5 hrs later after a text. My car was ready to go. Great personal and would recommend them.
I needed new tires and The Auto Station had them ordered and installed within a few hours. They offered me a loner vehicle while the work was being done so I could get some running around done in the meantime. Communication was great and they texted me as soon as the work was complete! I will be returning for future repairs when they come up. Top notch all around, plus they have the greatest furry greeters at the door!
Took my girl friends car in for service. A bunch of dogs running around like a kennel. Mechanics have dog hair on their clothes. They’ll also do additional services to your car without asking like change filters when you ask for a tire change. Won’t be back

Recommended by Goodyear Canada to have my 4 pickup truck tires replaced under warranty (even though purchased through auto dealership repair facility). Appointment quickly setup at a convenient time, work performed quickly with detailed pictures of recommended repairs and free car wash when all completed. Quoted charges for complete front & rear brake job (replace rotors & pads) I must say came in much higher than anticipated, compared to what dealership service centre quoted. Overall a happy experience, super friendly reps Abby & Serena, answered all questions. Would consider coming back again for future work.
I needed a last minute safety inspection done on our car. They fit us in and did a great job. A part needed to be replaced and they were able to it right away. Great service.
In the morning, Serena talked to me patiently and got me a last minute appointment because my van was having starting problems. Then my van got started in my own drive way and I called and cancelled the Appointment. Abby and Serena were both very professional and patient with me though I was not decisive. Abby recommended me to come in and check it out anyway in case it happens again out of concern for my family. I thought that it was fine because CAA checked it for me and it seems to be working fine in the morning. Finally, my van wouldn't start again in the afternoon. I had my van towed to Auto Station right before they closed. They got me a loaner car so that I can continue to do my daily errands though I came in right before they closed.
Abby called, texted and emailed me the next morning but I was busy and only got back to her in the afternoon. They did a diagnose test and cleaned the parts that connects to my battery for my van. And my car was able to start the engine. She explained the condition of my van to me patiently and even found and sent me numerous of video to explain the importance of each item, prioritized the work order for me very patiently throughout the day.
At the end of the day, due to my current financial situation, I couldn't afford to do all the work at this point yet. Abby was very understanding. She explained what can be waited and how long it can be waited. Abby and Serena were both very patient, professional, kind and helpful. I am sure Grace is very nice too but I was already well taken care by Abby. They made my stressful days much brighter.
Just visited the auto station again November 2/2021. As always very happy with the service.
Visited the auto station Sept 22 for a check engine light on my Volkswagen. The garage diagnosed the problem quickly and made the necessary repairs. When I returned to pick up my car the friendly staff brought out the actual failed part to show me. They also sent me an in depth report that included pictures. They checked several other items free of charge. I was fully expecting them to suggest I change the cabin filter since that’s what most garages typically do. The auto station was honest and said that it was ok. I knew it would be ok since I just had it changed a few weeks prior. In addition, they washed the car and provided a courtesy car. I will definitely be back. These guys are honest and great to deal with. I don’t impress easily but I can honestly say I was impressed.

Recently just brought my girlfriends mazda tribute in as the car has had a long life. We knew something was wrong but didnt know what. Once we brought it in they found the problem quickly and made it road safe within the day. They were professional and thourough and the front desk girls were a huge help with figuring out what we need fixed. She cant seem to part ways with the rust bucket so it saved me the headache. Recently brought my 2013 Ford F150 with 300+ kms in for some much needed service and maintenance. It was my first visit to the Auto Station and the Team was fantastic to work with from appointment through completion of the work. Professional, detailed explanations of the work required, high quality service completion, complimentary loaner while the service was being completed, and a fully vacuummed, and washed vehicle on pick up. I am writing this review as a courtesy to honest individuals in the Burlington area. I am a well educated professional in the area. My family is well respected in our neighbourhood and I experienced what appear to be fraudulent behaviours by the Auto Station. Please read my review carefully before leaving your vehicle with this shop. I am already expecting the owner to reply to this review with more dishonesty, but please understand that if this review is still posted, then the dishonesty from this shop has continued and the issue has not been resolved. I will remove this review once the owner makes this right. I have chosen not to put my name in this review for privacy reasons. - in short, what appear to be fraudulent activity have taken place without explanation: 1.my credit card was charged a different amount than I was told 2. My vehicle was damaged by the shop and the shop refuses to respond to these damages 3. After reaching out regarding damages, the shop emailed me stating that I now have an outstanding balance at the shop (which is contrary to all emails and invoices from the shop) Before going to the shop, gasoline was put into the gas tank of my Diesel engine truck. The truck was not started. Upon calling the Auto Station, a price was agreed to for the work that needed to be done to remove the gasoline from the gas tank. I specifically asked the shop to not start the vehicle because I did not want gasoline making its way to the Diesel engine. I even left a note on the steering wheel to remind the technician. My vehicle was towed to the shop
-The technician decided to start my vehicle so he could move it. He then broke the fuel filter.
-Grace, very honestly disclosed this to me
-Upon expressing my concern, Serena took over and denied that any of this took place and wanted to charge me for the fuel filter on top of this.
- Serena who works at front desk, claimed that she is a licensed mechanic technician
-Serena stated that my vehicle would not be released unless I paid for work and damages that I did not authorize for them to do I then received emails from Serena stating that they would not charge me for the fuel filter When I picked up the vehicle my credit card was charged a different amount than I was promised
-Upon putting diesel into my vehicle, I immediately noticed diesel leaking. I took pictures and videos and emailed them to the shop
-The shop ignored my several emails for a week until I explained that further action would be taken
-Steve emailed stating that the work is complete and that I have an outstanding balance.
-I emailed Steve regarding the dishonesty taking place and now await his response and resolution.
-Currently, am concerned my new 2019 vehicle was damaged out of spite.
-Upon speaking with friends in the area, I am not the first to experience these kinds of activities with this shop.
-Again, the owner will most likely respond to this review with dishonesty, I have several contradicting emails from them already doing this (just as they most likely did with Anthony D’s review below)
-upon reading other 1 star reviews, I am learning that others have similar problems and the owner responds by claiming he has spent so much time addressing the concerns and makes accusations of ulterior motives
- my concerns have not been addressed. Emails from the shop contradict each other.
- I ask that the owner respect my right to privacy and not post my name anywhere
- all conversations have been documented with full logs and in presence of witnesses. The owner is cautioned against making any false accusations -I hope this review helps others to not experience what I am going through If this review is up, the issue remains not resolved. - Steve, once I left with the truck and filled the truck with gas I immediately reported the leak by email with pictures. I diligently politely followed up by email. No threats were uttered and caution your use of false allegations and slander. Please provide recordings and witnesses of your allegations-I will do the same. Your response was as expected.
Steve, Brent and the folks at Auto Station are extremely knowledgeable and passionate when it comes to cars. We have been going to them for years and my recent experience with a very challenging and hard to find issue with my Audi validated this choice. Steve and Brent took the issue on as a personal challenge and made sure they found and fixed it right. Their final bill was more than fair given the complexity of the issue and I know from experience that they always stand by their work, no questions asked.

I went to Auto Station as my 2019 Mini PHEV needed some service. They got my car in same day with no appointment, gave me a loaner for the day, & had my car back as promised. I saved just under a $100 by not taking it to the Mini Dealer & got a free loaner for the day & an extended warranty on the service at no charge! I also didn't have to go to Oakville to get the service work done! Next time it needs service it will be going back to Auto Station!
Everything is great. I appreciate the autostation for their experience in automotive care. Thanks again for reviving the 2006 Toyota. Feel a lot safer on the road. They were very diligent in keeping me in informed through the entire process. The repair process was facilitated by attentive and competent staff and technicians to boot. I will definitely vouch for these folks who are masters at their craft. A great experience having a safety inspection completeted with autostation as well as an inspection related to a non starter. They literally diagnosed and went above for me including a courtesy car. Koodos to these fine folks.
Great service! Went in for a safety standard inspection & certificate, full report provided online and able to fix wipers same day. Took a little longer than 1.5 hrs, but issued certificate quickly for us since we had to meet ServiceOntario appointment - was able to get transfer of ownership done. Friendly staff, especially woman with cool red pink hair (sorry didn’t catch her name) — overall great choice!

This was my first time at The Auto Station. Excellent service and very friendly staff. I love the fact that they have loaner vehicles. I can see why the reviews are excellent. They even washed my car! The best part was the very detailed and clear printout of what was needed and why, pictures included. How much more honest can you be? I will definitely be back and I HIGHLY recommend The Auto Station for your vehicle needs. 10/10 in my books.

Highly recommended. I've been a customer for a couple years. I've been to other good shops but The Auto Station is exceptionally good, very organized and well run. They have loaner cars if needed (and I've always taken them up on), they text and/or email detailed reports, including photos of any findings and estimated costs. They keep records at their fingertips on your vehicles, what's been done and what was recommended for future. And as an added bonus, the whole team is awesome. Steve the owner, is great and goes the extra mile to help you. And the staff are all welcoming, personable, friendly and knowledgable. Great place!
I tried the auto station for the first time recently after deciding to not go to the kia dealership like usually. The service was done swiftly and for a really good price. They identified a few weak spots of the car very professionally. Since I was aware of most those issues already it confirmed to me that they really check the cars thoroughly and don't try to sell unecessary repairs. They also offered a courtesy car for the waiting time and even washed the car after servicing it. It was a very positive experience and I am coming back for sure. Highly recommended!
The most wonderful place! I’ll never go to the dealership again! They even offered me a car to use while mine was getting its oil changed. Wow! I was totally impressed. This is my new spot!
What can I say, Steve and the staff at the Auto Station are amazing and so very accommodating. We have two vehicles so rather than write two reviews I’ll cover both here. We have a late model Toyota that was due for and oil change and tire change over. We received a full report on the status of the vehicle along with photos of areas of concern and that is a great touch along with the use of a loaner vehicle. We also have a 2020 Kia which we had scheduled for a tire change over, as the car was due for its 6,000 km service I asked to have that to be done as well and it was. An amazing experience and we will be taking our cars there for now on rather than a dealership. Thank you for the great service and experience, I will be referring my friends.
I work in Burlington and these guys are my go to car shop whenever I need a reliable and safe service. I took two cars to the auto station on two separate occasions. One brand new BMW that had very weird sounds coming from one tire and I didn’t feel safe to drive it home from work. They got the tire thoroughly inspected. Turned out it is just dirt and grim so they cleaned the tire inside out (which solved the problem) and didn’t charge me for it. Second car had a flat tire and this one had special tires on that after an internet research was only found in a warehouse in Hamilton so they gave me a loaner car. Got the tire from Hamilton and installed it and I got my car back all in a matter of few hours. In the two occasions the service was above and beyond, the communication was always stellar my cars got courtesy cleaning and I was above satisfied. I always recommend them to my coworkers and I hope this review will recommend them to even more people. A small business that excels above the big ones is always a story I am happy to share. They provided last-minute service when my muffler broke off from the flange, gave me a loaner car for the night, and even worked with me to get the price of parts down. Could not recommend more!
Went out of their way to get me in looked for best value for my needs I do a lot of driving need a good reliable mechanic I can trust who is not out to overcharge. This is that place I’ve used this establishment 3 times and everything was done well and at fair value also the advise is very good.
Auto Station is locally situated in Burlington, I use them for everything auto related, they service all three of our vehicles. Quick, informative (explain what needs doing-cost) plus they always have a loner if you only have one car at home. Prices are fair, services idle great- would highly recommend giving them a try- especially if your fed up with the high cost of dealership repairs.
I needed to get a safety certificate to sell my car that day and fortunately they were available immediately. When I dropped it off they told me it may take a few hours and gave me a rental car. 1.5 hours later, it was already done! Thankfully my car had no issues and they didn’t try to get me to replace anything I didn’t need to. Great, warm, friendly customer service. I even had a moment where I thought I had forgotten something inside the rental car and bugged them again and again (I found the item at home). They weren’t annoyed at all but very understanding.
1. Everyone was friendly and nice and timely. Able to see me without an appointment
2. None of the staff was wearing a mask. The by-law #62-2020 in Burlington states face masks are to be worn in indoor public places. Here at the Auto Station, customers are to wear masks but employees to not. There is a 1m x 2 m plexiglass barrier that is not sealed around the edges and that does not protect against airborne droplets. Please wear your face masks as we are all trying to keep safe as a collective society.
3. The reception called me and stated that the noise in my car was the rear strut assembly which was to cost $1100; when I declined she stated later she was mistaken and it was actually the suspension stabilizer that needed to be fixed (480.06 dollars - see photos). A simple mistake of misinformation and miscommunication between the staff would have cost me $1100. I suggest your mechanics are to call customer as they would convey accurate information without having a broken telephone effect. Its also more effect when the customer wants to ask technical questions and can’t get them answered.
I decided to take my car to Canadian tire instead. There, the initial inspection was cheaper ($50 taxes in at Canadian Tire vs $62.50 taxes not included at Auto Station) and the parts and services were cheaper.
Please answer me this question: why are the suspension stabilizer links at The Auto Station charged at $183.78 per unit while at Canadian Tire they were $49.99? Seems odd to me, don’t you think?
We used Auto Station services on two recent occasions, the first time this October to replace the oil pan gasket and perform related adjustments on our BMW 535 ix GT and the second time last week to change the summer rims and tires with the winter ones. On both occasions, the expertise, experience, timing and efficiency, client relations and overall professionalism were exceptional. On each occasion Auto Station offered us a courtesy car. We have always maintained our cars at the relevant dealership, being Audi or BMW, but the level of professionalism and expertise of Auto Station is such that we will only use them in the future.
