The Bagel House

I used to go here very often but it’s become soooooooo expensive for a dozen bagels, I’d rather go without. It’s very upsetting things have become so pricy and somewhat unaffordable for a lot of customers. The bagels are amazing but it’s hard to justify the price.

I used to love The Bagel House. Unfortunately, the quality at this location has gone down. This was the 2nd time where the bagels tasted stale and dry when I bought them fresh. On top of that, one large cream cheese was over $20.

Traditional Olde world wood fired smell permit through the sence of smell something more than greed an understanding of balance between quality and invited cost as you draw up on this uncompromising brick and mortar store to the public!

Do not recommend! I got a lox and cream cheese. I am allergic to onions and do not like capers meaning only salmon and cream cheese in the sandwich. I asked "without" three times due to the employee asking me twice, which is perfectly fine. I got my sandwich and there were onions in it. I told the employee in front of me there I asked without the onions. They apologized and proceeded to give me another one. The girl who served came to me and said that I said "with", that I wanted onions and I was wrong. I just told her again "I said without three times". I got my sandwich and went home and when I opened it there was a single onion left in it and the smell of onion. Meaning they used the exact same bagel as before. I did not eat it and will not be returning. Rude customer service.

Good bagels, but they can't count. Short changed too many times. Moving on from this shop.

I’m a big on bagel sandwich, I got the club it was good I would buy again but my personal opinion the best bagel house in the city for price and taste is This place called Timmys bagels 2834 Markham Rd, Scarborough, ON M1X 1E6 they also have the best hot food table such good quality.

I like your Bagels. I'm disappointed that when I ordered a dozen today around 12pm and only got 11 Bagels after arrived home.

Great bagels! The salmon cream cheese is amazing and included chunks of real smoked salmon. Plus they're open 24 hours so I was able to grab some bagels when most things on the street were closed.

If your into Montreal style bagels this place is it. It's chain business so there are plenty of locations throughout GTA. I like the Bayview location cos they have whole wheat bagels without the seasme seeds. They're delicious!

Expect to wait 10 mins before getting your order taken, and other 10-15 mins before they make it. It takes them 3 people to make 1 sandwich. Bagels are also stale

Great bagels, but the service is terribly slow. The prices have also increased drastically above the quality of bagels.

Used to be worth going out of your way for, but something has changed and it’s average at best or maybe a bit below. Bagels aren’t fresh anymore. And bagelboard is soft and soggy and not worth purchasing.

I bit into my bagel board leaving the store and asked if it’s meant to be crispy as mine was mushy, and she said it is meant to be soft. Then I bought some from a competitor and they were crispy and much better.

Hopefully they improve overall, it really used to be going out of our way for.

The pretzels are still good at least.

Delicious freshly baked bagels. Some additional baked goods are for sale as well - the apple cinnamon flavoured items are delicious.

Garbage customer service very racist establishment and the foods trash. Better off going to Tim Hortons at that point. Tell the owner to learn how to treat his customers of all race and color. I witnessed this to another client while present. Would GIVE a -1000 the guys a toolbag.

I've been to this store several times. The bagel is super tasty, but today I was treated so badly that I will never go back there. The cashier (probably the owner) was so rude that I left the place crying.

This place doesn't look so amazing from outside. Hell it doesn't even give off a wow factor inside!

Let me tell you though, this is THE place.

The staff are friendly polite and make great food. I showed up at 5: 30 am (it's 24h) and the staff treated me like a king! Made me fresh coffee, a delicious sandwich, a hot chocolate and asked what more they could do.

It's a bagle shop but they staff and food would better fit a mid level restaurant. I hope I can go back, they are amazing

Love their bagels 10/10 bagels for sure…. But wouldn’t you think of serving the customers in store first before making pick up orders? And maybe having more than 1 staff member working in the morning?
