Owners put detailed thought into design of motel and overall business model.excellent hospitality from staff to top it off.incredible place for a solo staycation.

Way overpriced. Parking was very tight made for smaller vehicles otherwise you can park on the street. Room was clean. Nice showers. Upstairs patio closes at 9. There is no restaurant but there are some within walking distance. Continent breakfast with some homemade jams for toast and bagels. There is no staff after 10pm until the next morning at 8 or 9.

Housekeeping is great, rooms are always clean and fresh smelling. The workers go above and beyond to accommodate the guests. Housekeeping deserves more tips.

For this reason, I probably wouldn’t stay again.

Beautiful motel in a fantastic area. Amenities and communal areas were incredibly clean and nice.

You spend the day at the beach and want to go back to the hotel to relax but there’s nothing to do as it closes so early.

For the price & the fact that you can’t enjoy the hotel in the evening, I wouldn’t stay again.

Exquisitely designed rooms in a beautiful minimalist Scandi style. The motel is steps from the beach and all local restaurants and shops. I loved staying here and would return, but I think the owners could have been more present in establishing a service standard for their new business. Not all staff were familiar with the advertised offerings, so further training is warranted. I would also like to see the fire pits & lounge areas open after 9pm, especially in the summer months when people come home late from the beach & dinner and just want to socialize for a bit in a place other than their own room, especially when paying the price to stay here. All of that said, the place is still beautiful!

The Beach Motel is just steps to Southampton public beach. It has smaller but perfect rooms. Great attention to detail in both design and function. Modern and beachy. Very, very clean! Felt like sleeping in my own bed. White bright linens. Immaculate room and bathroom with shower. Great continental breakfast. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Well thought out reno at a fabulous location. Steps to everything in main part of Southampton. Highly recommend and we'll be back.

It's taken me far too long to write a review for this amazing property! The renovations done were clearly thorough and high-quality with every part of the property making you happy to be there. Immaculate cleanliness is a big plus.

Plenty of thoughtful touches such as waterproof bracelet keys, comfy bathrobes, and a well assembled continental breakfast in the morning. Staff are the best part of this property, though, being pleasant to talk to and extremely proactive from check-in to check-out. Cherry on top is the convenient location right on Southampton beach, with walking access to restaurants, as well as Port Elgin and Sauble Beach if you wish to go a little further.

All in all, we had an absolute staying here while exploring the Bruce County & Peninsula in winter, and will undoubtedly be back when the weather is warmer!

Loved the adorable rooms and fun attention to detail! Breakfast is fantastic and includes local coffee and bread. They also recycle & compost. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean. There's a rooftop patio and only a few minute walk to the beach.

I had been waiting patiently for the Beach Motel to open and jumped at the chance to spend some time pampering myself (which I most certainly did). I initially reserved 3 nights but just couldn't bring myself to leave so I stayed an extra night in my King Corner Suite, which was lovely. The bed was absolutely decadent. There is a fireplace and it being May, there were some gusty north winds so I could hear the waves and smell the water all tucked up in my little piece of heaven. Jaris and the rest of the staff were absolutely wonderful. They were friendly, professional and went out of their way to may my stay fabulous. The continental breakfast was excellent with special touches of home made jams, fresh fruits, crusty bread from the local bakery and many others to choose from. I brought my breakfast back to my room and jumped right back into that bed. The only thing about my room that I didn't like was the soaker tub. It was too big and difficult to get in and out of so I will not be staying in that particular room the next time, but I have already scoped out a lovely room on the upper level with the same view, but this has a walk in shower. I can't wait to return to the Beach Motel, and have a few more of Jaris' margaritas. If you are looking for a lovely and unique place to stay, try this little gem. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

I have no words but PHENOMENAL! I came here for a friends Bachelorette. From the start when I was in touch with Sue, Sarah, & Gerry, they were going above and beyond. Their service is so genuine and it made me fall in love with this place even more. The rooms and entire facility is so beautiful, and the massages, wow! The food is like a Michelin restaurant - farm to table. So fresh and yummy and tasty. I want to come back here again. I’ve stayed at the June motel and have to say, the beach motel is way better! No one can beat quality face to face genuine customer service!

First time staying at the beach motel. We arrived before 1pm and we were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready before the check in time of 4pm. The manager, Jaris, who checked us in is very friendly and did a good job explaining everything. Upon arrival we were given cool wet towels to clean our hands and a small cup of ice tea to refresh us from our travels.

The room is clean, cozy and spacious with two comfy Queen beds and plenty of pillows. We were in room 8. Love the modern decor and the little attention to detail. Hooks on the walls, cubbies under the bed for shoes and storage, a safe for valuables, glass cups, bottled water chilling in the mini fridge, plush robes and slippers, heated bathroom floors, and Nespresso machine, hanging egg-shaped swing chairs outside the room are a few of the thoughtful touches provided.

The stand up shower has a large shower head in addition to a hand held. Water pressure is good and nice and hot. Bath towels are soft and luxurious.

The Lounge (restaurant)
A small room with 3 tables and a sitting area. The tables function as indoor dining space for breakfast lunch and dinner. The rooftop patio (The Sandbar) is the outdoor seating space. If you want to order food, reservations are needed. If you just want a drink no reservations are required as long as there is an empty table available.

After checking in, we made reservations for lunch at 2: 15pm as that was the only availability they had left. Serving staff Eliza is super friendly. She was the only server dealing with all the tables that were occupied on the patio and our table as we were seating inside. We weren’t in any rush so we didn’t mind waiting. Eventually a couple of other staff came to help her out.

We ordered:

The hummus: roasted beet, tarragon paired with fresh made sour dough bread. The bread comes in a cute canvas bag to keep it warm and is unique way to plate the dish. It is very flavourful, soft and delicious. The hummus is a bright, vibrant fuchsia colour and tastes AMAZING. Would highly recommend this dish.

The Colossal Shrimp: comes with 3 large shrimp, black lentils, squid ink sauce and horseradish cocktail sauce. Good appetizer, bit on the pricier side for the portion but very tasty. Wish there was slightly more cocktail sauce though.

The lobster cannoli: comes with 3 cannoli on a bed of fresh arugula. The lobster meat is mixed in the mascarpone filling so there is not much lobster flavour or meat. The dill flavour overpowers the rest of the ingredients.

We enjoyed the evening on the outdoor patio. The gas fire pits and blankets makes it feel cozy in the cool night air. P

A continental breakfast is included with our stay. You can help yourself to croissants, strudel, fresh fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, and tea.

Sarah was wonderful during the check out process. Honestly all the staff here are amazing. Really happy with our weekend getaway. Looking forward to coming again.

We stayed over Easter weekend in the Queen Corner bedroom with our two little ones. The staff were incredible. We were greeted with warm towels and fresh made iced tea
upon arrival. Our suite was fantastic. Fresh milk and cream in the fridge and always refreshed for the Nespresso machine. The room was spacious and well appointed. We had a nightly turn down service as well as tablets in the room to communicate to the hotel staff. Breakfast is continental and included. The fresh crossiants were great. Highly recommend staying here. It will definitely be the it spot for Southampton!

From start to finish our stay was wonderful. From our warm welcome coupled with the delicious iced tea and cold towels on arrival, to the beautifully-appointed, inviting and stylish suite, to the immense relaxation and recuperation at the Spa, to the wonderful, fresh, farm to table dinner paired with gorgeous cocktails and local wine, to the next morning’s delectable continental breakfast. We will definitely be recommending this getaway to our friends and family!

Myself, and three close friends booked the Beach Motel for a little reunion a few weeks ago, and boy, it was worth every penny. Although, the weather didn't cooperate as we had hoped, we still managed to have such an amazing time, largely thanks to the staff, ambience, FOOD, cocktails and amenities of the Beach Motel.

Upon check-in, we were greeted with a welcome tea and warm towel, which was a lovely touch, especially after travelling a few hours from the city. Next, one of the motel staff politely provided us with a tour, showed us to our rooms and gave us some recommendations for the duration of our stay. Later, on our way out to dinner, we were greeted by the same staff for the nightly "turn-down" service, where our beds were prepared for sleep and given a separate facecloth for make-up removal. Such a nice touch.

Our rooms were beautifully kept and decorated in a beach-retro chic, Scandinavian style (for lack of a better adjective lol). Each piece of furniture or fixture on the wall was just so perfectly tailored to the vibe this little boutique motel was trying, and succeeding at creating. From the rooms, to the shared spaces, little unique and personalized touches were evident in every detail.

Food was delicious. The continental breakfast was delicious, I am still salivating over the freshly made pastries (Apparently, one of the owners is Danish, so they know their pastries). Later on in the day, we tested a few of the chef's appetizers to tide us over until dinner along with a few cocktails (presentation and taste 5 star).

All, in all, I can't tell you how lovely our time was there. We've already made plans to return next year. Hopefully the weather will cooperate next time, and we can utilize the beautiful beach, which is less than a block away.

Went for Mother's Day brunch and it was delicious. The renovations are lovely. The only issue I have with the restaurant is that it is not handicapped accessible. Very disappointing. I was able to make it to the restaurant with difficulty. But if you are not handicapped I recommend trying the food!

Loved this place and would return! Just stayed one night for a girls night. We received a welcome drink and cool cloth at check -in, then were escorted to our immaculate room. After getting an amazing massage and having dinner, we came back to the room and found it was "turned down" which included black cloths to remove makeup, blinds were closed, slippers put out and the bed turned down. The service here was amazing and the amenities of the room and motel more than fit the price. Location was very convenient for the beach and main strip, but on a quiet side street. My criticism would be that parking is limited and mainly relies on road parking which was limited at the end of May. Also the food at the restaurant was good, but I was not personally a fan of the small plates for the prices and would prefer a full entree for $24.

This place is AMAZING! Who would of thought you would find such delicious gourmet options in the small town of South Hampton! We enjoyed a fabulous evening of food and drinks, then took a stroll along the beach ️ This place is a must visit! Can't wait to go back!

Stayed two nights with my wife and it was absolutely amazing. The motel is gorgeous, the rooms are perfect, the staff are all helpful and extremely friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beach staycation!

The drinks, food and ambiance are fantastic. Love the location (proximity to the beach) and the outdoor patio area. The margarita is a must have!

If I could give more than 5 start I would! Such great decor, outdoor space and exception service and 1 block from the beach! Includes a little continental breakfast. I will definitely go back!

The Beach Motel was an incredible experience for my wife and I on our anniversary. Each and every staff member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and special (the best customer service by a team I have ever seen). Every amenity has been thought of and we will be returning in the future!

We were here for a bachelorette weekend and it was a great relaxing and fun environment. We loved sitting around the fire in the evening.

Awesome place to get together. Wife and I went for a meal and the ambience is top notch. At no point did we forget that we were in an establishment called "The Beach", every detail matched the moniker. Mateus was an excellent host and server and Chef Carey's plates were sublime! Excellent wine selection from a few of our notable Ontario vineyards (30 Bench, Malivoire, Trius, just to name a few). Jaris was excellent and accommodating and we were able to make a few friends in the lounge area, but that's what you get with the locals here in Southampton. Top drawer people, top drawer town. Thrilled to have a great motel in town, sure to draw in the crowds this summer
