I had the bar of 14k hoop earings replaced here. I asked for the original bar to be returned to me. They had misplaced it when I went to pick up the earings. They stated that they would look for it and call me. I followed up with them a week later. I asked that they deduct the approximate amount of the value of the bar from the total amount that I paid. They eventually responded to this request and provided me with a partial refund. Thanks for your help in fixing my hoop earings and resolving this issue.

Thank you so much for trying to rectify this situation. I have to update my review as the earing that was repaired fell out today. I wore them for the first time since the repair and I lost it in a public place. These earings were really special to me. They were the first fancy pair that I bought myself and were worth several hundred dollars. I was very sad to lose it. I am not sure if it is The Beaderys fault so I will still give you two stars. Thank you for trying with the repair and for addressing my concerns. Was hoping to support a small business, but didn't have much luck this time unfortunately.

The owner fixed the bar on my earring on the spot for $20. He even showed me the right way to open the earring so as to not damage again. Great service and value

This is a really interesting and unique shop with beautiful jewellery. Claude was so friendly and helpful and had amazing stories. My husband bought me a ring and I love it so much. We will return!

Awful, awful service. Disorganized, rude, and lazy attention paid to customers. I’m sure they’re not always like this, but I received poor, poor service here.

UPDATE: Wednesday, September 13: I moved back to the city and finally went back here to see if they had it. A long story made short: just make sure to communicate with the business and the business is communicating with you. All’s well.

I needed my watch battery replaced and came in for some help. Claude was super friendly and helpful, even showed me how he changed it (I tried prior and failed). Highly recommend!

Love this place! I’ve gotten multiple repairs done here recently, in particular one on a very delicate gold bracelet, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Not only did they flawlessly restore my piece that means so much to me, but their customer service was exceptional throughout the process! Highly recommend, I’ll be back for any jewelry needs in the future:)

This is the best place in Toronto for jewellery and beadedy… Five stars all around. Whenever I walk by and pop in, they will clean my gold cross with no questions asked. Great service love that its family owned.

Super helpful. They didn't carry one item I was looking for and suggested another store which did have it.

Claude created a custom ring for me out of a turquoise ring that had belonged to my father. The stone was broken and was crumbling around the sides, but Claude was somehow able to remove the stone from the old setting, rebuild the broken parts, and create a ring that was even more beautiful than the one I had imagined. I am beyond grateful to him for bringing new life to this very sentimental stone and for creating something I can someday give to my children.

This shop is so beautiful. I had the pleasure of talking with one of the jewellers (a gentleman) and a younger female associate. They were very kind, passionate, and knowledgeable showing me around the store and chatting with me. I came in to get my necklace fixed and they were able to do it right then in there. They even cleaned it for me! It was a very reasonable price and I would recommend this shop to anyone. The best part though was seeing the stunning jewelry they design and make in the shop. It ranged from your more traditional designs to unique and rustic pieces- again great prices and high quality materials. If you’re looking for a gift or an engagement ring, pop into this shop, talk to the people there and they will go above and beyond. Support local talent and artist - you won’t be disappointed and you’ll be able to find a forever piece that is distinct from these big box stores. Love this place! I came to look for a thin chain for my pendant (had too small hole, none of my chains fit) and I was able to get a beautiful shiny one custom size, and custom clip!
All under 15 minutes!

This store has the best beads in town, customer service like no other, made a special order for my Lapis bracelet and it looks great! Highly recommended.

Fantastic service!

I came into this store to repair a busted chain I had. After consulting, I became aware that that my chain had actually taken considerate damage, and was told to fill out a small form.

With all honest thoughts, I assumed this meant it would take some time to fix, and Id have to find some other day to pick it up once they’re done fixing it

Long-story-short, The Beadery actually ended up repair my chain there right on the spot. This was a very genuine and positive gesture given the fact that The Beadry doesn’t normally fix chains “on the spot! ”

Good music vibe and aesthetic too!
