Good staff, knowledgeable and friendly. You can also order product if it's not in the store, for pickup.
They also offer delivery.

Had over 60 DVDs that I took here to get looked at to see if they wanted to buy them. In the end they only bought 5 wich I'm not mad about. I'm more disappointed in the fact they put my dvds back upside-down in the cases and some of them have been scratched now because of inproper disc handling is a little wild to me. I understand you may be on a time constraint but at least properly put the dvds back in the case.

Went there today and loved the place overall in general and got some pretty cool CD’s while there, though my only complaint is the smell of cigarette smoke inside the place but overall 10/10

Prices are great. Great selection. If they don't have it they will get it for you. Staff are friendly and listening to the quality music as you browse and shop is tops.

A short slime green haired person that looks almost like they were born in a hot topic helped me the other day. Gotta say, quality customer service and a seemingly very nice person. If the management is smart enough to hire this person then I certainly trust them with not only a good customer experience but all my record, CD, and vinyl needs. Easily 10/10.

The only issue I've had has been that I left an order there for much too long and it got sent to head office.but that's not on them at all, completly on me. I didnt read over what I signed saying they could do that and totally forgot about my hold. Was super easy to get from head office though so not really an inconvenience.

This would really be no stars, since I had a horrible experience SELLING here. (I notice that my experience is almost exactly the same as the next review, so this is an ongoing scam). This company has very unethical business practices, and they have their employees blindly repeat slogans to avoid dealing with the ethical problems. This is the worst experience I have ever had in selling used CDs and records (and I have sold many in many years to other ethical businesses). (Positive reviews here are about buying from this business, which would of course be the case because the company is taking money in that case too).

I only lost 4 CDs and what they promised would be $4, which made it pointless to pursue. I will never have anything to do with them again. What happened was I submitted 4 CDs to see if they wanted to purchase them. The individual Kitchener store phoned to say that they would like to buy them for $4 but that that was too little to send me by etransfer, so they would give me store credit in Kitchener instead. I went to the store for the credit and they said I would need to speak to head office. It was a complete runaround and not worth it for $4. So although I lost very little, what was clear was the lack of ethics both in the main office and (enforced) in the local store, with the local manager not caring at all about what I was asking about. I will never enter a Beat Goes On again. I do buy a lot of music, so i suppose it was not worth their while to alienate me over $4, but I have the feeling that perhaps they are about to go under and are trying to clamp onto anything they can get.

Always great in here, neat and tidy, only ever had one CD not match its case. Perfect otherwise!

I have no complaint about the staff, as they did a good job considering. This review is more about the company and their policies. I took an older game system that was given to me by my father who has since passed away. I left it right before the shutdown and was told I would not need any receipt or anything else oh, and that they would call me and let me know the value. Apparently they did call, but I switched phones services in the interim and so I never got the voicemail. When I did finally call they said they still had the unit in store. I accepted store credit for the machine, and was told that when I came in I could pick up the ticket. I was not, however, told that I had to pick up the ticket in any given amount of time. So a few weeks later when I went into the store, there's no machine and no ticket. I was told to contact the home office, and the only way to do that is by email, and I have done that and haven't heard back at all. I realize the shutdown is a difficult situation and probably caused a lot of confusion, but to be honest leaving one voice mail and never checking again especially considering the circumstances seems odd. And I cannot think of a single reason why you would not keep credit tickets in the store and at least try to call if someone doesn't pick them up in case of a miscommunication like this one.

The online inventory and ordering process is great. My wishlist often turns up recordings I would not otherwise find. Love the store!

Great selection of movies and music. Very nice staff members. Bought some CDs that I have wore out over the years. CDs still sound better than digital media IMO.

Pretty good to deal with, have asked for dvd and cd and they will call months down the road when they get your request in.

Excellent staff, selection, prices and store. Best place that I know of to shop for various entertainment media. I hope that the chain never even struggles. I have purchased cds there that were much cheaper than the digital downloads. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The employees are so nice here. You get good prices. The stick is all ways changing and getting more in stock.

Do not recommend buying ps2 games from here. Games have been resurfaced so much that is deleting the data so when you are playing the game you will find its very laggy other than that it's a good place to find Blu-rays and DVDs

They were very kind in helping me find what I was looking for. A great store and the prices are great as well.

Stop in here once a week or so and turnover on new product is extremely slow. Prices are mostly decent and selection is ok for items other than movies and cds

I've been a fan of these guys for quite awhile it's great place to buy used physical copies of great albums or dvd's. For that hard to find rare disc or if you wanna make a few bucks selling your old disc this is the place. They also buy and sell ps4 and Xbox games.

I've always loved TBGO, when they were on Highland Road in Kitchener they were very accommodating and the staff were extremely friendly. However, during a recent trip to their Fairview location the employee serving me was extremely rude and unprofessional. After buying 12 movies to get one free, I had been unable to get my 13th movie due to their new location but managed to make a trip this past weekend only to be told that they no longer accept the stamp cards. I was not notified about this because after spending well over $100 to get a free movie, I obviously want it. Aside from not accepting the stamp card, the employee was all around rude. It is unlikely that I will return.

Great place to get CDs and movies. Staff can sometimes be a bit mediocre. Not friendly or particularly knowledgeable.

The best selection of new and used music in the region. I also saw new and used movies, games, and other music paraphernalia. I couldn't tell if the miserable staff was part of the "alternative music scene" atmosphere or if they were just grumpy but the product selection and prices are enough for me to return.
