They had some hard to find titles that I bought online and got shipped for free to my local store. They were great and so were the prices and service.

Find the pricing high at all Beat Goes On locations especially on new vinyl.

Staff are nice and helpful tho so that's great.

Tons of new stuff to choose from as well as a bunch of second hand records if you're looking for something a little cheaper and don't have anything specific you want.

Was looking forward to checking this store out. Unfortunately they still require you to wear a mask in 2023 before entering this location. So thank you for reminding me of why I shop for these kinds of things online.

I've had slightly negative and very positive interactions here, but my most recent visit was great. The gentleman who assisted me, was friendly and quickly went through my DVDs.

We were downsizing and decided to see if there was any value in the few vinyls that we had. There was some so that was good.

Perfect location with a very convenient and open layout. Very personable and friendly staff. Dangerous set up if you are into anime as it's right by the register. My original purchase tripled in price and i didnt even get to use my gift card out but I'll definitely be back.

I'd like to thank the employees (namely Stephanie) for being so friendly, helpful, and personable. The other day, I purchased 5 records, but one of them was faulty (though, the store was not to blame for that; it was an issue caused by poor manufacturing). When I called The Beat Goes On to inform them, Stephanie wasted no time in getting me a replacement record with no additional charges!

I found the employees helpful and very friendly. I recommend going there if you want to sell DVD's etc.

Today I witnessed the staff here being verbally abused by a customer. They remained courteous and professional throughout the entire ordeal. Five stars for being awesome!

Used vinyl pricing falls victim to the classic "match Discogs" pricing but even includes what shipping would cost in a lot of cases. Where's my incentive to get off the couch when I can order the same record at the click of a button?

Edit: Should include that many times I've noticed that prices do not reflect Discogs median, but what current selling prices are. TBGO does many things well, including sourcing and shipping between stores. I just find its not worth buying used vinyl there.

Great but you can't use cash. But a bank can give you cash but they don't take it. Cash is king.
I hope that all employees never have to touch dirty cash ever again.

The Beat Goes On is great. I always walk out of there with something, movie, CD or Record. During covid this location only allows 4 people in at a time. Great selection.

Small, homey. Just treat the staff right. Would enjoy a bigger lp collection if possible, but I understand it's still a niche market. Friendly, helpful staff.

First off, I originally wanted to go to their Hamilton location since that is where I live, but my god I never set foot in Hamilton location but their customer service is FLAT OUT RUDE (I called in to inquire about something)

This Burlington location was on my route home which was very convenient!

Take all your stuff, and they are not accepting anymore items. Waste of time for me. Donated to the salvation army thrift store instead.

A great place to find cds and dvd/blurays since mainstream stores are cutting back on selling them.

Great store, great selection of movies. I came from quite a way out of town and didn't regret it! I can't speak to anything else because I was only searching for movies. Everything on the shelves is in alphabetical order. This should be a no brainier, but unfortunately many other movie places I've been to, staff couldn't really care less. Not so with The Beat Goes On though! Great place! I will return!

Good selection and variety. Haven't been there for quite some time and pleased to see they've expanded their vinyl and video gaming sections. A shame they did away with the club cards though. Love the friendly service though.

The staff is always welcoming and very helpful. If you are looking for something specific, they will do their best to try and find it. They try to keep their prices affordable.

This is a really good place to get new records, used movies and videogames! Totally reccomend to anyone starting a record collection, and video game enthusiasts

Love this place. Great selection of everything. Used but in great condition. Why pay full price for cd's, movies or games? The best part is you can sell it back when you are done.

Went in for music. Very good selection of used CDs. Best around. But beginning to get a bit pricey. The service was polite and helpful.

Great for picking up previously ised CDs which you cant find now days. They are always checked so no skipping. Great prices. Great helpful staff that will sourve and find anything for you.

"The Beat Goes On" chain is, in my opinion, the best and only place to buy CDs. The franchise is very well represented by the staff I have dealt with for the past six years. I share the assessment of the other reviewers that the staff are polite, pleasant and knowledgeable. It is a positive shopping experience EVERY time I go to the store.

The staff at your Burlington store are absolutely the best! I am a regular customer, and keep coming back for more because they always ensure my needs are met, in a pleasant and efficient way. They even remember my name, a little extra touch that goes a long way.
