They admittedly could only take so much of my stuff, which considering how much I went in with wasn't surprising but I did get a really good price for it.
They even had a service to wipe my Xbox series x for me since I hadn't had a chance to do it yet.
When there was a problem with the e-transfer they were right on top of it and it was corrected immediately.
Staff was so friendly.
I would go back to them in a second and 10/10 definitely recommend them to anybody

Was a bit disappointed. Out of over a hundred DVD's & CD'S.they only picked 10.pd $10.50 Felt like a waste of time.

Always super helpful staff. Really reasonable pricing and employees go above and beyond to help you find what youre looking for. I highly reccomend this location!

Literally every time I've been in this location they've been playing something really weird fairly loudly on the sound system. I'd like to spend more time browsing here (and you really need the time because this one is poorly organized compared to the other locations) but the atmosphere is unwelcoming.

Great store for new records, and used digital media, but you really need to dig to find descent artists in their used records.

Awesome for used DVD's and Blue Ray movies. Most of the DVD's and Blue Ray's reasonably priced.

Great place to get some movies at a low price and recently they have gotten into selling collectables the only thing that I would say is off is the pricing of alot of their games

I don't even want to know what I've spent at the Beat Goes On over the last 25 years or so. The best place to go to browse physical entertainment media and the website (and its Wish List feature, in particular) is awesome.

I love the Beat Goes On in Cambridge, it's my go to when I'm in town. The staff is the reason I go to said location, they treat me like a friend not a customer. They always have what I'm looking for and in the rare time they don't, they'll order it for me. Oh and I always walk out with more then I intended since they started expanding their products. (Batman stuff particularly).

Super friendly folks. They purchased some of my late father's CDs and DVDs. They were honest about pricing and fair about what they took and could not take.

Great selection, but there was this weird guy in a leather jacket hovering around me and my gf. Gave us the creeps.

Pretty sure he was a staff member, didn't ask us what we were looking for just followed us around.

I just got back in to Vinyl after getting rid of the all (WHY?) I can spend an hour in this place, all the classics, Stones, who. Zepp, even some old stuff for the folks!

I'm old school and I love Cd's and I love liner notes. They have an amazing selection of 2nd hand music and I usually find what I'm looking for. The staff is very helpful if you are looking for something similar to a band you like.

Great selection of used and new records, and a fantastic way to upcycle your material and keep it spinning on a turntable rather than sitting in a landfill. Prices are competitive and the emo/grumpy record store attitudes are free! Just kidding, the staff are friendly enough.

Just had my first experience at The Beat Goes On.and it was great! As soon as I walked in I had a great feeling about this place. I found the movie I wanted which I've been looking all over for and found it for $6 used.but it looks brand new to me. A store in the Cambridge Mall didn't have it but said they could order it for me for $45 plus tax! Great staff to boot. They are definitely now my go to store! Top shelf this place

My place to find Tv shows season. Cds hard to find. A small gold mine to see and visit. $$$ always the best to buy items.

Always interesting finds. Haven't been in a while but everytime I was there it was fun. I wonder if they still do the stamp cards.

Every time I try to sell my movies here they’re always trying to give me a quarter for my stuff. Especially when they are in really good condition. I take care of my stuff and it sucks when I decide to let them go after spending good money on them they only offer a quarter a movie. Definitely am not coming back to sell my stuff

Well we went there to sell some CDs and such for cash and they only wanted to give a store credit even though normally they would handle cash I guess they I just bought too much that day so I guess make sure they call first if you're going to make some money by selling your old DVDs

Would rate higher, but their online "wishlist" system is an absolute joke. Set to send you an email at 4am in the morning. Don't expect to ever get anything you add to your wishlist.

If you have time to search the store you are likely to find something you may have forgotten you wanted.

Everything is sorted pretty good, and the workers are nice. I really only go here for the games, which they don't have much of, and its a bit small.

I really like buy both used and new CDs/DVDs from here, I have never had any issues with the quality. The variety is good and their online store is really helpful.
