Not bad! Prices were decent.menu had good selection and was pretty extensive.our server was nice.food was okay, fruit was not ripe/fresh.home fries were a bit dry. My partner did enjoy their chocolate chip banana pancakes though! Not bad if you’re looking for quick diner food

Our favourite go to place for delicious food and great service. And sometimes our server provides some humorous entertainment

Foods very good. I had the liver and onions and let me just say liver not something a lot of people can cook, it was delicious, two big pieces, home made mashed potatoes and vegetables. Also try the home made perogies.

We have been here a handful of times and every server we have had is the best! We most recently had the joy of having Cheryl as our server and, despite being busy, she was perfectly attentive (but not too) and so much fun.: D The food was really good as usual and we had a great time. Thanks Bedrock!

After the fire this place is not the same, very disappointing food and service, I miss the old staff and cooks (no idea who remained after they were shut down for so long but it's definitely had a major impact on food quality and service)

Update: July 5th
Another good experience here. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the food tasted great and was not greasy. The price is still reasonable as you do get big portions. One thing on this visit was that the scrambled eggs I normaly get are usually quite fluffy, this time it was like a thin sheet of egg that was cooked then sliced up. It's tasted fine it was just a bit strange.

I have been going here for over 30 years
I went here on July 13th for my birthday. It wasn't busy at all they forgot about 2 of my guests and they never got any food
Mine tasted like the nasty grill cleaner. My son's smelled like the musty rag they clean with.
Eggs and french toast were disgusting.
Unfortunately we won't be going back this is the 4th time I have received bad food and no rectification for the issues either.
This new owner doesn't seem to give to s*** about his long term customers or food quality or cleanliness.
Cost also went up $5 and yet the plates and portions are half the size.
So sad. This was a great Hamilton staple that isn't the same.

After seeing these reviews, I am convinced people are fake or have never been to a restaurant in their lives! I have been going here for years, but not in a while. I swear to god it was like a circus side show in there! Place is filthy with bent and dirty cutlery. The gravy was luke warm with lumps in it. French fries were stuck together. The burger was burnt. They give you packets of mayo, mustard and relish but only one of each. You get a single napkin that is so thin its transparent. My god people! Has the covid lockdown made you forget what a restaurant is supposed to be. Its now 24 hours later and my stomach is still bloated and I cant eat. Just a mess and a shell of what it used to be!

Me and my wife went there for brunch.

Wife ordered egg florentine and I ordered their popular smoky mountain pasta with garlic bread.

I can comfortably say had one of the best alfredo pasta ever.period.

Will visit again for sure.

The Fish and Chips looks very good, it comes with coleslaw and tartare sauce. The taste of coleslaw is good, but the cup is too small for me. I like the crispy chips very much, but the fish is too greasy; perhaps the oil temperature is not high enough, so some oil kept in the surface of batter. That would be much better if it comes with a lemon wedge.

There Food used to be so good! One of the most consistent places to go for breakfast, I’m not sure what has happened but they have been completely cutting portions aswell as raised prices. And the food quality has dropped significantly! Will not be going back unfortunately as I used to go here as a young child with my family, NOT WORTH YOUR BUCK**

Food was not good, eggs over cooked, not fried like it is cooked on water. Waffle over cooked and home fries out of the box. Will not return

I have to say, I was very disappointed with the service I received at this restaurant. They took me to my table, and before I even had a chance to sit down, they wanted to know what I wanted to drink. I asked for a minute. Then, when I ordered my meal, I proceeded to let them know that I wanted a glass of milk. I was almost finished my meal before the milk arrived. I told them I did not want the milk because I was done my meal. The milk had been sitting in the kitchen the whole time and was warm. I got charged for the milk and I told them I wasn’t paying for the milk because I did not drink and that it was warm. I asked to have it removed from the bill. The server was not very polite. She removed it from the bill but then I was over charged 5.95 for a glass of orange juice that my sister had. I feel I was charged double for the juice to cover the cost of the milk. I would never eat here again. The atmosphere appeared to be run down and not that clean.

Servers look miserable.service is very slow.we got our seat and sat for about 10 minutes before any one came to us.our food got dropped off and server just walked away. We needed ketchup and my husband thought he had the wrong meal.it’s only my third or fourth time here and it’s always the same.

Me and my fiancé going here for months straight now but the last few times we’ve had delivery orders there has been an issue and complete attitude from staff and told we’re pretty much wrong about our order being super salty for a $20 chicken parm sandwich and pickle fries absolutely uneatable and nasty, called to see if we could get a refund in store next time we dine in and I was hung up on then I called back and was told rudely the “Boss” if that’s what they call themselves said we were lying! And had no complaints about it we were willing to bring it in but was told we’d still get no refund ignorantly, unfortunately we WILL never be going here again, such a shame for a nice restaurant to have such bad staff and ownership, we’ve attended this place for years but recently got into the groove of it again the last few months and haven’t had issues prior years.

Wife and I were regulars for years. Last few visits have been very disappointing. Today we received our food but waited 10 mins for our cutlery. Bathrooms were disgustingly dirty and staff unfriendly as well. Sorry Bedrock but we won't be back

Eggs and meat were ok, potatoes were bland. I cannot believe it's $6 for a glass of orange juice. I spent $18 on 3 glasses of OJ. That's just disgusting. I could've bought a case of OJ for that much! Way over priced for a breakfast meal.

I hate leaving poor reviews at restaurants but this was honestly terrible.our server gave us our drinks and we didnt see her again for like 20 minutes.because of this people who were seated after us were getting their entrées before we got our appetizers.i work at a restaurant and i completely get being busy and stressed out but taking myself and my families order took 30 seconds at most.when we finally did get our food, it wasnt at all as good as i thought it would be.i had one of the chicken pastas and it was literally cold.the sauce was pretty much like water, it wasnt thick enough.once we had asked for our bill we had to wait probably over 10 minutes.i dont think ill come back here again

This used to be the best place.not anymore.
Not only did my family not eat most of our breakfast but the prices are a joke. 8.99 for your all day breakfast and 6$ for a orange juice! And when the cash out lady asked about our meal and I went to explain to her the issue she picked up the phone and ignored me.wouldn't even look at me. Awful customer service to end a bad meal.

Have been going there for 30+ years and have had awesome food with awesome service.has been going downhill the last few times but today was the last straw.definitely will not be going back or recommending it all.first of all the waitress was less than friendly and the service was beyond poor.first she brought coffee, no cream, no sugar, didn't even ask if we wanted them.brought breakfast, no cutlery.had to get our own.on my plate of food the little plastic container of jam had dried yolk on it.wasn't from my eggs, totally disgusting.will not be going back there or recommending at all
