Shoutout to our awesome server Glen! We let him surprise us with how he set up our beer flights and he crushed it. Also the miso eggplant app is super crispy and tasty.

A friend and I went for a couples of drinks it was a very nice place, the staff was very nice too.
We didn’t try the food but it looked delicious I hope I can go back to try the food

The ambience is pretty. We had ordered some loaded nachos, a pizza and beer. Their service was great.

Came for an impromptu late lunch with some friends on a Saturday, and there were plenty of tables available. Ordered the miso glazed crispy eggplant - portion was bigger than I expected for the price. Flavours were good but the eggplant was a little soggy. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff!

Popped in here whilst visiting the Xmas market. Despite the restaurant not being that busy, the service was really slow, sat for 15 to 20 mins before a server came to take our drinks order. Guy bringing out the food looked lost, didn't know what table ordered the food. Food was OK.

On July 6th, 2023 Havas CX, Media and Health enjoyed our first ever all agency party at Mill Street Brewpub and we were impressed! The venue, food, beverages, staff and service were fantastic! Our last minute requests were accommodated and such a great level of professionalism was shown by Shastine, Marley and Colm. Thank you for making our Summer Party a success!

We ordered chicken wings, seared salmon, pizza and fish & chips, all four of them were very disappointed, the service is great though.

I've been at the Mill St. Brew Pub in Ottawa, but this was my first time at the one in Toronto. I was with some family who were suitably impressed. Between a large patio in the back, a small one in the front, and a decent size area inside, there's plenty of space, in the good weather, at least.
A good variety of pub grub, with a wonderful selection of Mill St.beers, and also several other craft brewery tasters.
The staff were accommodating and efficient.
Prices are as expected for this type of venue.
This is sort of the centre-piece of the Distillery District, so when you're here, walk around and take in the sights and smells of the area's other eating places and boutiques.

Poor service and poor quality food.
Cauliflower starter was underwhelming as the cauliflower was nearly raw.
The vegetarian burger lacked moisture from a hard bun and dry pattie.
The two stars are for the beer.

Speed of food is quick on the table that is the only good part out of the whole lunch. Waitress service was below average. Fries was very soggy and soaked in oil. Other staff are friendly and helpful.

Whilst on a trip to Toronto, we visited the Mill St Brewery. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and were served very quickly. The staff were very attentive, especially James behind the bar and the poutine was delicious. We’d definitely go back if we ever returned to Toronto.

Chicken sausage pot pie was missing the chicken and sausage. Just a gravy with lots of peas and bits of chicken
Dh had two very tiny fish tacos with about an ounce of fish

Food was fine but the service was truly unacceptable. The entire staff was overwhelmed (and arguing with each other, including managers), multiple tables (including ours) had to get up to find silverware, flag down a server, get water, etc, our waiter forget multiple orders…it was a train wreck. And the managers were part of the problem which made it worse. Honestly would be 3-4 stars with even decent service but it was so bad it needs to be shared. Stay away.

Perfectly average beer. Watch out for the pumpkin IPA:). We didn’t have food, looks pretty good. Friendly service.

$20=single layer of VEGGIE nachos in a comically small sheet pan, I had to hold in a laugh when it arrived at the table. How much could a couple extra handfuls of chips cost? Cheap, corny, a pub that can’t get a decent plate of nachos right is just sad. Got a check-in from our server 1 time, no refill, and had to get out of my seat to go find them so i could pay. They are so blatantly taking advantage of the foot traffic & tourism of the distillery district but it’s still shocking that a place this big wouldn’t be able to provide even just some semi-decent food & service.

Food was ok, soggy fries, my husband had the curry and has had much better at other pubs. Service was inattentive even though it wasn't busy and lots of staff. Our server was more interested in flirting with another staff member. The washroom was sour-smelling, layer of caked on grime on surfaces and no soap in the dispenser. You'd think that having gone through covid they'd pay more attention to at least the handsoap situation.

Very beautiful and inviting place. Service is very good and average price, beer is very good and food is tasty. Gave 4 stars because my Pub Hamburger wasn't fresh, the patty was dry, my wife asked a guacamole and was also not fresh and we had to ask another lemon slice because our was dry and not squeezable. I already got colder beers also. It still worth due to the place but from my experience there is room to improve.

Lousy service, limited menu, food is overpriced and very average quality.after server gave me my food (with NO napkins on the table for me), they never checked up on me at all during whole meal.i spilled food on my purse and had no napkins so that was pretty incovenient.not impressed and won't be back.

We were about to be seated when one of the bar tenders said something super impolite to us.

Was in a group asked for our bill so I could leave brought all the bill and was last to to pay as I was leaving a server pushed me from behind to get past me. The burger was meh but the fries were really good.

During the Distillery Winter Village, we were here on a Wednesday evening and it was really calm and quiet. Oz was amazing on the patio with his service. He went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of.
If you're looking for a quiet space on the weekday nights in the Distillery district make sure to go to Mill Street patio! Super service and patio heaters.

What a beautiful place! WAY TOO EXPENSIVE FOR FOOD. We stood in one spot to make sure my son didn't drop his fries because a small box of fries was wallet breaking. If you go, bring your own packed snacks and food.
We spent $100 on food alone and we didn't eat a lot. BRING YOUR OWN FOOD.
There wasn't too many people but maybe they may want to think about cutting the limit a bit as there are some tight squeeze popular spots that have people sholder to sholder.
There are wind tunnels so bring layers.
They do ask for your vaccinations and identification before entering.
There are washrooms.
If you do absolutely need to get food, go to the cafe inside by the washrooms. It's still a bit expensive but at least you get a decent size of food.

We went to Mill Street Brewpub in the Distillery district. It was good and the place is pleasant. Service is average they can improve. Food is average Pub food. It is not fabulous but easy to eat. The place is good to spend time with friends and prices are good.

The best place about this I think is the beer but don’t take that a diss of the food. It was good. I got the chicken chorizo pot pie, wife got the margarita pizza and friend got a vegan burger. Everyone liked what they got. I got a raspberry & blood orange sour.

My girlfriend ordered the cheddar chicken sandwich, and there were chicken bones in the meat. The server apologized and changed her meal, however we were charged for the changes, and as far as we know, no supervisor/manager was informed.

This may have been a "one-off" experience, but never the less, it was not handled the way it should have been.

The atmosphere is decent. I would have a pint on their patio.

Orders were mixed up when brought. Waitress was overwhelmed and unable to attain correct order. Fries were cold and when I finally got my burger it had no cheese as i ordered and gravy for the fries didn't arrive until 15 mins after they brought to the table. Tho the staff were friendly I believe the communication is a serious issue. Management may be the issue, I do not see true leadership.

What if, I tell you that this hidden gem brewpub in Distillery District, Toronto, will give you all the vibes of a retro garage with a beautiful patio.

I got a chance to explore @millstreetbrew last week and, I have to say that this place is a must-visit for all those who love indulging in some delicious food and crafted beers. Get indulged in their ambience with a vintage rugged theme. They've got your back from ciders to cocktails.

Really good environment and excelent service. The food is great, and there are daily features from monday to friday for low price. There is a large selection of beer, including their best hazy and west coast IPAs. You may book a reservation up to 1 day in advance, not for same day, but still accept walk-ins. My kids love to get their "build your own taco" from the kids menu, which is lots of food too.

It was really fun to visit here as my partner and I live close by, the servers, hosts, and location are amazing but I was a little dissapointed by the food! The street corn was amazing but I ordered the BBQ sweet potato bowl and unfortunately the crispy sweet potato was quite mushy and the charred broccoli in the dish tasted like gas (not sure if it was tortched with a butane torch or on a grill). My partner ordered a gluten free pizza and the dough was wet and mushy near the centre of the pizza although the toppings were very flavourful and fresh. The beer selection was great as you would expect and the house made root beer was awesome too.

Mill Street remains one of the greatest microbreweries in Canada. This brewpub offers a shop, lots of space inside and a wonderful terrasse. The beer selection is excellent. The food served here is also very good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. The only thing that should be improved is that this location should bring back paper menus instead of exclusively relying on cell phone technology.

Great spot located in the distillery district. Nice patio and a good menu offering a variety of bar eats. Make sure to try their nachos. It's a huge portion great for sharing!

Really bad experience. Came to this place to have a good time but just had the worst experience of my life.

This evening me and my boyfriend were at distillery district Miller’s brewery Restaurant and the server Nick was amazing to us, he was quick when we needed thing, when we ordered our drink we got ASP. He awesome. We always get the best service from him. He was very great when he talk to us, he was very nice to us. We be back next Thursday we are bringing our friends, me and my boyfriend are going there. We will only ever be in Nick’s section or we will not come. M and F

Food tasted good. It was crowded and abit noisy but we love the ambience. The service provided was extraordinary. We ordered a pizza. Which got delayed because of some technical issue, and then when they brought it, the base was burnt. However, when we complained of the pizza. The server apologized for not noticing that. They asked the head chef to make another pizza and they didn't even add it in our tab. Btw the way pizza was delicious.would def go back

We sat outside on their patio, and they even allowed our dog to stay with us. Had a dog menu so our dog could order food, it was so cute. The food and drinks and service were phenomenal! I felt very safe especially during these uncertain times, and I would definitely go back.

Notre serveur était bilingue et hyper sympa. Notre nacho était délicieux. Nous n'avons pas attendu longtemps pour être servis. Chapeau!

Delicious wings, decent servers, good beer. Iconic brewery in Toronto, Mill St organic is great ladies light summer beer. Sour beer tasted like a light beer with lime juice squeezed into it, would not recommend. Atmosphere in restaurant is good, was busy for a Monday night. Came with a large group (~30 people), 18% gratuity was automatically included. Waiter was not helpful or concerned, just wanted to get orders in. Chicken wings (honey garlic sauce) were delicious, fish & chips were good, chuck burger (on special for $10 Monday nights) was a bit dry, fries were small and dry, beyond meat burger was 8/10.

It’s a decent brewery with delicious and smooth beers that don’t smell like yeast! The chicken burger is GREAT!

Negatives: the waiter added %18 tip to our bill before even asking us! We would have given the 18% but he shouldn’t add it by himself!

Food was delicious, especially loved the montreal smoked meat poutine, our server Charlie was also really great

Didn't like it, very normal environment. Simple tables, not much to offer in my opinion, the wine is deterior than the pricing

Beautiful place, great drinks, lovely staff. I had the pesto chicken club. Decent sandwich. Needed a stronger vinegar flavour/pickle on the peppers, a tomato chutney or something sweet, and more mayo.

Lager was good and so was French fries. I took Shirley Temple sweet and it was good. If you are a beer person then you could visit and taste the in-house built beer

Overall, Every thing was awesome!
There Lighting was perfect. I prefer to visit there in evening timing. I was the finest place, & moreover at top of my likely place I have ever been!

Staff are taking every precaution for covid19 situation, tables in patio are separated via tall standing glass, burger was very tasty, however the salad portion was fairly small comparable to others. Staff were attentive and friendly. Will visit again for sure

It was my a very nice experience. The taste of their beers is exceptional. Try their nano series. The seasonal one is very good too. Go by flights, if it is your first time there (nano series are 1.5 $ more expensive per sample). Their COVID measurements were un place.

I enjoyed this during covid because the patio is so large there is plenty of room that you’re not waiting to be seated or close to anyone.

Went there with a friend Tuesday afternoon and found a nice shady table. They handled the masks and social distancing well, though I wouldn't want to be there when its busy.

Great separation, I asked for some recommendations and the server asked the bartender for some good beer choices. I got to try some great new beers:) definitely recommended.

Thanks Mill Street for offering takeout during these difficult times. Still able to have pub night Friday! Food was awesome and the small batch gin was a great addition. Had wings, poutine, pretzel, schnitzel with spatzle, and kale cesar. Service was fantastic and fast. #supportlocal

The worst place in Toronto avoid at all cost. I have had not great experiences here in the past but I always come back hoping maybe the server or hostess was having a bad night. This time was next Level. The hostess took down the wrong phone number after an hour of waiting we asked what was taking so long they realized they took the wrong number and said it would be another 15 mins. Another hour later we asked what the issues was. Long story short the hostesses were bad mouthing my friend thinking we couldn’t over hear. When confronted they tried to apologize but used the excuse “you know girls we get upset and talk” no real apology. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere. Completely unacceptable

Great beer and the food was awesome! Had the nitro chai porter and it was delicious. We split a couple flat breads and it was an overall great meal at a reasonable price!

Food was good, but unfortunately would not come back. Food took an hour to arrive. When we asked why, we were told that the kitchen is slow because it never recovered from an earlier rush. We went on a Sunday, they seem to not know how to staff the kitchen for the weekends.

I was with the guys at inception, Steve, Jeff, Mike. I prefer the pub. Same beer, less attitude. Arrogant barkeep said "only cash", systems down, meanwhile peeps at tables had debit machines.
Flies and sticky plastic mats, clearly had not been cleaned properly, at the bar. It was an open concept, outdoor indoor thing, so flies were free to flow.
Steve is still around, and I'm sure he would be disgusted.

This place seems to be hit and miss. Our experience was a definite miss this evening. The atmosphere is somewhat chaotic because of the Christmas Market and it seems like the staff is finding it hard to cope. We hung our coats on the coat hooks right next to our table and within a few minutes two men were looking through our pockets hoping for a wallet or a phone. When it came time to order, our first three choices were unavailable. This seemed strange since I'm sure management is aware this time of the year is really busy. The staff who brought the food out seemed to be disoriented at times not knowing which table to go to.

I will be fair and say the food was good and we all enjoyed it.

Overall our visit fell well short of its potential.

Won’t be back. They screwed up our order we sent it back. A manager then took our order to another table and yes Were still sitting Here! With no food no drink refills! WONT BE BACK!

Waitress was great, but they really screwed us with the bill. We got a menu with the prices at half of what they actually charged us. Then we tried to find that menu and the manager said it didn't exist. The old bait and switch. If you see food for a really reasonable price, ie appitizers at 7$. Take a picture of it.

While the atmosphere was excellent, the food and drink was not worth the price. Ordering a beer flight where 3/4 were not available in the LCBO, my favourite was still just the widely available one. As well, I ordered the brisket for $19 and was given a small pile of barely warm beef with a dish of sauce that completely masked any flavour of the meat. The "daily pickle" was a slaw of carrots and turnips that tasted like they were pickled for about 5 minutes.

Even though the service was great, I would not come back here for dinner again.

Yes, pretty good. Often return. A great selection of beers both draft and bottle. Rotating guest beers always seem to be excellent. Food was really good and the daily specials never disappoint.

Terrible customer service. Made a holiday reservation for my company a couple weeks ago and wasn't told I'd have to stand in line for the Christmas Market. When I called for assistance, was told that they shouldn't have given me a reservation in the first place and that they cannot help any further. Lack of empathy makes it clear that this isn't a restaurant that cares about its customers — they know they are going to do well whether we show up or no. Big thumbs down.

The service was atrocious. We were asked to move seats after our did arrived to make room for a larger group. We moved to be accommodating but then they opened the doors and I frigid blast of air came through. After all that I kind of expected an apology or a credit to our bill for inconveniencing us but that did not happen. Instead, we waited for what seemed an eternity, for our bill.

We went during the Christmas Market and the place was packed! The staff handled the volume with professionalism and were very on point with wait times and managing customer experiences. Our food came out in a timely manner and arrived exactly the way it was ordered as we had guests that made a few modifications to their orders.

Food and atmosphere was a 10/10, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for some quality comfort food in the distillery district. Hats off to you at Mill St Brew Pub and you will be seeing us again!

The meal tastes great until I found a piece of plastic in the pie. Was wondering why I couldn't chew on that particular piece.
Seems like the pot pie contents are pre packaged hence why a piece of plastic may have fallen into the pot pie? No idea.
Salad was good at least, although I had asked for the sauce on the side but the sauce ended up in the salad.

While I understand that the Christmas season is busy, I think that this was the first time in the history of restaurants where I wasn't constantly pestered by a server asking me if everything was ok or if we needed anythinng else. Only one cutlery roll for the table, elk burger was overdone with cheap American cheese and the fries were cold, and no chances to flag down our server to attempt to rectify the situation. On top of that she shorted us on our change for the bill, and took off as if there was a fire in the room as soon as we paid. A terrible experience for what was a good establishment.

Beer is good but service is extremely slow. Party of six had two meals come out first and we're still waiting for over 30 minutes and counting for other meals to arrive. Ordered the brisket which was dry and bland. Wouldn't go back for anything but drinks.

Went during the Christmas Market at 6pm on a Wednesday- Were told it would be an hour wait to be seated and it was. Very good customer service and great beer but the FOOD wasn't good. Go for a beer but not food. We tried the BBQ Chicken Flatbread (wasn't fully cooked and didn't taste great with toppings) and others at the table weren't happy with cold meals.

Awesome ambiance for Beer, along with great finger food options. The staff is very responsive and friendly even at busy hours. And there is something about Dist. District that adds additional value to the evening. Good for couple and families.

My cousin and I went to Mill St. Brew Pub a week ago during the Christmas Market and it fell flat. Took forever for my food and my cousin's food to get here and all because the kitchen staff couldn't get it together. It was lukewarm and the toast became stale and uneatable. Only five cheese curds on the poutine? PLEASE! The waitress was very apologetic and doing her job and check to make sure our drinks were filled which was a bright side to this dismal affair!

If I could give zero stars I would. We waited 30 minutes for a table and then we were seated near the kitchen where were able to see kitchen staff working and the servers taking the food to serve to customers. Our waitress was quite rude and didn't seem interested in serving us. We witnessed a server take fries from one plate and move them to another plate with their BARE HANDS! This happened at least five times. It got to the point where I needed to turn around because of how disgusted I was. I also got up and asked another server to speak to the manager. This server was very nice and seemed concerned. Once I explained what I saw to the manager she explained that this was her "job to do". I explained my concern and the fact that it was unsanitary because she was touching food and then customers money/ credit card machine. The manager basically did nothing. After our waitress saw that I got up to speak to the manager her entire attitude changed towards us (she thought I spoke to the manager about her treatment towards us). On top of this disgustingness our food was served and hour and a half later and when our food came the plates were a mess. Fish and chips were over cooked with soggy fries and the brisket was tasteless. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Has really gone down a few notches in quality over the past year. It’s much more typical pub food now. They used to have a great pickerel dish, whereas now they just have fish and chips (with no slaw or any greens to speak of). The batter was thick and not fully cooked through (near the fish). Their ‘wild mushroom’ flatbread pizza only had one kind of mushroom on it, which tasted more marinated than fresh, and the crust was rather tough. Terroni, Pizza Libretto, Queen Margeritta have nothing to worry about here.

Went here while visiting the Christmas market. The wait time was extremely long.when we finally got seated we were offered an appetizer menu only and i ordered the poutine that was the size of a cup for $9. My friend had the pizza that was an almost burned thin crust with bbq sauce cheese, and crumbs of what was suppose to be chicken. Our waitress had extemely diulated pupils and never made direct eye contact ones. The food, the ambience and wait staff all lacked substance. Its a no for me
