The Beer Store

The manager was really unfriendly and she scolded me while collecting empty bottles. I was ashamed and I am sure this was racism. Anyone else waiting behind her must have felt uncomfortable with her.

Went into the beer store to try the "Old Style Pilsner Beer", that was on sale for 2.05.
Brought my 4 cans up to the counter where of course the company has stopped giving bags or carrying cases so I had to carry my purchase without any means of assistance.
I was then Charged 9.50 for the cans.
Even though it was advertised at 2.05 per can. (8.25)
I couldn't be bothered to argue over the buc and change difference as there were no less than 10 people waiting in line behind me and only one person serving.
All I can say is that.
I'm going to be happy when ever I want to buy a couple of beers to go to a supermarket and hopefully down the road I do the same in an Avondale or Esso station.
False advertising is a crime buy the way!

I just had a really awful experience with a women who works at this location. Absolutely belittled me for not knowing certain products as I do not consume alcohol. Sold me something completely different than what I asked for. Really disappointed with the customer service.

Went there the other day and the lady behind the counter was very rude. So I swiped a beer can to even things out.

Very rude employee yells at me to put my mask on. I explained I am exempt but she yelled at me again that I need to schedule an appointment than.

Came in today to buy some Becks beer, which is what I get here 100% of the time I come in. Was told by the female working out front that there was none, and that the do not carry it. Went back home and looked on my phone and according to the website for this location, YOU DO carry it and it was in stock. Thank you for having incompetent staff that caused me to waste my time by deciding to go to this location. Bravo.

Yes I am older. Yes I have arthritis. Yes I do have problems with my lower back. Yes I ask for a carryout. I would love to be able to go in,
Grab a case of the beer without help. The other locations are obliging but I dont feel that here. I try to avoid this location.

The older cashier was so rude.why i don't know? I paid for my item and she rolled her eyes to me.

Why buy beer from (some) grumpy employees when you can go to a grocery store with much friendlier staff.

What the hell, They allowed a person in the bear store without a MASK.talk about irresponsible.put everyone's health at risk.

My first time at this store on July 30. I had a lot of returns and the cashier was very polite, efficient and helpful with the return process.

The customer service is terrible here. It's about time we get rid of The Beer Store and LCBO and privatize all alcohol sales!

Went to the beer store this afternoon and I was quite impressed with the layout in the parking lot and all the many managers from other stores that were there to assist with the large volume of returns since the pandemic had changed the lives of so many and returning empties had stopped mid March. I can honestly say that I never thought I would see anything like this but it certainly was well-prepared and thought out. Everywhere we go these days we have to line up, but to watch such teamwork outside in order to keep us safely, socially-distanced was really something! High five to all of the employees at the store and those who assisted from the other stores! Keep up the great work and keep safe!

Wow just asked for 6 large cans of beer, guy behind the counter was great. The guy mopping the floor says " This isn't the LCBO. " WTF. Against other stores selling beers, I go there and buy beer and an employee. Not even the one at the counter is rude about it. Really

Went to recycle, as it turned out, 4 of THE BEER STORE's available recycle bins. I had to make more than 1 trip in and out because there were only 3 carts available, but all used when I arrived. NO SANITIZER / WIPES or GLOVES were available to me (I did ask and was told "we don't have any") No place available to get rid of the plastic bags & boxes I brought my items in (some locations provide them). The recycle bins were all dirty (visible dirt, wetness & unpleasant smell).

Great store. Really quick to bring back empties with this layout. Great staff and the best beers are available to just pick up and pay

Any beer store that has my Kilkenny's is a five star for me. Honestly though great selection and friendly people.

Lots of beer and a wide selection to satisfy everybody. Open late and in a great location. Friendly staff!
