They all are curtious, professional and listen to your needs.
Would definetly recommend them for their services.

I have been coming here for years and will never go anywhere else for waxing! Kelly and Rahlee are both amazing!

Okay so worst place i have ever been my entire life. I had booked for eyebrow waxing and came back with burnt skin. The lady applied wax and did wax and any novicw would know that you should not apply wax again but she did. Anyway i took a picture of my burnt skin under eyebrow but dont see an option to upload.
For the love of your skin, and to save my self from.burn, will never visit this place again.

I recently used Brandy Alexander Beauty Bar for my wedding (for makeup) and it was truly a great experience!? In past experiences (using other makeup artists) I can honestly say I have never had my makeup done in way I actually liked it- but Kelly did it perfectly. She listens to exactly what you’re wanting, and does it amazingly. I would highly recommend her for makeup services without question. I only wish I lived closer to this company so I could use their other services on a regular basis! Thanks Kelly for a 10/10 experience?

Appalling service. I came for a simple wash and blow dry. I was placed with a young lady who obviously had never picked up a brush and dryer before. Trouble started when she attempted to wash my hair. It was painfully obvious she didn’t know what she was doing and the hair felt just dirty right after - despite me asking for more shampoo. At the end she sort of dumped a towel on my head that immediately fell off when I got up. Very odd. I asked her to tell me quickly if she was able to do a blowdry as I had notoriously difficult hair. We could stop before any damage was done. She lied and said yes. This was my mistake. I should have ended the treatment there. Instead I allowed her to blow dry my hair into a massive ball off frizz for over 90 mins (in my defense I’d just gotten off an 8 hour flight and wasn’t paying attention). Her colleague had to come over and flat iron the mess and I was left with unclean, crunchy flat ironed hair. When I was charged ($45) I queried this and was told all their stylists charged the same. When I provided the above feedback I was met with literal crickets. I wasn’t even offered my jacket back. Just ignored for being honest. Sure, this is Whitby and not a top salon in Paris or London but please get it together. This poor girl should not have been thrown to a customer like this and I should have not had my time and money wasted. Beautiful decor though.

Most of the hair was broken and the waxer left lady bits bleeding and what looked like rug burn between the thighs. Hair started growing back in less than a week. Essentially shaving for masochists

Had my wedding hair and make up done here. They were so kind and accommodating with a few changes I needed to make. The hair and make up was beautiful and lasted through a rainy photoshoot. Mom got her make up done and my mother in law got her hair done and the both looked fantastic. Felt so beautiful on my special day.

The only place I will ever go for threading and waxing. Rahlee always makes me feel comfortable and welcome. No hair is left behind she is very thorough and a eye brown queen!

Had the most amazing facial the other day! The entire process was explained and my skin feels at least 20 years younger! Definitely would recommend this to anyone and everyone!

I had a facial done by Rhonda and Rahlee and I appreciated that they listened and addressed my concerns. The Brandy Alexander was one of the best spa experiences I've had! I was booked in for a Chemical Peel & Hydra Facial and it was such a relaxing experience from start to finish. The esthetician was very knowledgeable. She explained every step to me, ensuring that I was comfortable and relaxed the entire time. I felt absolutely refreshed after the service, and my skin felt so hydrated, plumped and glowy. I will be 100% returning to receive this service again!

I visited the Brandy Alexander yesterday for a new service they are offering. This facial was a 4 in 1 facial, it was relaxing and informative. Rhonda took the time to help me relax as soon as I entered and made sure I felt comfortable before beginning the facial service. She explained to me what I was having done and made sure I was okay with all of the products used before going forward. The atmosphere was clean, quiet and cozy. I will most definitely continue going to this beauty bar for another facial and other services! My skin looks SO hydrated I am very happy with the results! Thank you Rhonda!

I usually book with Rahlee, she always makes me and my sister Feel super comfortable and has always done a great job. She’s our go to and is always really reliable. I highly reccomend!

I booked an appointment with Ruby to get my hair done based on her work posted on Insta! She takes the time to explain if what you have in mind can actually look good or how it can be made to look good with my features. Her beautiful work is consistent and I could not believe how bad my hair actually was in the before and after comparison haha! Love how trendy she is and I LOVE MY HAIR! Would totally recommend for girls who need someone to trust with their hair.

I went there yesterday for facial waxing as it was within walking distance. I am totally unhappy with the experience. The technician seemed rushed and didn't do a thorough job. It wasn't till I had put my coat on that she came to me to apply the after serum/cream which she obviously forgot! I came home to find wax in my hair and had to pluck the hairs she missed. I was trained as a professional esthetician so I know the do's and don'ts! I was considering getting my hair done there but needless to say I won't be returning.

Have gone here twice for a lash lift. The first time didn't work out so well but Kelly actually reached out and explained that the timing varies for each person and offered me another chance to get it done! The second time she left the serum on for an extra minute and it did the trick! I just came back from mexico and my lashes are still amazing! Hassle free and it adds that extra something. I will now always choose lifts over extensions! Thanks so much Kelly!

This is by far the best place in town to get a brazilian or any other waxing services done. First of all they took me in very last minute PAST their closing time which was very accommodating. Rahlee did a brazilian for me and was absolutely amazing. Yes it was VERY painful but thats only because other wax bars have left me with more ingrown hairs than I can count on two hands. Rahlee glady extracted over 20 ingrowns and didn’t charge extra for that service. Overall I left sore and tender but happy. Also only $34 for a brazilian so you can’t really beat that. Going back in 4 weeks for more!

I really don't understand how anyone would give a bad review! This place is amazing everyone is so friendly and helpful, its really cute! And my brows look fantastic! I did the henna and love it! The prices are great too. If you have not been then u gotta go! Thanks Kelly and your beauty's i will always be back!

Kelly is heaven sent and very knowledgeable in all the services. What I like is she is very transparent and open and answers any questions and makes you feel at ease with anything. Today I visited this place for the first time and I am so happy with the result. Rahlee did an awesome job for eyebrow threading and shaping. I will definitely go back again. Rahlee is professional in shaping your eyebrow. I highly recommend her.

I had threading done by Sahar a few weeks ago and she was amazing! She took her time and shaped my brows and advised me what to do until they grow back in certain spots. I loved that she explained everything to me and checked before removing any extra hair. She even colored them in for me with an eyebrow pencil to give them a nice shape where I had less hair in some areas. I have never had anyone pay so much attention to my brows! Thank you Sahar you were amazing!
Also had a facial in September by Rahlee and she was great.very thorough. Thanks for the amazing service ladies!

The brandy alexander is my regular spot for hair, threading and waxing and I love trying out other services! The makeup artist are without a doubt amazing! The facials are incredible! First time ever having my eyebrows waxed. I was scared to the point of shaking and walking out. Kelly was amazing she was kind and patient and totally understanding of my situation.
Pain was there some places really hurt some not at all. Over all I am super pleased with how I was treated and will definitely return again!

I used to go here for Brazilian waxing because it was conveniently on my way home from work but every time I went, I got the sense I was unwelcome. The last time I went, I had booked myself into an open time through the online booking portal they use about an hour before I arrived and the owner was who I had picked for my technician, based on reviews saying she does a good job. When I got there, she acted super annoyed at me for showing up and kept laughing and joking with another girl, not really paying attention to what I was saying. Then she put me into a room and said get ready, so I did. SHE DID NOT COME BACK FOR 20 minutes! It was terrible, I kept thinking ok a few more minutes then I’m leaving. Who keeps a Brazilian wax client sitting for so long in the room? I’ve gone to other places and never got treated this way, regardless of how busy they are. They only put you in the room once they are ready. There was only one other girl getting a haircut by another worker so no reason to take that long other than wanting to be completely disrespectful. When she came in she acted completely normal and quickly did her job and left. I was too humiliated and didn’t complain then about waiting for so long. Not sure what her problem was, but she definitely doesn’t treat everyone equally.

I’m new into Whitby and was looking for a spot for body waxing and eyebrows and this spot was recommended from a friend at work and I was so Impressed. I had my stuff done with Kelly and it was all really great! She was super nice and listened to exactly what colour and shape I wanted and my eyebrows have never looked better. The spot itself was cute and clean and the receptionist even offered me coffee or tea. Actually can’t beleve the Amazing prices for the top level of service they gave me! Thank you ladies I will be seeing you every month from now on

I used to go somewhere else for facial threading and the threader there was excellent, tried others since then and have not been happy I've been here several times now for facial threading and I must say that Sahar is the best threader. She really heightened my experience and I am thrilled with her service. She has a very light touch and suggested another service to add while I was there and I am thrilled with that one as well. All the staff here are friendly and the place itself looks clean and well kept. I will be a regular now that I have found Sahar. Highly recommend.

The wax used for my hair removal was way too hot and burned my skin. Leaving it red, peeling, and painful to touch

Loved my lash lift and tint done by Kelly. Kelly is amazing and quick! She gets the job done and it looks amazing! She is also a great make up artist, I have had her do my make up and other members of my family who were older and younger and everyone loved the result. She will create a look perfect for you!

Once I experienced this Beauty Bar I no longer have to worry about rosacea breakouts and hours of skin irritation after waxing! I now have my mom going regularly. Excellent customer service!

THE BEST SALON IN DURHAM! I get all my salon services there (threading, lashes, waxing, etc) and from the prices, quality of services, to the amazing employees, nothing can be beat! Their Brazilians are 30$ which is like 20$ cheaper then anywhere else! I highly recommend you give this place a shot, you will not be disappointed and in fact you will be thrilled to have found a place that offers such amazing services at such amazing prices!
