Didn't encounter the food; but for someone whose situation demanded a chill atmosphere with tonnes of good conversation or I'd likely lose my mind again; the pool, drinks and volume of friendly strangers helped to no end.

Theres no better place In town to shoot some pool. Friendly people, Friendly staff and always a Great time. It's my 2nd home for a reason

Fun place. $12 triples are wonderful. A tad inconsistent in their hours around closing time. Love that they now serve pizza for cheezus, it tastes incredible. Expect to wait a bit for a table, this place is popular. I particularly love the Touch Tunes juke box!

Forced to pay use an atm and pay with cash because their machines only except credit.iDarts is 1000x better

Hands down the best establishment to play pool. Excellent atmosphere and the tables are the best table you can find in waterloo region.

I go hear most weekends for playing pool and having a drink. I like the vibe and their fries are the best (along with the plum sauce)

The bartender likes to tell you to wear a mask when 80% of the people inside are not wearing masks.
Idiots like her need to stay home and not serve the general public.

The owner was very kind, well mannered, and veery friendly. The tables and cue stick are in great condition, the place was very clean. If you’re looking for a place to have some fun with friends or a date night with your partner I recommend The Break Room whether you are a novice or a pro, you’re guaranteed to have a good time here.

Kinda hard to find without knowing where it is! Usually, its full of students and the tables are packed. The atmosphere is meh, but the prices for drinks are pretty fair and they have some neat deals.

The door to this place is at the back of the building, not visible from the street, so you kinda have to know where you're going in advance. It's clean but not pretentious or overly decorated, so you don't need a tux to fit in. Tables appear to be in good repair and level. Provided cues are typically a little warped so it was hard to find a straight one. My drinks were cheap, my order of onion rings was *huge*, tasty and cheap. Everything is deep fried, so expect snacks as opposed to meals. Yes I would recommend this place.

Only popped in to meet someone, sat down and was greeted by staff. My not thing, but from my 20 minutes of chilling here it seems like a great place

Odd location, pool ques were cracked and had damage. Drinks were alright and the crowd of people was mixed.

I came here with my team for an afternoon work event. It was plenty of fun playing pool and darts and watching the sports games they were showing. The drinks were good and we had an open bar (work perks amiright!). We rented out the whole place while we were there, so it was quiet and everyone knew everyone, but it seems to be a great place just to hang out with friends and socialize, and even meet people.

Pool tables should be maintained better food selection is min and no room to socialise with ur friends I've seen people eating standing up because there not enough tables and room in there I give it a 3 star because of the people who work there they are great

Decent pool hall. It’s very clean and the crowd was great. However, when we arrived the waitress was very rude and inattentive before assigning us to our tables. When we tried checking out, she was just on her phone (texting) multiple times for a solid 3 minutes before she served us. Sure you can use your phone at work (everyone does.), but do your job and serve the customers first! Worst customer service ever! This location is very close to us but we will not be returning.

Great atmosphere and great price for drinks. Keep in mind the tables ain't free though. Seems to catch people off guard when the bill is due sometimes.

There was nobody there that early but it got pretty busy around 6. The service was great. I havent been to the break room since it was downtown Kitchener

The bartenders are very friendly and darts are free, there are usually enough pool tables, unless you go on a Friday or Saturday night when it's prime time. It is small so be prepared to get cozy with the people you're next too. Other than that it's a pretty relaxed place to go when you're looking for a casual drink or a general good time.

I LOVE their chicken fingers and fries! They have lots of tables for pool, decently priced. They also have darts for those who just want to grab a bite to eat or get a drink. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and the environment is pretty chill.

Pretty nice place to just hang out and chill. It's a different atmosphere from clubs and it's fun to just hang out here sometimes instead of dropping a bunch of money on watered down drinks at some greasy club.

The tables are in decent condition and music was ok, but the good news end there. Tables are too cramped, so you're constantly having to excuse and work around others (it doesn't help that the crowd is young and doesn't know better). Also this place needs better and more cues, a group of us 3 had to share 1 cue and it was so badly worn on the end that it felt like each hit was a shotgun.

Great place, big and a great environment.staff is helpful and fast. I highly recommend this place for family or a cheap date night!

I have been there twice on a Wednesday and the customer service has been horrible. First time I went in it seemed like the tall blonde server was having a bad day, just by the way she was speaking to me. She didn't ask how I was, just asked if I wanted a table, I then had to ask her for a drink and she rolled her eyes. I didn't think much of it until I seen her sitting in the back with her friends laughing and ignoring other customers at the bar. Yesterday was my second time, servers playing pool, ignoring customers to talk to friends or boyfriends. No smile or friendly voice. My presences there seemed to be an inconvince to the people working as they would rather play pool and talk to other customers. I will not be coming here again or recomending any of my friends or family to come here. I understand that serving is a hard job as my many of my friends are servers or were. However this level of customer service and service alone was appaling.

Closed for private event with nothing posted online. Wasted a cab ride over for nothing. Good first impression

Wow, what a hidden gem of a hot spot. This is the second time I have been here. The service staff is a bit thin, other than that it's a great spot. Very inexpensive for a night out. The jukebox has something for everyone. The adult drinks are more than affordable. Food was standard deep fried, limited options but addaquite. My homies of 30 plus years had a GREAT night here (we do this once a year). Everyone there was cool and no attitudes. This place is simply a great spot (it's hidden around back) to have a fun time. It's a bit hard to find since it's not well marked out front.

Cheep place to drink if you dont mind being screamed at by a bartender for something the guy sitting beside you said.
