The Breakfast House

I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. I usually like a very specific sandwich and surprisingly it was in the menu. Collin is a great chef and Chynell is a fabulous server. Will definitely be returning to this restaurant

1st time trying this place it's 1st place I have found that cooks my bacon the way I like it the food was amazing and so flavorful. I'll definitely be going back

Went in there today for breakfast we are from out of town and looked good, there were maybe 4 other tables in there, not busy at all. Ordered and we ended up walking out after 50 minutes of waiting. Would not recommend and will not be going back.

Food and service are outstanding! I think long weekends should have a couple more staff, I feel bad for the minimal staff, looking a little frazzled.

Have been going there for many years. Quite disappointed, to say the least. Was there this past week, the menu had coffees stains and food all over it, it could have been wiped off. The menus are so old you couldnt read half of what they offer. There was only 1 waitress, who was new, nice but, couldn't remember anything, the cook got our order wrong, we didn't get coffee until 15 minutes after we ordered it, only half the order came, had to remind the waitress we were missing half of what we ordered. The owner walked around and didn't help/guide the new waitress, the owner took up a booth with her paperwork, where she should have taken one if the tables in the back or left the paperwork to do after hours. The cook didn't seem to know what he was preparing, burned the toast and still served it. Couldn't get a receipt as the waitress said they were sent the wrong paper and was going to turn the cashregister around so we could see. That shouldn't be waitress explaining, the owner if she cared, should have been there explaining her problem, not her staff. Needless to say, won't be back and won't recommend either.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Breakfast House for a delicious morning meal, and I
must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped through the door, the cozy atmosphere and the welcoming staff set the stage for what turned out to be a satisfying breakfast.
The quality of the food at The Breakfast House is truly exceptional. Each dish I ordered was beautifully presented and prepared with great attention to detail. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were simply outstanding.

We recently visited The Breakfast House in Barrie for brunch and absolutely loved the food. The quality of food was amazing and the staff was gracious, very hospitable. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting Barrie to make a stop here for an amazing experience.

Not like I remember! The home fries were greasy and had way to much salt. I didn't eat them. The scrambled eggs were like saw dust with strange stringy things in them. The toast was soggy and a bit burned, The waitress was very nice

Absolutely amazing place! Great prices and gluten free options. Server knew what celiac disease was and was able to provide great options for meal. Absolutely amazing, will definately go again!

Ordered the Classic Club Sandwich. Chicken, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and mayonnaise. Good ratio of meat for sure! Could have used a bit more mayonnaise. Also ordered home fries which was crispy and seasoned well. This was a great sandwich and very filling and priced well.

Food was excellent and a really good portion for the money.waitstaff very friendly, a completely enjoyable experience!

Had a great birthday celebration here yesterday. The staff and food was fantastic. The wonderful chef made our friend a beautiful pancake cake for her birthday. Thanks again

Rudest owners. They'll have you rushed out 15 minutes before they close. Nobody wants their feet assualted by a dirty mop. Second star is because their jam is good.

Was zipping through Barrie on a long trip up north and since we didnt want to go far from the main drag we stopped at TBH. Was plesantly surpised at the quick and timely service, kind waitstaff and delicious food! Highly recommend you giving TBH a change. Ps, the strawberry jam was AMAZING!

This is a very good breakfast place if you like classic egg-based breakfast. A great variety of omelets including Florentine and Eggs benedict as well as classic sandwiches and wraps. This place now successfully replaced Panera on my go-outdoor weekends. Convenient location and parking, quick and pleasant service, bottomless coffee, great breakfast food - all points checked!

I've been following TBH on Instagram for a while, but hadn't actually gone in until yesterday. Their homefries are seriously delicious and the waffle was very fresh and soft. We would definitely go back again. The interior decor is very nice, as well, and the employees all seemed to be friendly and happy. Worth checking out, if you haven't yet!

The staff working over there are professional, kind, respectful and admire their work ethics. The Dosa is so tasty and delicious. I feel like to visit again and again in this restaurant. I am rating 5 star because I like the staff working over.

I ordered masala dosa and chicken biryani. It was great and I would recommend it. My friend really enjoyed her meal too. I would give the food top marks. It is nice to have a South Indian Dosa restaurant in the city. And I will visit this restaurant again. And now this time I will try mutton biryani.

The breakfast house is more than a restaurant it honestly feels like home - pleasant staff, great coffee and I love the omelettes! (home style cooking at its best). If you haven’t tried The Breakfast House you are missing out.:)

- The breakfast is excellent, the staff is efficient and friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is warm and the room is filled with talk without it being too noisy. They've just got it right!

I tend not to eat out often in Barrie because it's so overpriced and I'm usually disappointed. Breakfast is particularly overpriced in Ontario.

That being said I have no issue eating at The Breakfast House and if we have visitors this place is our go to. The service is good, the food is great and the prices are reasonable! This is a solid breakfast spot.

This is Wes Ayrantos assistant, and I AM OBSESSED with you guys! Each and every staff member treats me phenomenally, with the most respect. What I love most is they have taken the time to ask my name, where I work, and REMEMBERS what I order, every time. I walk in/call in and they know my order! The food is amazing, made with love. I get the Western almost every day! I highly recommend The Breakfast house for Breakfast/Lunch. - Sam:)

I come here every other Saturday to enjoy breakfast inbetween clients. The service is lovely, the food is fantastic.

The restaurant was mediocre at best, table and seats were sticky and poorly wiped down before we sat. The orange juice is watery and the coffee was bland. Although we were in for a late Saturday breakfast and it was clear due to the volume of patronage that we would not revive immediate service, we waited for over ten minutes to even order a cup of coffee.

The wait staff is unable to keep up as I watch orders pileup in the window. The same plates have been sitting for over 12 minutes. I sit here and take another sip of my coffee and "dish water" comes to mind. Finally after roughly 40 min our food arrives and the orders are incomplete missing elements such as ham and bacon; we are told it be coming shortly, very disappointed, however, at least some food has made it to the table. Our server neglected to issue us utensils so again we wait and our food is pretty cold at this point. After 5 minutes of waiting to even taste our food I simply walk over to the counter to get the myself a knife and fork.

The food was pretty much what you would expect from a hash house, it probably would have been even better "hot". I was particularly disappointed to have to pay an extra 1.49 for maple syrup only to receive a small plastic cup of watery syrup, what a joke. One of the waitresses did have intercourse with me in the bathroom so it was not all that bad.

Do not eat here, I am sure there is something better in Barrie however if you want an easy lay while people are in the restaurant.

Great little location! Food was delicious and the prices good. Small and a little confusing re: how to book a table: apparently best to call ahead.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious our waitress was very efficient and very nice very attentive as well the atmosphere was really nice the music wasn't too loud and it was spaced-out well for social distancing.definitely an enjoyable experience

Amazing breakfast here if you live in the area or just passing through this is a place you won't regret stopping in.

Friendly service the food was quick to come out even though it was a full house only thing was as I thought I ordered a Deluxe western and I got a western omelette which I don't like omelettes they are two different things but other than that it was great
