My husband and I just got home from shopping at the Brick and I had to take a moment to leave a review. It’s not our first time shopping at this location and we always receive great service however today we were assisted by Nicole B.and she was amazing. Had a good experience last week mattress shopping. Jay M.may be new however he was very customer oriented, knowledgeable, and wasn’t afraid to ask for input from senior associates. Jay Mohns did a great job at giving us the information we needed, without being pushy and causing me anxiety. We found exactly what we wanted for a reasonable price. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because on the door it says come in and make us an offer and the best we were able to get was half price off of delivery, which we really didn't need but decided to take it to save us the hassle.

I had a great experience at The Brick. Me and my spouse are both Military and needed to buy 5 appliances for our home, and we also had our daughter (6 years old) with us, of course finding all the appliances required takes time and anyone with kids knows that it's probably not the most entertaining to them, but our sales consultant was fantastic (Chris Pearson) he provided an activity book and a colouring page to keep her occupied while going above and beyond to get us the best deal on our purchase. I am thankful for the friendly service I received at The Brick. Also the sales were great and hopefully the products arrive on time for delivery, but another thing is our consultant said he would keep a watchful eye out for us if the delivery didn't look like it would line up and contact us to reselect if required.

The Brick has stylish, good quality furniture and appliances. The payment plans and warranty are much appreciated and very helpful. Wait times after an order can be frustrating, especially since items can be purchased when they’re not yet produced and The Brick can’t give us more information until the manufacturer sends them. I would possibly have given 3 stars if it wasn’t for the great customer service that Tammy Moore has offered us at the Pembroke store. Her customer service has kept our loyalty to The Brick alive.

Everyone was very helpful and professional. They checked their stock and did not have an optical cable. The Owner and sales rep suggested some other places that may carry them and I was able to get the needed optical cables. I'm very satisfied with the service, the people and their assistance so I will be back.

We walked into the Brick looking to size a fridge, upon seeing the beds on sale we asked Crystal a quick question and ended up purchasing the bed. While finishing the paperwork she turned and ask if she could help with anything else like a refrigerator -joking- little did she know that is why we went there in the first place. She was so friendly and knowledgeable about all products we ended up purchasing all our appliances too! Would definitely not hesitate to recommend Crystal and the Brick, Pembroke!

You guys must not be very eager to make money. We just went in looking for appliances, couldn't find any workers, so we had customer service page someone to come help. We then proceeded to stand around for 15 minutes before we decided to leave since no one seems to want to come help us.

Purchased a mattress in February and the side had buckled out. Asked for refund at this time because I'm not satisfied with quality ; but was refused due to policy. In the end the mattress was replaced under warranty in a timely matter. March until August the mattress was okay but now again; the end of the mattress let go and is buldging out. I am truely dissatisfied with this mattress and the brick refuses to do compensation.

We purchased three major appliances in March (that at the time, showed they would be avail by end-April). The sales representative at the time of the purchase in the store was incredibly helpful and took the time to offer appliance alternatives to fit our needs. We were told at the time of purchase to expect "some" delays due to the pandemic.

At the end of April I was called and told that 2/3 appliances would be (almost) on time (for mid May) but the refrigerator was already delayed until mid June. At the time we had not fully paid for the appliances and I was told that if we didn't, they would not be able to claim the appliances from the warehouse when they arrived there. Due to this, I paid for all three appliances.

Our dishwasher and stove were delivered (in May/beginning of June). In June I was called and told that our refrigerator was now delayed until mid July. Around the end of June I called to ask whether we could have a loaner (since we had moved into our home a month ago without one) I was told by our sales representative that they had a second family in a "similar situation" and would be asking the owner whether we could receive a loaner and would get back to me the next day.

After a week without any response from my sales representative on this request, I called to find out what was going on and was told that the owner would call me. The next afternoon the owner called me to say that we would have received a loaner, except that they realized that it was leaking and required repairs, and if they have it repaired before we get our fridge, they can loan it to us. Last week we physically went back into the store and were told that our fridge still showed a delivery "in the next week" and were told that it was likely that the loaner would not be repaired in time.

We purchased the exact same fridge - in stock and available for delivery - from Costco on Monday 12 July. When I called the Brick on Tuesday to cancel our order, I was told that the delivery was now showing "end July" so my refund would be processed (since, as a special order, it would not be if it had already shipped from the manufacturer). I asked for a refund for the warranty as well, but we were sold a "three appliance warranty package" and the sales representative did not know how to refund only a portion of that, so I was told I would receive a call the next day.

The store manager called me Wednesday to tell me that our sales representative had told us the wrong warranty in March and I would not be receiving a refund for the fridge portion, because the warranty we were supposed to have paid for was a high enough price point (versus what we had paid) that we were "already getting the refund's worth. "

A side point to mention as well is that when we purchased our appliances in March our sales representative told us that she would monitor the price of our appliances and price match if anything reduced/went on sale. In all of this waiting for our refrigerator we noticed the price reduced, so the day we physically went in (beginning of July) we asked why we had not received a refund and were told that it was actually the customer's responsibility to monitor any price reduction and if we had brought it up, the store would match it. Contrary to what we were told the day of purchase.

All in all, we were highly disappointed in our sales experience with the Brick. Having been strung along three or four weeks at a time for months was incredibly disheartening - had we been told a legitimate delivery time upfront, it would have enabled us to actually find a solution to carry us along until it arrived. We felt like we were constantly having to ask for answers and advocate for ourselves rather than the Brick being upfront and taking care of us like customers.

I will not be recommending this store to anyone.

Was on The Brick website the other day to make a purchase. When I was checking out I noticed a price change on one of my items. Made a call to the store and learned there was a glitch (oh the joys of technology)

Bottom line, was able to have a person, Jason, complete my purchase.
He was very kind, to inform what the issue was and looked after all of my requests, in a professional manner. Thanks again Jason!

Woke up to a flooded kitchen as my fridge had crapped out. First thought was to give the Brick in Pembroke a call as we are near Renfrew. Talked with Crystal and in minutes had a fridge that suited us and she even went the extra mile to get it out us the next day. Really appreciate her high level of customer service and professionalism. Love the new fridge and definitely will go back to the Brick in Pembroke.

Went in to address and issue and the owner Patty was absolutely fantastic. She was upbeat and friendly and not only addressed my issue and fixed it, but she was kind and courteous and an absolute pleasure to deal with. She got me a fantastic deal and I walked away a very happy customer.
Highly suggest shopping here for furniture!

This store has amazing staff! I had to buy a dishwasher in the middle of this pandemic and Michele was amazing! Michele assisted me by providing suggestions, helping me compare units and promptly sending me information to help me make a choice. Then she helped coordinate the delivery (Next Day!) all of this was done over the phone.
The store stocks some of the appliances they offer and even if I chose one not in stock it would have come in less than 5 days (Home Depot was quoting 14 days who wants to wait that long?)
Take a moment, buy local and trust the staff at this location to take excellent care of you. The professionalism of Michele, the quick turn around and the follow through with information made our buying experience exceptional! Thanks Michele!

I've bought a few pieces of furniture from this Brick and have been very happy with my experience both times. Any issues I've had have been rectified and fixed with no hassle. I recently went back to the Brick to purchase a couch for my basement, and had excellent service from Crystal, (the girl with the red glasses) Super friendly, informative and fun to deal with. Would recommend this store to anyone.

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. My wife and I have made several purchases here and it's always been a great experience. We recently had a refrigerator delivered and some damage was done to our wood floors. My wife spoke with the owner who, in our opinion, went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied and compensated for the damage. Great place, great people! Would recommend it to everybody!

I purchased a couch set from the brick Pembroke. The first love seat came damaged and I had to wait a week for another love seat to come. The second love seat came damaged so yet again had to wait. Called the store to get some kind of compensation for the 2 damaged love seats and was told by the customer service representative that she would speak to her manager who was on the floor and call me back. Did not receive a phone call back. Called the store again the next day and was told they do not offer compensation for this. Reiterated that I was told I would receive a phone call back and was told the manager wasn’t on the floor that day and hadn’t been the day before either after the prior customer service representative had said she was. Very disappointed in this service.

I purchased a large, supposing high quality fridge. 14 months after the track for the crispers broke and this store was of NO help. I went to a different store that sells the same fridge and got way more help. I was under the impression that when you spend $3000.00 on a fridge it would be of high quality, my mistake. It will be a long time before I will make another purchase at The Brick

They took their time and were very careful not to bump into anything and they arrived on time.

Paid $2000 for table/chairs/bench that LITERALLY FALL APART every single time they hold weight. I am 125lbs but these chairs were not designed to hold even that much weight. Since there is nothing that a sales rep can do to control the quality of items sold, I have asked that the owner contact me but that was last week and no one has followed up. Tightening the screws and reassembling my dining room chairs should not have to be one of my daily chores.

Worst customer service.
Mary yelling at customers, very rude and uncalled for attitude toward (us) and the other customers waiting in line and she even gave completely wrong information on our warranty claim.

Apparently brick doesn't want anyone's business.

Just so everyone knows, Ottawa locations will deliver. Worth the fee to not deal with those people.

The only good point is Bill, if you MUST go to The Brick, deal with Bill. He seems to be the only one whom has a clue there.

Be careful! They try and sell you the floor model but it does not say on the sale tag. As well mattresses that are floor model have no warranty.

Service is a hit and miss to say the least. Richard was a very nice saleperson and helped me greatly, when I purchased a stove and fridge. However, when I asked if the appliances were on pallets (very simple question) the lady immediately snapped that they didn't come on pallets and dismissed me. Another salesperson gave us outrageous prices for appliances we picked up for half the cost another saleperson gave us. It is dissappointing because I love the store itself but the customer service is lacking.

The Bricks sales rep Nicole was very welcoming and helpful with our purchase. It’s the best sofa set EVER. Today we received our sectional/sleeper and James and Jason were very polite/respectful young men who came into our home to set it all up, they even removed their muddy shoes when I was fully expecting them not to LOL. They have quite the job to do with loading and unloading heavy pieces of furniture and driving to the distances they do, much respect for them. Thanks too all for your service!
