We are not drinkers, but this place is a regular for us because the food is so great. Love their fettuccine

Horrible DJ on Saturday nights! Did not take song requests because they didn’t fit “the atmosphere” or they were too fast/too slow/too electro etc.why do you have a live DJ if he doesn’t play your requests!
Otherwise, service for our group of 20+ guests was great, I come here regularly during the week after a sports class nearby. Usually everything is great but I was really disappointed by the unprofessional attitude of the DJ. He was so defensive and rude!

Good selection of drinks and snacks. Nice English style pub in the midtown. Good staff. Recommend!

Excellent! Went in expecting an average pub experience and was very pleasantly surprised. Bartending team was fantastic. Watched the Stanley Cup final, had a beauty of a lamb curry with very fluffy rice. Later understand a dj is there biweekly on Saturday nights. Music was great, beer was cold, and the other patrons we're very warm. Will be back!

Great ambiance. Went their for the hot wings and a beer and the chicken wings were great.

Sangria was not upto the mark though.

Lovee this place great pool only thing I will say adding gratuity to a bill for 2 guys that came to drink play pool is the most disrespectful thing ive ever seen in a pub especially not so upscale one, and if you don't watch your drinks being made they will under serve you. My friend will never come back here from bayview because of this. I'm still wondering why there was gratuity added I feel absolutely cheated and stolen from.will come back I belive in second chances so help me God If I'm charged gratuity again I will refuse and some one needs to learn about proper etiquette

Absolutely LOVE the Bull. Super friendly and very welcoming atmosphere, kind and friendly owner and wonderful staff who go above and beyond to make every visit a positive and enjoyable experience!

Loved the atmosphere and the food. Our server was fantastic. The Firkin pubs are always a good place to go with friends.

The beer is great and the staff is awesome. This place is somewhat awkwardly setup but I am assume that is a constraint of the layout. I had a decent time here. I'd suggest it as a good low energy stop over.

The bull is a great pub! The food is amazing and the staff are always friendly. I've been coming here for years and the experience has always been wonderful! I love that they have a DJ on Saturday nights now.

Incredible bar with fantastic ambience and even nicer staff. However, the restaurant / bar next door is incredibly disruptive and often has patrons act completely inexcusably whilst inside / outside the Bull. Sadly, not much can be done about this. With all that said, if you're looking to grab a booth and lounge for an evening it's a great place to be.

Jenn was one of the best waitresses I've ever seen in my entire life and one time I saw Guy Fieri eat an entire submarine sandwich without blinking.

Very comfortable pub with dim lights. The waiters are friendly and the food is pretty good, if a bit pricey.

Don't waste your time or money on this place - choose literally anywhere else for a better experience.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service, and decent prices. They have 2 pool tables in an upstairs loft area for $2/play, loonies only.

The service here is really good. We went with our 2 year old daughter. The staff were very considerate and made sure our daughter is comfortable. They gave her paper and crayons to color and even an orange juice to make sure she did not feel left out. We could not have asked more.

I ordered for pick up and the service was quick and friendly. Ordered the lamb wrap, poutine and lava cake. OMG! It was delicious!

Food was not the best.the wings were disappointing. HOWEVER The drink selection is wonderful, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful.its possible i just had a new cook and will give it another try when restrictions lift.but i did not leave unhappy.

The Firkin Pubs have great menus. Lots of good stuff to choose from. The Bull has wonderful staff and the environment they've created given the current circumstances makes you feel safe and comfy. The service is always friendly and efficient with good vibes all around. When at Yonge and Davisville, be it's the place to hang out!

Really good! The menu didn't feel limited like many do during covid. The specials didn't even offer a burger of some sort. Left full and tipsy!

Great to finally be back on a patio! Service was great even though a customer tried to ruin it for everyone by questioning the waiver he had to sign on his cell phone. Only two servers there and they both did a fantasic job!

Best bar in the neighborhood, fantastic staff and service. I've gotten to know a few of the staff, I have to say Lilly and Ryan are superb. You'll never be thirsty or be pressured to order more. Fantastic environment!

For being close to my place, I wish I could have been there more often. I love the booths. I was surprised how good the food was for a bar especially from the specials. Good selection of beers and the pool table is always a go-to!

My go-to pub that is a comfortable place to have a burger and beer or any other of their delicious yummy tummy foods! Great selections of beer, ale, and other alcoholic beverages as well as non- alcoholic beverages. And they have a wonderful raised front patio overlooking Yonge St.
REVIEW #2: Just had lunch - Firkin burger and a beer, my favourites. As usual the service was phenomenal and the food was superb and delicious. The staff are so wonderfully charming, efficient and always polite and friendly. I love coming here and believe the ambience is due to the wonderful management of the General Manager John Ortega who has been at the helm for over twenty years! It shows John, and a great deal of credit goes to you for this pub's success! Thank you!

Warm ambience, large spread for starters (pricing is little higher), a pool table and servers, especially Ms Candice, really give apt choice of drinks!

Great time and great pints for a reasonable price. Service as always is fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Best burgers in town and free pool on sundays and mondays. Great atmosphere and always positive attitude staff. New menu is great and comes with lots of vegetarian options. Great place for a night out or a quick bite to eat.

Went here on a Friday night and the vibe was really nice + prices were average. The waitresses and service at the bar were straightforward. The pool table is a bit wonky but the waitress was quickly there to help us when one of the balls got stuck. Nice no-frills atmosphere with lots of flexibility in moving around the upper deck area.

Come here for work parties every month. Good beer, good food and lots of space inside and out.

Great location after train spotting at the nearby Davisville Yard. This pub has a great selection of beer and friendly, knowledgeable staff! I will definitely visit this fantastic pub again!

Very friendly and nice brunch. We had to ask the server for accessibility access for wheelchair and they were all over it to unlock and let us in a side door since their front entrance is all stairs.
My only recommendation would be to request a sticker for their front door so people don't miss going here due to thinking it is not accessible.
Food was great and service was nice.

I went for lunch. Had the meat load and salad. Food was what I expected. Service was good for a weekday lunch. And friendly.

The Firkin pubs are generally very good.

Their specials are always yummy and the prices are pretty reasonable.

This one is a little bit more rundown than some others that have had a new life breathed into them, but still a nice place to grab a drink and a quick bite.

I went there with my friends and we had such a fun time there. They have 8ball and darts there. Around 10 pm a dj came and was so good and surprising. The person was taking care of us was so nice and helpful and she did her best. Food was good too and I really enjoyed it. I recommend this place. You gonna have fun there.

I've never been to England, but couldn't help but feel that I'd find a pub very similar to The Bull: A Firkin Pub if and when I do travel to England.

We usually host most of our after-work related events at this pub. Management has always been great to work with in helping us organize the events. The wait staff are tremendously friendly and attentive.
