Wish they had Shipping Receiving hours. Stor hours show 9am to 5pm. People been coming in to work since 4: 30am. Wouod be nice companies like this posted Shipping Receiving hours for us trucker's

We purchased a custom kitchen in August 2000. The design portion of the project went well and installation (our installer) proceeded on time. We began to notice buckling in the corner of the shaker panels and some roughening on the bottom edges of several lower doors within the first two years. Also, in several places the shaker trim began to separate from the flat portion of the doors. I sent an email to the designer we had dealt with expressing my concerns and attached several pictures for her to see. I heard nothing for ten days and then received an email from the service/warranty manager. He stated that the damage was caused by water sitting on the doors or scratches and that our only solution was door replacement at our cost. We are a retired couple who live alone and spend 1/3 of the year at our cottage. The kitchen is not heavily used! A kitchen reno is expensive; I would have expected better longevity than 2 years.

They installed my kitchen trough EQ. Poor quality and design. You could see all the holes from the nails and the L brackets on the drawers. The baseboards are already coming off the corners on my island. Only used glue and other discrepancies.

Very helpful with explaining things we didn't understand. They are very lenient unlike other places we've been to.

We personally had terrible experience.
We chose this company based on good reviews, paid extra for a “professional “ designer, in order to avoid any measurement mistakes, and to have warranty on it.unfortunately most of the kitchen has mistakes in sizing, it looks like something put together from scraps rather then a designed kitchen. Not to mention the delays, we had to celebrate xmas without a working kitchen.
There were handles missing which we didn’t receive, and had to purchase separately, under cabinet lights that don’t fit at all and laying loosely, etc.and it’s been two years! We have been emailing them (way before covid time) and at first they kept postponing the date to come and fix what is possible to fix (they did come and made a long list of things that are missing and could be fixed after installation) but after a few months they just stopped answering, and of course didn’t come on the date they said they would. We are very disappointed.

Countless delays, revocation of a promised refund, terrible management - that summarizes my experience with TCC.

TCC took 12 months to finish a relatively simple kitchen that was due to take 2 months. All along the way, there were numerous errors with ordering and delivering completely incorrect products, issues with scheduling, and some issues with installation. Some of the same errors were repeated multiple times. Granted, 3 months of delay were due to COVID; however, it still took 7 attempts to get it right, each time accompanied with a "commitment" to fix the issue for the next time. We ordered in October 2019 for a Dec 2019 install. They finally completed the project on October 30 2020.

Aside from the owners, you'll meet some of the nicest front-line crew at TCC. I don't have any qualms with their politeness or desire to do a good job. The issue is that there is a level of incompetence right from the top, with owners Carlos Craston and Steve Corbell. They even recognized issues in January 2020 and offered compensation for my troubles, only to reverse that position, withdraw their offer for compensation, and suggest that *they* should be compensated for needing to reorder parts (due to their own errors). Their own deliverers and installers felt the need to apologize to us repeatedly for what we were going through, ultimately showing more remorse than we saw from the owners.

The cabinets they provide are beautiful. The service, specifically their follow-through, is terrible. Do yourself a favour and order your cabinets from another provider. There are other companies in Ottawa that will provide the same product. TCC was the sole reason why the completion of our reno was delayed.
