Ordered the shrimp bag and I wasn’t satisfied with the sauce, My server Shomi did a excellent job fixing my order with no issues I would highly recommend asking him to be your server! Thank You Shomi!

Went in tonight for dinner for two. Service was fast and our server was great. Food tasted great, only complaint is wish there was more sides in the boils. I got the single order and it only had one potato and small piece of corn. And it didn’t make me full.

Staff welcoming and generous when choosing menu as a first time guest here. Food delicious! Recommend bringing your friends. I rate the playlist.will be returning!

Eating at Captains Boil at Thornhill was such a beautiful experience for me and my friend. The vibe is cozy, the food is mouth watering, the playlist is bomb, and the service was A+! Great work team! Will definitely come back!

Me and the Wifey spent our 2 year anniversary here, food was great and Mike went above and beyond fulfilling our needs. We especially had fun making a mess eating which is definitely something new to enjoy, 10/10 would make a mess again, sorry Mike.

Captains boil is always the go to for great seafood boil. Shrimp and chicken with captains boil sauce non spicy is. Saul served us, he was on point, A+ service and food.

I went with friends and we had the Captain's Feast. The service is good, staff are friendly. We came an hour before closing, they did not turn us away, and did not rush us. The food is really good, serving proportions are good for sharing. We left satisfied and with a full belly. I would recommend going to this place if you're looking for a good seafood grub.

The food and customer service was top notch! I tried the seafood fried rice and snowcrab and they were delicious. I'd recommend this location to any one who loves seafood.

I have been a regular customer at the highway 7 branch for almost 2 years. I would always get my take outs there and the occasional group dine in and we loved it there. The staff were very friendly and the food was really good.

Unfortunately everything changed a couple of months ago and it just seems like the old team doesn’t work there anymore. The portions became very less and it seems like everything is overcooked, the clams and sausages literally shrank and they were hard.

I tried dining in again today (march 21,2023) and it was the same as the last bad experience that I had. Portions were very little and dry and it was also really salty. I am never going back to this branch ever again. Very disappointing.

Rice was stale or undercooked. It was crunchy and hard to eat. The seafood was okay. When I told them about the rice they took 5% off the bill which is nice but this fried rice is one of my fav dishes in other captain boil locations so I was sad about this.

We had a great family time last night. Good atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food.

Really enjoyed the service! George was great, and answered every question we had. Just wish the side portion was larger.

The food served at The Captain's Boil restaurant is of great quality, and Nikka in particular has significantly contributed to making the restaurant’s atmosphere pretty welcoming and comfortable

Personally the mussels with Captain's Boil sauce was my favorite.

I ordered Shrimps with Broccoli and Corn via UberEats. But there is NO Corn in it. Other than that, the sauce is so light that I can barely taste it! I called the restaurant and replied by “we’ll give you corn next time”. Thank you but definitely NO Next Time！

My girls and I had a girls night there and we had an amazing time the place was sooo clean, nice service and the food was amazingggggg, definitely recommend!

My absolute favourite restaurant in Markham. The seafood is fantastic with amazing sauces, seasonings and sides. Portions are very generous. Such a fun and interactive dining experience. Servers were outstanding - efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return, would definitely recommend to friends and family!

I had a chance to visit Captain Boil last week and I must say the food was phenomenal. The employees were very friendly. This is definitely my new go-to spot!

I must say, this is the goto place for seafood in town! By far the best captain's boil location i have been to, with great ambience. We loved the lobster and snow crab legs. The service was good and the staff were very attentive.

Captain's boil Thornhill location is my favourite dinning spot and I always enjoy their menu. It does have a variety of seafood offerings and their Sauces are to die for. Different than the usual restaurants and amazing experience with bags, gloves and bibs. A fun dining experience - be ready to get dirty! The service was on Pointe, definitely worth it.

Extremely underwhelming and disappointing first dining experience here. I’ve been waiting to try this place out and was so disappointed in the quality of food and the level of customer service. Our waiter never came and checked on us once. Mid way through our meal, we started smelling what smelt like sewage in the restaurant… it made we want to leave right then and there, however, the meal was too expensive not to finish… then to top it all off we had to get up to go to the counter to let them know we were finished and wanted our cheque… a first and last time dining experience for me. Should’ve read the reviews. A well deserved, underwhelming 1 out of 5 stars.

Great place to do parties. We celebrated our kids birthday party there and we really enjoyed. Delicious food and great customer service. Highly recommended.

Give you less sauce and foods than what’s showing on the menu. (for example, they give you 0.8pounds of foods and say it has 1 pound of foods)

Amazing spot to have a family dinner. Great service, great food, and great atmosphere. We definitely will be dropping by more often for dinner. Lobster is HIGHLY recommended and garlic shrimp with the seafood rice mix.
